Symbolism of number One God, this one sounds familiar. Is it from "Alice in Wonderland"? Yes, it is. there are no answers. however, I would have accepted 'feathers' and 'Edgar Allen Poe'.

Symbolism of number One Writing desk has feathers? yes, and Edgar Allen Poe obviously wrote The Raven on a writing desk.

You mean, the kind of feathers that were used for writing with ink in the past? Other than that, I really don't see any connection between a desk and a feather. And... Edgar Allan Poe might have written it while... sitting under a tree in the park. It didn't necessarily have to be a desk.

Whatever. here's another riddle.
I dig out tiny caves, and store gold and silver in them. I also build bridges of silver and make crowns of gold. They are the smallest you could imagine. Sooner or later everybody needs my help, yet many people are afraid to let me help them. Who am I?
