Ashriel paused to look about again. "No, I don't see any signs..." She said before squealing. The man had suddenly grabbed her, making her drop her phone. Luckily, she'd accidentally hit the speaker button as she had. "Raevyn!" She exclaimed as the man shoved her down to the ground, using one hand to hold her down and the other to rummage through his pocket for something. He wasn't bright enough, apparently, to hang up Ash's cell phone.

Ashriel widened her eyes, thankful as she heard Raevyn's voice in her head. She bit the man's arm, and he quit rummaging through his pockets long enough to smack her across the face. He then held his arm in a way she still couldn't get away, but she couldn't bite him any more as he dug through his pockets. After several moments, his fingers came out with a pill. Ash smashed her mouth closed, not knowing what it could be. What if it was poison? She wished she could send Raevyn back a message as she focused on Raevyn, trying to keep the man from getting the thing in her mouth. Raevyn...hurry... She hoped he could hear her, but she doubted it, no matter how hard she'd tried. Her head turned back and forth to delay the man.

The man looked up at the sound of the snarl, still holding the pill. He seemed confused upon seeing the panther, shaking his head. To him, this seemed to be just an illusion. He went back to trying to shove the pill in Ashriel's mouth. Ashriel was extremely thankful when she heard Raevyn's snarl. She actually began struggling more, trying harder to get the man off of her.

Ashriel scrambled away as Raevyn knocked the man away from her. She couldn't help but watch as the man stared at Raevyn in pure horror, scared of what he would do. Ash fell her stomach churn at what Raevyn was acting like...it scared her. She found her way back onto her feet, taking deep breaths as she looked at Raevyn. Part of her wished she was like the Were's, that she could plant thoughts into his head. Still, she wasn't, and she hoped he would listen to very softly spoken words. "D-d-don't...k-k-kill him." She said very quietly, not sure if even Raevyn, with his great hearing, could hear.

Ashriel watched Raevyn carefully, hoping he had heard. Her heart beat quickly as she watched him down at the man's neck. Was...was he still going to kill the man? Her eyes shut for the moment as she had saw him swat at the man. Part of her was afraid that he was killing the man. Even if the man had attacked her, she still didn't think he deserved to die. When she opened her eyes again, she was relieved to see the man was still alive. Her eyes looked softly down at Raevyn as the man ran away, frightened half to death. "Thank you..." She said softly as she pet him.

Ashriel looked at Raevyn for a moment when he changed. The young girl was mute as she took a deep breath, looking at Raevyn. "I-it's f-fine." She said, stuttering a little as she tried to figure out what the man had been trying. At that point, she remembered, taking a deep breath. "He...he was the same guy..." She said softly, remembering those days after she had been kicked out.
