 It'll be interesting to see which residents dress up for the Super Bowl festivities later today... and which team ends up being represented the most.

She stood on the edge of the grassy dune staring out at the seascape before her. The wind blew the loose strands of her hair around her face.
"Captain?" inquired a voice behind her.
She shifted her head over enough to glance over her shoulder seeing one of her ship mates watching her with concern.
"Return to the ship," she said. Although she tried to sound authoritative, even to her she could hear the weakness of her tone. "I'll be along shortly."
The ship mate hesitated a moment before finally turning to comply with her command. She sighed as she looked down at her hands, her gaze landing on the green-gemmed ring on her finger.
"So it's come to this, has it, darling?" she whispered.

So hard to figure out what I'm going to be doing for the year con wise when there's no clear indication on whether my group of friends are doing a particular one this year or not. *sighs* Like... y'all! I need to know whether I need to focus on saving up for this really expensive one... or if I'll be good to plan on doing the cheaper one that's closer to home. xd

Not to mention, I still see no indication that a particular friend is attending a semi-local con that I was on the fence about - and they were pretty much the main reason why I even considered going. Originally, I thought I would be doing a one-day thing with a friend but then she sort of did that "maybe" stance because of the possibility of us doing another con with our friends... and that was the last we talked about it. Even with me doing a little "nudge, nudge" inquiry. *sighs*

I just want to know what I'm doing with my life this year! Especially when I have to be strategic with my money because everything is pretty much back-to-back, so I have to figure out which ones I am for sure am going to and which ones I'll have to pass on.

Well, I made fairly good progress with the Valentine's Day event but I'm starting to get bored since I can't do anything right now, since I keep getting killed. And it's hard to do anything when the only people you can find are people you've already attacked/healed. whee

Like, I'm not trying to "camp" or anything. I just find a thread where there's people I am able to do anything with and just go page by page doing what I can. If a person happens to be actively posting during the pages I'm going through, then yeah, it would seem like I'm personally attacking you. But I'm not. I'm just trying to do the event and get it over with.

It's one of the reasons why I don't like these forum-based events - having to rely on others to help you have the energy/health to do anything. If it's during an off time or everyone keeps getting wiped out, it's hard to make any progress. I prefer events where I can work at my own progress and it's just me.

Been working through the various albums and playlists I saved to my library on Spotify. xd Trying to get back to only having one playlist project going at a time... and not a bunch of "Oh, maybe I should have something for this..." sweatdrop
