"That's true I suppose. Though there hasn't been any attacks lately. And Jennalin is stronger than she was then." Raevyn pointed out. When he heard Ashriel come out, he stood up, catching her around the waist. He carried her back to the couch and sat down with her on his lap. "No. You're staying here and resting for awhile." He said, holding her firmly.

Ashriel pouted when Raevyn caught her. "But I don't need rest." She said crossing her arms as she sat there, like a little kid being reprimanded.
Lucian sighed, nodding. "From what Raevyn told me, it sure sounds like you need rest." He added, not about to continue the conversation aloud about Jennalin with Ashriel sitting right there. Not when she was acting like this. That is a good point. I might call Mother later, see if she'll listen to me. He said silently, going to join the two on the couch.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just snorted, not letting her up. "Maybe if you hadn't passed out, I'd believe that." He told her bluntly. "Lucian, could you grab something for her to eat please?" He asked silently. "I'm sorry Ash. I'll be more careful." He murmured to her apologetically. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, apparently confused by his statement. "I don't remember passing out. Wait - why are you apologizing?" She asked, apparently not remembering the fact that she just passed out the night before. Who knows how she thought that they'd gotten back home - she just didn't think anything happened that was out of place last night. Lucian nodded, going into the kitchen. He grabbed one of the pancakes that had been left over from a couple days before and brought it over, figuring that it would be easiest to get Ashriel to eat something like that.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I should have been taking better care of you. If I had, you wouldn't have fainted last night." Raevyn said softly. He nodded in thanks to Lucian, taking the pancake. "You need to eat. I don't want you passing out again." He sounded worried for her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head. "But I didn't faint." She answered flatly, her eyes looking at the pancake. "I'm not hungry." Her voice was just loud enough to hear over her stomach growling, and it was apparent that she wasn't even thinking about eating.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Ashriel, you DID faint. Nearly gave me a goddammed heart attack. Now eat the bloody pancake!" Raevyn said, glaring at her. He was obviously in no mood for her denials today. "Eat the pancake yourself, or I shove it down your throat." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel ate the pancake silently then, not saying another word. Lucian looked between the two in surprise. You...actually got her to eat... He commented silently, his eyebrows raised. Ashriel finished the pancake relatively quickly, but she didn't say anything more to Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I am not in the mood to deal with tiptoeing around her. Grab another couple pancakes, would you? I want to get as much into her as I can." Raevyn said to Lucian silently. "Thank you Ashriel." He murmured to her, nuzzling her neck gently. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian nodded, going and getting a couple more pancakes and bringing them over to Raevyn. Ashriel didn't answer Raevyn when he did speak to her, she just sat there silently.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn felt a twinge of guilt as she refused to speak to him. He offered another pancake to her. "I'm sorry I yelled Ash. Would you please eat?" He asked, quieter now. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel took the second pancake silently, eating it without contesting. Her eyes looked at him quietly as she ate it, as if she wasn't sure what she was supposed to say or think at that moment.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn cradled her, feeling bad for yelling. She had given him such a scare last night though. He continued feeding her pancakes, getting her to eat as many as he could. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel ate the last of the pancakes, looking at Raevyn quietly. "Can we go to work, now?" She asked softly, obviously not having given up on the idea that they could go to England and drag Jennalin back. It's up to you what you do, but I doubt you'll be able to get her to eat any more once she is working... Lucian told Raevyn easily in his head, but he sat down on the couch, frowning. "I'm fine..." She added softly, but she was accidentally raising Raevyn's aura so that it was visible to both Raevyn and Lucian. On second thought - let's not let her leave.
