YCQ invader Celestial_Tenchi flys.... I have 2 dogs... but i used to spend time with a lady who basically ran a shelter out of her house... i played with the cats a lot, and i could walk through the house and tell you every surrendered cats name and age, every stray cats name (they got names as they showed their personality) and how long it had been there, and i could tell you who came from whose litter (as we often had cats who had gotten pregnant or came in with their litter, or a family couldn't take car of the litter and couldn't find homes for them)... the lady who ran it was an artist as well, i remember she would paint a picture of each cat... and when the cat found a home, they got the painting if they wanted it... ....and sings softly as she soars

I don't think I could have many dogs, I'm a cat person more than a dog person.

Awww that's sweet!
I'm more partial to cats, but I still do want a dog. And all of our cats were rescues. Luna was in the middle of the road, and we went right over the top of her. We took her home and her eyes, God! They were terrible. They were nothing but pus pockets. We werent' sure she had eyes for a week or so.

I like both cats and dogs, but I'm only able to live with dogs. For some reason, they don't set off my allergies, but cats do. It's not the shedding thing cause Siamese cats set me off but giant shedding lab/mastiff crosses don't. Though when I say giant, I meant it. When both the dog and me are sitting, we look each other in the eye.

I don't know. I've met some really huggable/playful cats. Usually ones that are raised around humans their whole life. Kind humans. But yes, in general that is true. What kind of dogs do you guys have?

Oh, I'd still never say no to a good dog, but if I had to pick, I'd have to go with a cat. Dogs really need attention, cats sometimes want it. all of my uncles cats are quite sweet, so, that might have created a slightly biased opinion. (his dog was great too, but one dog as opposed to 7 cats...)

If I were to get a dog I would probably go for a husky. I love them to death! Or a german shepard, they're cool too. But I'd want a pure black one.
