orlando18 tiggymewmew orlando18 just saw ur sig married in real life and you want to waste it on a spaceship, if i was your wife i beat ur assjust for thinking it! stare Just because a person gets married doesn't mean that that person should give up all of their hobbies. There isn't a time limit on liking something. I mean of course when you are married you have to budget for insurance, housing, cars, children (if they are or will be in the picture), groceries, retirement and what not. I mean it's wonderful to spend your money on your significant other but it shouldn't be a requirement. There's probably something wrong with your relationship if you require monetary gifts as proof of love. Get a life rolleyes I've got one and it's great thanks! wink

You clearly want them. It works out to about a $1.50 a day. Cut out a cup of coffee or something. Sometimes you have to get things just because you want them. Otherwise, what's the point?

guess that would depend on your budget and if you have space to display all the model ships that would get shipped to you; also if you don't mind dusting or eventual clutter >>; 3nodding

And Item 2) I have a car. But thanks for the amusing replies! xd smile lol ur welcome glad to make someone laugh today, btw how big will the space ship be? I'm not sure. They didn't seem to specify the size online. I figure if I'm disappointed with the inital $5 ship, I can cancel right away.

Wendy Day Scientifically, people get more happiness spending their money on things to do than on things to own. You should spend that money on a comicon, star trek play, or something like that. Actually, my mom and I are going to the 50th anniversary Star Trek con in Las Vegas this August! I'm sooo stoked. Also gonna need to have a budget for the trip cuz I'm betting there'll be a ton of vendors. surprised

As much as I like collecting, I would save up the money for fan conventions or similar events because all the like minded people you get to meet and more unique items up for sale.

Dont have much input on the money thing (it seems long past anyways =P)
But that Valdore is smexxxyyyy.. but all the shuttles seem super well done, even more detailed then the ships themselves at least in the pictures they post.

A little neat thing I do for when I want to buy stuff like that online is wait. I:
I give myself anywhere from a week to 2, if I still feel like I absolutely MUST purchase, I do it. Simple.
Not because I lack the income, just because I tend to create a clutter out of nowhere. ^^;

Only if owning tiny trinkets is at the core essence of your being. I'm guilty of buying way too much Hatsune Miku merchandise, but there comes a time when the obsession reaches a limit. Have you considered purchasing only a handful of supreme quality replicas of your absolute favorite ships? Or perhaps taking the time to craft your own? Think about what you really wanna invest in, as sometimes less really is more.
