Ashriel smiled at her friend, glad that she'd managed to distract her. Now what was she going to do? She wasn't sure. She looked at Lixini quietly, smiling. The other girl had a nice voice - Ash enjoyed listening to her.

Ashriel grinned as she finished Lixini's fingernails, the painting rather messy. But that was typical of Ashriel's attempts. "I'm sure they'll be great." She answered, moving on to Lixini's toes.

Ashriel flushed as Lixini complimented her. She didn't think she was all too much better, not at all.
