Ashriel shook her head, pouting. "We're having fun now, aren't we?" She asked, looking at her energetic friend. Of course, Lixini was all too correct - not that Ashriel would ever realize that.

Ashriel sighed. It had been the day before her eighteenth birthday - that was the last time she gave any heart to it. "Right before I turned eighteen." She answered, taking Lixini's question literally. Ash was nineteen now...that meant it had a full year, and a lot had happened in that year.

Ashriel smiled when Lixini was easily distracted. To be honest, she was glad for her friend's small attention span. "Yes, yes it is." She agreed with a small laugh. "So, where should I start? Toenails or fingernails?" She questioned, glad that she'd managed to get Lixini off her other subject.
