"Riley..." Cali sighed as she knelt down to his height and pulled him into a hug. "You just got you powers. You think me or mom or dad were any good when we got our powers? You were scared and that lady had a really big creature with her. You're going to have to practice, but the more you practice, the stronger you'll be." She told him, still hugging him tightly.

"...Mom and dad are going to be okay, right?" Riley asked for one last bit of assurance as he looked up at her and sniffled a bit.

((Like many people would remain active. In my experience things usually devolve into a 1x1 eventually, if Monster Mash, After the Fight, and now It's Never Over are any evidence. XD ))
Riley's stomach grumbled. They never did get dinner before getting attacked. "What about dinner....?"

((Well Blaze and I managed to keep 4 people going in several different rps. XP But Activity is always a problem indeed. Lol the Radish spirit...))
"I've got some leftover Chinese. Quite a bit of it actually." Falon offered, the fridge opening on its own and the food dumping itself out onto the counter.
Cali got up and went over to the food, making two plates, one for Riley and one for herself before she put them in the microwave. "Thanks." Cali muttered to Falon, glad that she could at least get her brother fed so he'd be a little less worried.

((Now I've got Spirited Away on the brain too. You have to make an rp now. Dooooo eeeeeet. Dammit, I've already got characters in mind now too....And you just said leftover Chinese because you just had it, didn't you? XD))
While Falon and Cali made dinner, Riley sat on the couch, swinging his legs while he tried to process everything that had happened that day.

"Here. Eat up and then you can get ready for bed." Cali told Riley softly as she handed him his plate. She wished she could make him stop worrying, but there really wasn't much she could do besides give him the comfort he needed and protect him, which she would always do anyway. Once she got Riley in bed, she would talk to Falon a little more seriously, since the two were just dancing around the little boy with their conversations.
