i think the shoes thing is the rest of the avatar has so much going on in it that the feet are semi distracting, the sandles are right for the theme though... maybe check the starter items for something, the new ones

@ Seleane - Thanks for some such advice. smile Well heh... if you can see, my avatar could be called the 8 Wielded Weapons since I'm holding and packed with two daggers, two command chains, two katanas, and cape thingy with a spike ball on each side. smile Oh and the quote, it actually means, death is awaiting in my words. smile

I'd say 9/10 Wrathes.
I don't think it is the sandals that is the problem, I think it is sign at your feet.
Quite possibly the Bamboo from the Tama's Basket item might work a bit better for the theme.
Just my thoughts smile
