It gets really annoying with how quick to anger the residents get when I inform them the cable is not working correctly in the living room. Like, there's no need to snap or yell at me about it when there's nothing I can do about it. And I can't give you an indication when it will be fixed because I'm not the one who is responsible for doing that.

I watched Lisa Frankenstein yesterday and it was so good. I had the same level of comedy as Warm Bodies, which I enjoyed it. Plus I loved the spin on the story of Frankenstein. xd

Trying to keep myself entertained during my work shift. With everything going on, I'm all caught up on all of my work tasks. whee

Apparently, the platform game set up is the new event format. stare Thank goodness I don't really care for the items, so I don't have to worry about doing it. Especially since I'm coming in towards the end of the event.

It's hard to follow a resident's conversation when none of the words they're using makes any sense or the statements have no obvious correlation between the two. Usually I'm pretty good figuring it out with some of our early dementia folks... but this resident's conversations are nothing like it. xp

I went to the local anime convention for one day yesterday and while I have a good, relaxing time, I'm seriously considering the possibility of not attending next year. I feel like I'm so out of loop on current anime (and video game) series, so there's a lot of franchises I have no knowledge about. This makes it hard for some of the cosplay skits because I don't understand what they are referring to with their performance.
Also... it's hard to have a good time when you have no friends to hang out with. Especially when they have events they are planning on attending that you aren't going to because it conflicts with one you are going to yourself.
I guess I'll just see when next year's dates are... and if there's any celebrity I really want to see or if I'll just focus on other cons going on that I can catch my friends at.

Sometimes I swear they make remotes so fancy that it ends up being more complicated than they should be. We got a new TV for the living room at work and I've been slowly having to learn the remote that it came with. I was having such a hard time figuring out how the volume/channel buttons worked. Turns out the buttons are not ones you push on one end or another, instead you toggle them forward or backward to turn up or down. whee I wouldn't have thought of that until I looked up the remote online and watched a video.

It's been awhile since I've logged in and just in time since the 12 Days of XMas have started here. Though I'm a bit disappointed as it looks like it's just going to be a recolor of a past set (the 12 Days bubble emotes).
