You really wouldn't call her typical
Had her own definition of cool
She lived in her own world
"Oh Ash....I just sing for fun. I'm not trained like they are." Lixini protested with a laugh. "There's no way I'd stand up to the professional singers." 
She had her own style, her own rules
She played along like it was usual
Nobody really even knew her name
To her life was one big game

Ashriel laughed. "Of course you can! It doesn't matter if you are not professionally trained! You are LIXINI!" She declared, smiling broadly at Lixini.

Lixini giggled. "Well of course I'm Lixini! I'm not exactly Alex." She said teasingly. She returned to working on Ash's toenails, determined to have them perfect.
She had her own style, her own rules

"Being goofy keeps life fun." Lixini said with a laugh. She blew gently on Ash's toenails to make sure they were dry. "There! A masterpiece!" And indeed they were. No two toes were the same with swirls, lines, circles, dots and many other designs.

She played along like it was usual

Mouse is amazing.
"Yes, yes it does." Ashriel agreed, grinning broadly. Her eyes watched her friend as she blew on her toenails, smiling. "Lix! They are amazing, as always. I wish I were good at doing nails so that I could do yours as well as you do mine!" It was true; Ash usually got polish everywhere when she was the one holding the brush.

Ashriel giggled when she heard Lixini giggle. The other girl's laughter was contagious; she was certain about that. "Are you sure? I don't destroy everything?" She asked jokingly, before looking at Lixini. Ash laughed, setting her hands on Lixini's. "Don't take them too long. I need them." She said, a small joke.

"You never destroy things." Lixini waved her off, smiling. Grasping one hand, she set to work with her files, shaping the nails perfectly. "Oh I won't keep them. What would your poor kitty do with no hands to pet him?" She asked with a laugh.

Lixini giggled quietly before continuing to work. She changed from Ashriel's left hand to her right one. "Let that dry! Don't touch anything yet!" She warned the other girl, as serious as she ever got.

"Good!" Lixini chirped. She sang to herself as she worked on Ashriel's other hand. Finally, she pronounced her work done, putting the nail polish away with a flourish. "There! Gorgeous if I do say so myself." She said with a giggle.
