Beh, but I can always rearrange the chains based off of what I have... if I DO get some bird or something, I can always attach that to Akatorimon and Airdramon to Gigadramon or something...

You could get there via item or by getting one from a contest, then just mutate away to something you like. That would require patience though.

and I dont like the overpopulization and strength of dragons. No mattr what series it is, people go crazy for the dragons, and they are almost always made the most powerful of said series. So I go for the things less used.

Hah! That seems not to be the case with Digimon... while it may be the case in things like Pokemon, there's no doubt of that, but no, in Digimon... the royal knights/demon lords/angelic shtuff seems to reign supreme in popularity... am I wrong....?

To me, some of the dragons are quite a bit lesser in the popularity...

As far as the Rainbowhorn goes... I've been waiting patiently for a chance to get that... yet to see but a one... it'd be neat if there was a shop or something for such items, like in DW1... or at least relatively-frequent contests for them...

Beh, having to rely on luck can be frustrating... It's good that there are alternative ways to win the prizes though... unlike some other places or organizations I could mention, bahah. Anyway I'm choosing to rely on luck so I can't really complain.

And yes those are all groups of favored digimon, but there are also the four great dragons, and then Augumon's ine, guilmon's line, The upper stages of Aguinimon, Veedramon's line, shoutmon's line and the new one from the new season. Every lead character goes with a dragon who all have some sort of humanoid dragon based warrior high level stage. So the demon lords, are very favored as well as the angels. And the knights are favored, (even if many have a dragonic base) but there are many famous dragon digimon. And notice almost no weak dragon digimon. then look at beast digimon, about half really powerful, half abandoned. aqua digimon aside from seadramon's line are all pretty weak. stuff like that.

Then again, I suppose in truth, I dont like the demon lords, or the great angels, nor many of the other more popular groups.

...so far as I can tell there's not much basis for how strong or weak Digimon are, outside of the constantly-shifting metagames of each of the games themselves... I have my own speculations, of course, as does everyone... Yes, historically dragonish or dinosaur Digimon tend to be pretty strong, as well as the stereotypical partner for every season's lead, there's no doubt of that... s'just part of the series, I guess, but the other groups still get their representation...
