The lines were building up at Raidenburg's rather spacious, open roof stadium and poor Raji was beginning to feel like he wasn't going to be able to get in. He had been waiting for the "Rookie Rumble" to finally come to town so that he could see them and hear them for himself. For too long, he and his family sat at home watching the most recent concert on television, unable to make it to where it was due to funds and lack of transportation. Since then he vowed that he would go to one of their concerts, besides it was the one and only Top Chart Music Group, "Rookie Rumble" and their number one hit, 5,4,3,2,1 DIGIVOLVE that inspired him to become the tamer that he was now.
The worst part about this predicament was that the large lines were from people streaming to by their tickets at the door due to a severe case of procrastination. That and the fact that this bad made a last minute decision to come to Raji's town because of a later that one boy wrote to them explaining they were such a influence to him and that his only wish was to see them live in concert at this very town. Bet you can't guess who that little boy was... yep, it was Raji who wrote the letter and received a pair of tickets for himself and one other to see them live in concert this very night. Yep, Raji nearly jumped out of his cat suit when he received a response to his letter and then heard it being read one morning over the radio. He was shocked to hear that he alone had convinced the mighty band, loved by humans and digimon alike, to journey away and stray from their preset tour plan to see this town and perform. Shocked and speechless he was then, discouraged and furious he is now.
Just when Raji was about to give up and allow the crowd to was him away, he began to hear song lyrics over the cries of the crowd...

Raji scanned over the crowd, wondering where the music was coming from. He then dropped his eyes down to his D-tector that was ringing. It was his best friend, Chris, calling him. Chris Shadowheart was likewise fan of Rookie Rumble and Raji's other ticket owner. 'Chris must already be here and is probably wondering where I am. he thought as he pressed the answer button.
"RAJI WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU!!! The show is going to start until you get here!"
"Really?! Who said that?" while he was talking, he was completely oblivious to the fact that he was slowly being pushed to the back of the crowd.
"Their manager, he just made an announcement over the mic a few moments ago. Everyone is going insane, where are you?"
Raji was feeling teary eyed from how special he felt until he looked up and realized that he was in the very far back. "Ow MAN!!!" he cried in anguish.
"What is it?"
"Tell... tell them to go ahead and start without me... there is no way that I'll be able to get in there in time. No point in me being selfish, more than just me want to see them in concert... I'm done fitting..." tears began to fall and hit the screen as he revealed his revelation.
"Raji..." the image of Chris's head, on the digivice, looked around for a second until an idea came to mind. "They said you're the guest of honor, so why not enter in style."
"Wha- what?"
"I said, move to the very back, you're about to be picked up."
Raji was a little confused by what Chris meant, but figured that it would be best that he not to question Chris and his crazy ideas. With a slight nod, Raji moved to the middle of the road and looked around. Moments later a Birdramon erupted from the stadium and came gliding to where Raji was. There was a boy sitting on the bird's leg, it was Chris... Chris and his own digimon, Skylar. The giant bird flew toward Raji and then came to a landing, causing the crowds to part like never before.
Keeping his constant wing speed, Skylar fluttered mere inches from the ground and Chris stretched his arm to Raji, "Ah... Mister Raji, your carriage awaits and the show is about to begin in your honor." the boy said in a British accent.
"CHRIS?! You..." he sniffed for a moment before taking Chris's hand, "Thank you for this, you're a great friend."
After taking his hand, Chris signaled for Skylar to take off at top speed. The digimon nodded and flew faster than usual, taking them back into the stadium and then to the center where the stage was.
"Chris? Why are we going to the stage? We have designated seats on the front row!" Raji was confused now, sure Chris was good at getting things done, but sometimes he had a habit of overdoing stuff.
"Look around Raji, these are our seats, right here on stage!"
Coming to a landing on the stage, Chris jumped off and offered his hand to Raji, who was attaching himself to birdramon's leg, shaking his head in confusion. Chris gave him a frown and then nodded at Skylar, signaling for the bird to dedigivolve. Within that time, Skylar began to glow and reverted to his rookie form, Biyomon. Now with nothing left to cling to, Raji dropped to the stage. A shady figure jumped from the stage and caught Raji in the air, landing on the ground below. Raji looked up to see that he was caught by the lead drummer, Gabumon.
"Are you Raji Zuko? If so, we're so glad you could make it." He said with a big grin.
Raji was rather speechless at the moment, in spoke as he looked into the eyes of his favorite member of the band. "ye... yes." he managed to squeak.
"Great... then that means we can start!" Over joyed, Gabumon sat Raji down and ran up on stage where the other members were already in position. "Alright he's here!! LET'S HIT IT!!! Gabumon rose his sticks and clanged them together. "5,6, 5,6,7,8!!!"
Starting up the beat, the band began to play, sending the crowd into an uproar. Chris moved close to Raji and threw his arm over the boy's shoulder. He whispered something in Raji's ear that made the boy's eyes widen. Biyomon was also there dancing along to the beat, rejuvenated by the music and its catchy rhythm. It was the best night of Raji's life and he wished it would never end...
