As soon as Raevyn was in the other room, Ashriel ran into her bedroom to relax. She muttered quietly to herself once she reached that room. "Is it possible to like someone you've only just started speaking to?" Carefully, she lay down on the bed, thinking carefully.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn pricked up his ears at the sound of Ashriel's voice. "Did you say something?" He asked her, pausing in his grooming. He'd heard her voice, though she'd been too quiet to make out the actual words.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel was startled by Raevyn's speaking. "Uh...no, I didn't." She said simply, her eyes watching around carefully. Hopefully he wouldn't catch on, although she was pretty sure that he would.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn cocked his head to the side as if he could see her, even though they were in separate rooms. "I heard your voice though." He said plainly, not really letting his feelings be known. "What were you talking about?" He couldn't help but be curious. It was a cat's nature. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel searched her head for an excuse. "Um...nothing, nothing at all." Maybe he'd believe that she'd been rambling complete nonsense? Unlikely, but possible.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Except for the fact that you always have a reason for talking." Raevyn said in a slow drawl. He hopped off the couch and sauntered into the bedroom. Leaping up to the bed, he settled himself right in front of Ashriel's face. "What were you talking about?"

Ashriel tried to turn away from Raevyn as her face became a new shade of red. Why was it so red? She never got like this before... "It really was nothing..." She said quietly, hoping she could squirm her way out of telling him. If she told him, well, it would make everything awkward. And she didn't like awkward situations. At all.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn simply hopped over her head, turning so he was once again face to face with her. He chuckled in amusement at the color of her face. "Did you know you're all red? As in, would shame a tomato kinda red." He told her, clearly being amused. "So what-Oh, hey!" He started to question her again but found himself distracted by a piece of lint fluttering over the vent in the floor. He couldn't help himself - He raced over and rose on his back legs, trying to catch the piece. Ashriel was completely forgotten. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Thank goodness." Ashriel muttered, running from the bedroom into the bathroom. Maybe now she could avoid telling him. Especially since he seemed to have forgotten she had even spoke. Thank god for his short attention span.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn looked up as he heard the bathroom door close - And promptly fell on his face, loosing his balance. He scrambled back to his paws and sat down, staring out the bedroom door. Why had Ashriel run off so quick? He dismissed it with a flick of his tail and returned to trying to catch the floating lint. "When you're done in there, I wouldn't mind a shower." He told her absently, not really paying attention. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed, thankful that he hadn't thought anything of it. "Okay." She said quietly, combing through her hair aimlessly with the brush although it was nearly time for bed. For some reason, it was calming her down. How... She didn't know. It wasn't too long until she walked out, and it was obvious that she had been brushing her hair the entire time.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sat down on his haunches this time, rather than falling. He glanced up at Ashriel. "You were brushing your hair? That's all?" He asked skeptically, then shrugged. He didn't care. He knew he liked having his fur groomed so he figured it was the same idea. He shifted to human and padded towards the door. "I'm going for my shower then." He disappeared into the bathroom and it wasn't long before the water could be heard running. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel sighed gently, thankful again that he was part cat. After all, he wouldn't understand how that was actually incredibly strange- especially for her. She was known for just shoving her hair back into a ponytail on occasion out of pure laziness. Not that he would have noticed that. Quickly changing, she laid down into her bed, thinking to herself. Should she- should she tell him how she was feeling?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn was soon finished his shower and came out wearing only a pair of low slung sweat pants. He had a towel around his neck, one he was using to dry his hair. Coming back into the bedroom, he sat on the bed, drying his hair vigorously. He didn't shift back to cat, something that was odd considering his fondness for his true form. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn nervously as he came out. No, it was too soon...too soon to know anything. Yeah, she could give it a bit of time. Still, she found herself biting her bottom lip as she looked at him. He was even cuter now...but...no. She wouldn't make any premature assumptions. She couldn't.
