....actually, I've been sort of working out my own system to that end. rofl Though at the moment it's primarily speculation as far as stats and stuff go... My aim is to recreate the stat system for more complex use with all the currently-existing digimon...

...but to what end? Will I make a game out of it? Run my own RP guild? I don't even know what purpose it would serve, and I know myself well enough to know that I lack the motivation to keep it running... @__@

Smogon is a bit much for me. there is a level where you enjoy pokemon, and there is smogon. It taks it to a level beyond where I could personally enjoy Pokemon. I dont use it, but hell, I play pokemon to catch all of them. Thats it. I just want them all sitting in my inbox. I could care less about EV's Iv's, and any other technical difficulties of these pokemon. I just like getting them, I leave the raising to other people.

Heh, I've tried to join the forums of the DMA Digidex to contribute my ideas there, but they seem to be refusing to let me join.... Apparently they think I'm a bot or something, LOL... How infuriating...

so that's sort of my excuse as to why I burn so much energy waving my own digivolution chains around in people's faces here, haha... rofl Not that it's a good reason or anything, I know it isn't.

I agree Smogon is pretty hardcore... I normally stay out of it, to that end, and I don't always agree with their tiering decisions... (IE, banning Salamence in Gen 4) Though I do respect the dedication they have to the game, and both the basic and advanced strategy I've learned from it... Ironically they also taught me to appreciate gimmick sets for Pokemon, despite their apparent dislike of them, heh

I do think the CAP project is a really neat idea though, even if it's something I wouldn't want to be involved in all the time. As is the Anime-style Battling RP business, which they put a lot of time into the maintainence and improvement of... (it's basically like DnD but with Pokemon, so far as I can explain it. I'd love that with Digimon, hehe)

It's basically a waste of time either way. Everything we're discussing and doing is right now, really (so far as the conversatio n and Gaia is concerned; I make no claims to knowing what anyone else is doing IRL).

I just hope I do find something to do with the pointless information I'm cataloguing.... it'd be nice not to have wasted time and brain cells on it. x___@ But ehh, it's my own potentially-poor choice.

LOL I couldn't sell it to Bandai, I'd be literally selling them their own creation back. xD However minorly-repackaged. Plus, Bandai or whoever is in charge of Digimon's localization hates us american kids LOL. Haven't you noticed that we only got like half of the Digimon games and devices ever released, if that?
