((Sorry for the delay. Couldnt get to my computer til last night, then the thunderstorms killed my power... so i can FINALLY post now.))

Michael leaned back in his chair, putting his feet up. It felt great being dressed completely casual, and being able to stretch out like he was. It was fantastic. The man next to him, who he'd been talking business with for the past hour, finally stood, stating he was going to go have a meal with his wife. Something like that. Mike nodded. "Alright. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you. If theres ever an opportunity for us to get some business going between us, we can get together to discuss it some more." The man nodded, giving a small wave becore walking away.

He slipped a pair of gaudy sunglasses over his own wireframe perscriptions. Business was fun, for him anyway, but this was a cruise. And he'd be damned if he wasn't going to relax and escape. Hed instructed his father in what to do in regards to his portfolio. He could unwind, knowing all was good. He lifted his sunglasses at the sight of some distant, though mean looking clouds. What made it more noticeable was the captain's announcement. He checked his watch, shrugging. "Its five o clock somewhere, i suppose..." he was only 19, but from his experience, he could sometimes nab at least a glass of wine. He rose, heading for the inner part of the ship, hoping to either find something to occupy himself once the rain picked up, or try to acquire said beverage.

"We'll settle this bet tomorrow, Con. Don't you forget." Albert laughed as he shook hands with the man he'd been playing shuffle board with for the past few hours. That man grabbed his wife's hand and the whole of the shuffle deck cleared away in a manner that was much quicker than he expected. Guess they'll turn into mush if a bit of water hits them...

He made his way down the deck as the captain chattered on about safety and helped himself to another look at the clouds. Definitely able to hurt someone then, water, good on you. He slipped into the ship, pretty sure he was in the dance hall, and cut through a restaurant brimming with early birds to get to a sheltered hallway. He checked one of the ship maps on the wall, trying to place himself. It's only three-thirty in the afternoon, I could always find a game of pool.

Once the Captain announced it, Leo noticed the clouds. They seemed so far off though, they couldn't possibly hit them if the ship just changed course slightly. He set to work reassembling his phone, before he head off inside. He guessed this meant he got a to spend a lovely hour or two his his parents and sisters just as they had all gotten sick of each other. He wondered if it was too late for the lunch buffet, or too early for the dinner one. Finishing up the reassembly he decided it couldn't hurt to check the buffet, so he turned to walk and headed off, and didn't noticed the clouds seem to be speed up behind him.

Sara found the lounge, happy with what she saw. It was a large room that looked a bit like a library, but was mostly filled with comfy chairs and couches. But the best part was that there were only a few people here, all of them looking at their individual books. She found a chair off to the side and curled up happily, reading. After a bit of reading she heard the steady drizzle of rain and paused to listen. Seemed like it wasn't too extreme, the Captain probably just didn't want anyone to slip off the wet deck and go into the water. She continued reading, not noticing as it got steadily and steadily harder.

"Captain, I see lightening off in the distance. And the wind is beginning to create large waves about 5 miles out from us." A young man explained as the Captain stared off. There was suppose to be no storms, there weren't even any sort of swells or anything in their path. It was suppose to be all clear. And yet here they were, with a large storm approaching. It was so large that it should have been detected before they even left port.

"I want you to inform all the staff that they are to review the escape plans privately. I want you to inform them that it is simply just in case, that we most likely will just receive some rain." The Captain said, messing with some of the controls he had. He remembered the days when you controlled everything yourself, now so much of it was computerized. Much more complicated if you wanted to be honest. "Also, check out the boats and make sure the supply of life vests are what they're suppose to be."

The young man nodded, quickly walking off to fulfill the duties given to him. The Captain began to send out calls. He was doubtful that they would get out of this completely unharmed.

Amber was in her room, putting some actual clothes on now that everyone was told to go inside. She was on the cruise for a photo shoot, for work. The
only plus side was actually being on the cruise, even if she preferred to stay in the city. However, work was work. She sighed, hearing a loud knock on
her door. "Yes?" She zipped up her denim shorts before rolling her eyes to even more loud knocking.

She went over to the door and pulled it open. "What is it?"

Her manager just walked right in without an invitation, making Amber roll her eyes even more. "What are you wearing~? Get dressed, work isn't over
yet~."
Amber sighed and held onto her face softly as her manager laid a sparkling dress on her bed and went to pull out some shoes. "Now that we
can't take pictures outside, it's time to take pictures inside."

