Lord Setar Askeptykal Lord Setar Sorry, I forgot, we're supposed to respect all the little kiddies who can't take swearing. ...that rule is awful, seriously -_- I wouldn't call it a rule... I'd go more along the lines of "common decency" or something like that. ...yeah, that does sound pretty lame. To hell with common decency. If I'm pissed, I curse. I expect you to deal with it, not cry. And Rethion, "no cursing" makes the site PG, not PG-13. There is plenty of cursing in PG-13 movies. "No cursing" basically degrades the site to the level of little kids. Plus, there's a huge grey area on cursing - some people consider "Jesus!" and "Goddamn" and "damn" to be cursing, yet they're allowed to say "damn" in the Harry Potter books =/ At the least, let's hold back some of the harsher ones, like the f-bomb. I can't see how that would be needed that badly anyway.

I recently saw a PG-13 movie that had sex in it, but it didn't go full out. As long as we dont go major on it I don't see the harm, really, I don't. There is a movie that is rated R because the f-bomb is used about three times, and there is a romantic scene, but they show no sex. They way movies are rated makes very little sense.

JIMMY CRACKED CORN AND I CARE BECAUSE IT WAS MINE.
Gaia's content limit is pg-13. A guy at school got banned for 14 days for posting the pic on maddox's website that had a drawing of a nad. which is not even pg-13. I mean come on, they start Sex ed in elementery school... I'll admit that gaia is pretty laid back when it comes to language.

R there is not the same here. Your R is equivalent to our 18A, and besides, we rate less harshly because the parents aren't so stupid. Lots of cursing but no exposure still only warrants a 14A (your PG-13). In Canada, our R is what you call NC-17, or in the past, "Rated X"

It's just that it's sort of disrespectful for a guild to be swarming with major profanity, and it's easier to keep it down while it's not a problem then it is to try to remove when it does become a problem.
