Received my Christmas bonus check yesterday and boy does that relieve some anxiety I was having about funds and timing of upcoming bills.

Good thing I have these shorter audiobooks I can listen to while at work. It will help me work on increasing my book count for the year. Still don't think I'll make it to 100 like I wanted... but who knows... maybe a Christmas miracle will happen and I'll be able to pull it off.

With the amount of times the residents complain about what's being served for meals, I just keep thinking "Is there anything you guys do like?" neutral

Like... y'all have meetings with the Dietary Supervisor. Surely you can let her know what meals you would actually like to have and she can implement them into the menu? That is... if you even bother to attend and tell her. rolleyes

This novella audiobook is a bit more slower paced than the others I've listened to. So far I'm not really invested in what's happening story wise...

At least I can take care of the caroling aspect of the holiday event now, so I don't have to worry about it later when the main event festivities get released.

*sighs* Okay, I'm getting a bit annoyed with so many people making similar comments to this. Kids aren't going to happen until I find a partner and if we decide to even have kids in the first place. And I'm not going to take just anybody; they have to be respectful, kind, and loving and be the right fit for who I am.

I understand I'm getting older and I have a certain biological clock that could make such possibilities more complicated. But honestly, it's never been a priority for me. If it happens, it happens. *shrugs*