"Can't I have a break? I've been out there, not even breaking a sweat."

"That's good, hunny, because there are no breaks until the shoot is finished."
Her manager left the tall shoes by the bed and went to the door. "Now
get dressed, see you in a few minutes."
Amber's manager gave a 'sweet' smile and left the room, shutting the door, leaving Amber to roll her eyes and
pulled off her clothes again. She looked outside her little window at the rain that began to pour before sighing and pulling on the dress and shoes, walking
out of the room towards her destination.

Leo walked in to see the last of the buffet serving dishes cleared away, and only a few people milling around waiting out the rain, definitely too late for lunch. And seeing the waiters and some of the chefs just sitting around the tables, dinner wouldn't be served any time soon. The rain started coming down harder outside. Going back to his cabin wouldn't be too much fun, at least no more so then sitting here, Leo decided to take another look at his phone, taking in a few words the staff was saying now and then, normally choice words about each other or the captain.

"Shouldn't we be getting to work soon?"
"Why bother no one is gonna be brave enough to leave their cabins to come eat."
"Captain said we'll be leaving the storm behind soon enough. They'll come eat then"
"Captain also said there wouldn't be a storm, and then he said we wouldn't hit it anyway, don't hold your breath enjoy the break we don't get enough of them."
"The captain know's what he's doing"
"Ha! Now that's a laugh, the captain doesn't even know how to steer the ship anymore, it does it all on it's own"

Then there was a flash follow very closely by thunder. The bolt had landed near the ship.

"See mate? We're not leaving the storm just paddling alongside it"

Sitting where she was, getting her hair and make up done, Amber's eyes adverted from the staffs in the mirror to the camera crew and the fashion
designer that was also on the cruise.

"Melinda, are we safe?"

Amber quirked a brow up at her manager who paused on the phone, complaining about how she can't understand the other end of the
conversation. "I'll call you back." She hung up without another word and laughed at Amber. "What are you talking about, Sweetie, everything's
going to be alright. The Captain said so, why would he be wrong? Now quit frowning at me, you're going to get wrinkles between your eyebrows."
Amber's expression dropped to a stoic one as her manager walked off to check the setting. "Everything's perfect, nearly empty room means nearly
no interruptions and no distractions! Thank God!"

Amber turned her head away and chuckled quietly to herself. "Wait until I fire you~" She took a deep breath from her nostrils before staring back
into the mirror, keeping an eye on the young boy with green hair. Or, at least he seemed younger than Amber of course.

Michael made a small scene, (well, to him and the bartender it was) stomping away from the bar. "It's a cruise boat. Who cares if i have ONE drink...?" he shrugged it off. it didn't really bother him too much, but it was kind of fun to break his usual decorum, even if as a joke. it was a longshot to begin with, so he wasn't too disappointed.he pulled out his phone. he had very minor service, but not much he could do other than maybe text someone a few times. and he really had no use for that right now. he checked out a window. it was starting to rain quite a bit. he'd definitely be inside for a while. he started to wander, looking for somewhere to wait around for a while.

And thus, he came across one of the lounges. he shrugged. it would be much more fun to hang about inside a lounge than it would have been to hang around in his room. he strolled in, taking in the inside. It was rather empty. This was good. it would have been unfortunate to have to deal with large scores of people. he found a chair, sitting down, and pulling a book from a messenger bag he had on his shoulder. he adjusted his glasses, and glanced around first, seeing who was near him, before leaning back to relax.

"Beautiful. Perfect. Absolutely gorgeous. Now look this way! Look this way! Sexy! Ooh, elegant." The light flashed in almost every single corner as
Amber sat at a dining table set up for the shoot, changing her pose and actions quickly, playing with the dining utensils and cups. She even did a
'cheers' and the tapping the glass with a spoon thing, smiling elegantly or smirking with mischief. Thunder roared outside the ship, causing Amber to
turn her head towards the window, light flashed and the camera snapped a shot. "Beautiful!"

The ship tipped to the side a little bit, causing Amber to hold onto the table for balance and the photo shoot crew waving around for balance as well,
grabbing onto their equipment in case of damage. "What was that?" The designer stared up to the chandelier on the ceiling, watching it settle down
before fixing his glasses.

"Just a small wave..." Amber looked around, speaking quietly before turning her head to the window closest to her. "...I think..."

