Van smiled softly as he saw that weary look on her face, giving her a gentle kiss on the cheek good night as he cuddled up and made one last scaled coil around her before drifting off to sleep.

"Uuuurgh...." Van groaned slightly as he awoke the next morning. He wanted to stretch out, but it felt like his body wasn't doing what he wanted and instead wound up tightening his coiled grip around Mala slightly. 'Right, no legs....' he thought with a sigh as the previous day's events came back to him and slowly began unwinding himself from Mala.

Mala had been awake for awhile now, but remained relaxed and with her eyes closed. Clearly, she did not want to wake up just yet. She wanted to just lay in that nice, warm bed instead...

Van sighed, grudgingly climbing over Mala and slipping onto the floor. He needed to stretch out and the bed just wasn't big enough. As nice as it was curling up around Mala and keeping her close all throughout the night, he quickly found out that staying coiled up like that for too long brought some very nasty tail cramps.

Mala sighed softly and sat herself up, realising that she wouldn't be able to stay in bed much longer. "Goodmorning." she murmured softly, rubbing her eyes gently as she tried to fully wake up.

"Morning." Van said with a small smile as he slithered up to the edge of the bed to give her a good morning kiss. "I hope I didn't wake you up." he said, having assumed she was asleep the whole time.

And yes, I fully intend to have her refer to her masters as 'His Evilness', 'Your Vilenessness', and the like. xd ))
"I don't blame you, it's been a while since we last got to sleep in our own bed." Van said with a slight chuckle. "I just had to get up and stretch a bit. Staying coiled up like that for so long gave me tail cramps. And those things suck when half your body is tail."

((Sorry, I keep forgetting to warn you, I have DnD saturdays now, so that's why I'm not on for most of the day. sweatdrop ))
"I know, though I'm fine for now. Like I said, I just need to stretch out and get moving a bit. Anything else, I'll gladly let you know." Van said as he folded his arms and rested them and his chin on the edge of the bed while he smiled up at Mala.

"Good." Mala said, smiling at Van now. After just a moment of gazing between the two, the distant screams and cries of terror could faintly be heard off in the direction of Jaquel's old domain.
