Raevyn nodded out of habit, though Lucian couldn't see him. "I was already planning on it. They're getting braver with each attempt." He said in a low voice, not really wanting to alert Ashriel. He knew she would likely worry too much about something he and Lucian could easily handle.

Mouse is amazing.

Lucian nodded as well, purely out of habit. "Alright then. Hey. I should be there in just a couple minutes." He said into the phone, and Jennalin's voice could be heard in the background, complaining about something. Ashriel looked at Raevyn curiously when he lowered her voice. She did not pay any attention to that, though, as she continued to munch down on her food.

See, that wasn't so bad, was it?

"See you then." Raevyn said and hung up. He looked to Ashriel and smiled. "Jennalin and Lucian are on their way over." He told her, figuring she would want to see her friend. "They just want to make sure we're okay. I told them we're fine." He said with a shrug, tucking the phone away.

Ashriel grinned when she heard Raevyn's words. "Jennalin's back?" Of course, with all the chaos yesterday, she had not known that Jennalin came back that day. The girl seemed rather excited, and she ate even more rapidly so she would be done by the time Jennalin got there.

Raevyn blinked in surprise. "Yeah. Didn't I tell you?" He thought for a second, then shrugged as he realized ti had gotten forgotten in all of the excitement of yesterday. "Anyways, she got back yesterday. She wanted to come over yesterday but I said you were a little shaken. So now that you're calm, I gave her the okay to come over." He explained easily.

Ashriel grinned exuberantly, eating as fast as she could. Of course, with Ashriel's luck, she began to choke on a piece of her breakfast, even as she tried to eat.

Raevyn instantly looked worried and moved to her side, rubbing her back. "Hey, hey. Slow down, alright? Calm down. Relax.....Try and relax." He spoke to her soothingly. He knew that a lot of times, choking could be eased by simply relaxing the throat and swallowing. "Calm down and try swallowing. Take it easy." He coaxed her.

Ashriel relaxed as she heard his voice, managing to swallow when he asked her to try again. "I'm sorry, I am just so excited!" She said, not eating any more. Sure, she was not exactly full, but she did not want to end up choking again.

Raevyn calmed down, relieved as she stopped choking. Now that the danger was past, he could laugh about it. "I know. But choking yourself doesn't make her get here any faster." He said with a small laugh. He began cutting her food up into tiny bites, holding one bite up to her. "Here. Eat slowly and remember to chew. Then you'll be okay." He told her with a smile.

Ashriel laughed, taking a bite of the smaller cut food. "I feel like a child." She remarked quietly as she looked at Raevyn, eating much slower. Only a few moments after her comment, a knock came on the door, and their phones began to ring. Ashriel stopped eating altogether at that point, moving to get up to get the door. She was too excited to keep eating.

Raevyn chuckled but didn't answer. He merely fed her. When the doorbell rang, he smiled and gave up. He rose to his feet, walking behind her calmly. He let her open the door, knowing Jenalin would likely "attack" her friend with a hug. He stood in a relaxed position, just watching and smiling.

Ashriel opened the door only to have Jennalin hug her suddenly. She hugged her friend back as Lucian watched around them warily, trying to figure out a way to get them inside faster. His eyes looked at Raevyn, hoping the other male might be able to get the hugging fest to at least move inside.

Raevyn smirked, seeing his suspicions proved right. He began pulling gently on the back of Ashriel's shirt, subtly forcing her to step back or fall back. He was ready to catch her though, should she ignore the pull and end up falling. He shared Lucian's urge to get them inside and safe.