Sara's heart beat faster as she felt the boat tip a bit, her seat scooting a little to the side. There was so must lightening, she felt cause to worry. She stood from her chair once the ship had settled, ignoring the nervous discussion that the few other people in the lounge were having, and walked quickly out of the room while holding her book tightly to her chest. She need to find her parents. She knew they would be just as helpless as her concerning the certain conversation, but there was always something soothing about parents. It still seemed sometimes that they could fix everything.

But where could they be? They weren't in their room and she couldn't imagine where else they could be. She stopped walking, staring at the floor. They were probably searching for her too, oh this was so useless. Sara gasped as the boat tilted again, this one must stronger than the last as she fell against the wall. There was a long creak as the boat seemed to stay tilted for the longest time and she was afraid they were going to flip. But soon the boat crashed down onto the water, causing her to fall to the floor. They were safe for now.

There was a loud beeping sound where the Captain was and he looked over at a electronic diagram of the ship. The most bottom part of the ship, was flashing red. There was a leak. "Go down and see if the leak can be fixed." He ordered to some of the staff near him. If the leak could not be fixed, they would sink. They would have to evacuate, and with this storm it would be unlikely that many would survive in the small life boats.

As the ship made a large tip for the longest time and finally crashed down, Amber unstrapped her heels and got up from holding the table. She wrapped
the sharp dining utensils in the handkerchief and, with her shoes, began walking about from the scene.

"Where do you think you're going? The shoot's not over yet!"

Amber stopped in placed and took in a deep breath through her nostrils before turning to Melinda. "You were supposed to look for a job, not risk
my life!"
I did not run off to become a model and die as one after three years... Amber could just imagine what her mother would say to her. That
she was right and Amber was wrong. "If any of you were in the right mind, you'd be cleaning up your equipment and putting them away!" Amber
began to storm off, pulling out her hair.

"I found you a job, Honey, and now you're going to risk it by walking away. After all that I've done for you, it's never enough!" Amber stopped in her
tracks, hearing such familiar words from her mother. "It's like the more I give, the more you want! Models, they think they own the world."

"You're fired!" Amber turned and threw the shoes on the ground. Thunder roared as the ship shifted. "Now find somewhere safe to be..."
Amber gave them a long and hard stare of disapproval before turning to walk off again.

"Hakuna matata, Darling~!"

"Hakuna matata, my foot."
Amber grumbled as she made her way towards her room quickly, doing her best to keep her balance in the wavering
boat.

Just that long tip seemed to have scared almost everyone. There were children in the hall, screaming and crying and adults trying to reach people
with phones and other teenagers complaining about how their text messages weren't going through!

The hall just seem to fill up more and more, causing a clutter as Amber tried to make her way through the current of people. After getting past them, she
felt relieved as though she could breathe again. "Ahh!" Amber fell to the wall, holding onto her foot, accidentally glaring down at a young child,
who stared back up at her, crying. "You! Where are your parents?!" The child, scared, ran off, making Amber frown and continue her way to
her room as the boat kept shifting to the waves that felt more and more powerful.

She got inside and frantically searched for some clothes, pulling whatever seemed suitable at the time, pulling off the stupid dress. If she had to be
honest, even she was scared and afraid. She didn't know how to swim, at all, and dying in the middle of the ocean seemed like the only thing possible right
now. The ship seemed settled right now...but what about later...? Or even in just a minute. Amber pulled up the shorts and stared out her window to the
raging waters out side, frowning. Her heart pulsed quickly before she shook her head, trying not to imagine drowning out here before she pulled her shirt
on.

When the ship started tilting Leo started running. He needed to go to find his parents and sister he needed to get to their cabin. The staff had taken off a little before him when another staff member called them away, he wasn't paying attention but one of them had mentioned lifeboats. Once he got to the hallways he saw plenty of people doing the same as him, everyone was trying find a safe little place to be in right now. The smaller children in the wall were tearing up and begging their parents to make it all stop, the smallest were just wailing. Leo almost barreled over an older couple as he turned a corner, but he kept moving, a little slower with so many people around. Rather deep in the ship but the thunder could still be heard, reverberating in the walls. He still had a quarter of the ship to run through and had another deck to go down before he made it to his cabin.

(Just rocking the boat, rock, rock, rock, rock.)

Amber emptied out her closet and stuffed herself in there, that way she wouldn't have to slide all over her room the whole time.
