Because some is of your preference and something else is not, it does not mean that one is of more value than the other.

Removing his sunglasses, Pullo began to speak.
"Hentai FTW! Especially yuri. THERE'S NOTHING WRONE WITH BEING A PERVERT! IT'S PERFECTLY NATURAL, GUYS! *cries* D: "
He then turned and walked away, hoping he looked really damn cool.

yuri heart it's a shame there is so much dislike for healthy lesbian relationships. some of of the best yuri i read was josei, moonlight and midnight flowers. i love the purity and sincerity found in such a relationship. i've read shounen and seinen yuri too, and they were pretty good.
i hate what happens to female characters in anime when most of them are in hetero relationships, so i try to avoid it.
i'm not quite sure i grasp the appeal of graphic male/male. i've read the mild loveless, and liked natsuo/yoji and soubi/ritsuka, but yamato and kouya were still my favorite couple b/c they were the most passionate. i do read slash every now and then, but even then i prefer femslash.
but i wouldn't dare put them on my shelves sweatdrop ~
i like gore/guru on my shelves than those rofl ~
@ Harlot Queen we both share the idea about yuri and yaoi 3nodding ~
i really don't like yaoi nor the idea or image of it gonk ~

@Mayura lol, i've bought some myself, but now i just read online b/c it's cheaper, and easier to find. i went NYAF/NYCC, but all they had was yaoi booths... and i thought, hey, i might as well read that online too.
i'll be honest though i've never read bara, so i can't give my opinion on it. it's nice to see another yuri fan in the guild heart
