"Store! I went raiding but our nail polish supply is sadly diminished by all it's uses on Alex." Lixini said with a laugh. "So I talked to mom and she gave me enough money to get a couple new bottles and some dye if we want to do something different. I'm thinking pink streaks." She grinned, not saying who she was thinking pink streaks for. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Just face it. Mouse is amazing.
Alex muttered to himself in the front seat as Ashriel buckled, laughing at Lixini. "Alright, store it is." She laughed, hugging Lix. She was glad to be out and about without Raevyn reminding her that there was danger. It was a relaxing thing for her.
See, that wasn't so bad, was it? Actually... (BE QUIET!)

Lixini giggled evilly, hearing Alex muttering. When they arrived at the store, Lixini jumped out and headed in. She went straight to the make up department, cruising through the nail polish. "Hm....What color, what color.....Ash, do you think Princess Pink or Bubble Gum Pink?" She asked, holding up a pale and a bright pink nail polish. Ashriel smiled at Lixini, following after the other girl rather quickly. "Princess pink, definitely." She answered easily as she looked at Lixini, giggling. Alex was slowly walking behind them, staring with horror at the nail polish. "Please, please don't use that on me." He muttered to himself.

Lixini grinned wickedly at Alex though she said nothing. She merely looked back to Ash. "Which colors do you want? One more for me and two for you. And then some dye. Pink. Maybe a nice blonde too. Do a candy cane look!" She giggled to herself at the thought. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Ashriel walked over and grabbed two bottles of nail polish. One indigo one, one violet one. "I like these." She said, holding up the polishes. Alex groaned off to the side. "Lix, is this really necessary?"

"Yes." Lixini answered instantly, grinning. She moved to the dye section, picking out a bright pink. "Now be quiet. Chauffeurs drive, not talk." She giggled, and looked to Ashriel. "You want to dye your hair too?" She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Ashriel bit her lip, looking at the dyes. "Maybe just a temporary one...one that will last just a week." She said, before picking out a black one. Maybe that would make Raevyn alright with it?

"Alright." Lixini smiled, accepting it easily. They headed to the till and paid quickly. She bounced out of the store and then back into the car, telling Alex teasingly, "To home James! On the double!" She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Ashriel smiled as Lixini accepted her choices, following after the other girl to the counter. "Yay. This is going to be so fun." As they walked out, Ash's eyes were looking for a black cat, just waiting for Raevyn to show up ticked at her. Then again, she did have her phone, so there should be no harm in the situation. She laughed as Lixini called out to her twin, who was muttering to himself yet again as the girls climbed into the car. "I am definitely going to get her back for this." He started the car, annoyed.

Lixini grinned at her twin. "Maybe so, but for now I'm going to enjoy it." She told him simply.
Back at the house, Raevyn stretched and yawned, waking up as the warmth left the spot Ashriel had lain in. He called out to her, expecting to hear an immediate response. When he didn't, he frowned, cocking his head to the side. He began searching the house but it didn't take long before he determined she was there. He was on the verge of panicking and racing out to find her when he remembered Lixini's girl's day. Sure enough, Lixini's scent was at the door. With a growl, he grabbed his phone and called Ashriel's cell. She had her own style, her own rules She played along like it was usual Nobody really even knew her name To her life was one big game

Alex groaned, starting to pull out of the parking lot as he did so. Ashriel's phone rang, and she lifted it up, answering it quietly. "Hello." She answered, hoping that Raevyn wouldn't explode. She already knew that it was him, so she was hoping he wouldn't be too mad.

Raevyn growled at her. "Why didn't you wake me?" He asked in annoyance. He could guess where she was, particularly since he could hear Lixini in the background, teasing her twin. So he wasn't too worried about that. He was more worried about the fact that she'd snuck off on him. (Posting from phone) Ashriel took a deep breath as she listened to Raevyn. "Well, you just looked so peaceful. I didn't want to bother you. You seemed rather tired..." She came up with an excuse instead of her actual reason for leaving him how alone. She had simply wanted a day without him worrying her about one thing or another.

Raevyn grumbled under his breath. "Fine...." He sighed and added in a calmer tone. "Stop doing this please. Running off like that scares me senseless. Leave a note or something, that way I know nothing stupid happened while I was asleep. Please?" He didn't sound mad anymore, merely exasperated. He was going to be gray before his time the way she kept slipping away from him.
