Ugh. Morning's already starting off rough. Resident apparently missed her CVAN ride for church and she's constantly bugging me with "What should I do?" and wanting to call a bunch of church people. I'm trying to be patient but after having to dial 5 different numbers, I've eventually had to tell her "Let's just wait to see if we hear back from the others." Like... it's only been a couple minutes from the other folks. Give them a chance to hear your message and possibly respond.
Trying to decide what to wear for our staff holiday party tomorrow. Originally I was going to wear my new CR sweater... but then I saw there's an Ugly Christmas Party thing going on for the residents on Thursday. And I'm working that day, so I'll probably wear for sweater for that instead.

Maybe I'll wear my purple dress and the purple/red poinsetta hair clips I had made for my Mollymauk cosplay.
*chuckles at the events taking place in audiobook* Oh, look, we're getting some carol singing in this one, lol.

Definitely getting some Nightmare Before Christmas vibes with this whole Christmas and disgruntled elf wanting to work in Halloween Town under the command of "Captain Jack" who is a scarecrow-like man. sweatdrop
For heaven's sake! Do we seriously need to be doing this, guys? *sighs* Just had a resident go track down her roommate, who was attending Bible Study, and go yell at her for apparently leaving something on the floor. I felt so bad for the other residents at Bible Study who had to experience that. And of course, the one resident has a tendency to hyperfixate on any trouble she encounters, making herself more angry/anxious/etc. as a result. I told her to stop focusing on it as the Director would address the issue and return to focusing on Bible Study, in hopes it would calm her back down. Not such an easy thing for her to do apparently.

But seriously... how petty to essentially "hunt" down your roommate and make a whole big scene about it in front of other people who don't need to be involved. Why not address the matter privately? Or, you know, wait to talk with the Director directly about the issue rather than fighting with your roommate again (when obviously it's not fixing the issue)?
