Virgil sighed in relief when the monster missed him. Then when Marx went for his attack, Virgil followed, going to attack the monster in a different spot than Marx to assure at least one attack would hit.

As Ace finally gets into speaking range he wonders if what he is doing is really worth the effort but decides to be too lazy to actually head back or do something else as he is now this close Hey! Keyblade user. Stop messing around with the damn Heartless and fight me. I want to know if your keyblade is worth it.

(Isn't weapons shop in first district?)
Rin looked around, but didn't seem to see any shops that had weapons.

Ace stunned at how stupid the kid is shakes it off and shadow steps in front of him with his own blade at Virgil's throat "You should listen more carefully when someone want's to fight you."

(Yeah i think.... but if we go there then Virgil would see Rin and make the side story slightly harder.)
"Fine," Dante sighed defeated as he crossed his arms. "I still think it would've been fine." he grumbled as he followed the others. He glanced around not seeing any real shops around the district.
Nero charged at the heartless from a third side after seeing the other's attacks. He readied both of his swords in a backhand grip before imbuing thunder magic into the Katana and Ice into the Wakizashi.

The Heartless roars in pain as it staggers from the blow to its leg, sending a wave of fire at the annoying wolf man who had hit it. It keeps its attention on Marx, its rage blinding it to anyone else who might be attacking.
((It's basically a giant bug, so it doesn't have an Achilles tendon))
Drinn frowns as Ace puts his key blade to Virgil's throat. She draws her scythe and starts walking towards them. "The kid barely has any experience with that thing, so leave him alone.", she calls to the man, sounding rather irritated that someone was threatening her current source of amusement.

Ace still having his blade to Virgil's throat looks at her and smiles "Yes, you are right but that is besides the point, if he has it he should learn to use it correct? So isn't it better if he learns in a real battle and not with Heartless that even I can control?" Ace asks as he thinks of an idea "How about you fight with him? That would make things more interesting for me as I haven't found anyone strong recently except for Continental and he doesn't seem to want to fight at the moment."

Virgil stopped dead when a Keyblade was against his throat. What? Who else has this damn sword?! Virgil thought when the guy suddenly said something about a fight. "Whoa, lets calm down a minute. Is this really the best time to fight? I mean we got a giant monster thing over there on a rampage, shouldn't a fight wait until after it's gone?" Virgil asked, trying to get the psychotic man away from him.
Suddenly a strange man stepped out of the alley to meet Dante, Nero and Rin. "Hello there Strangers. If you need weapons, I'm the guy to talk to." He said, a set of torches alight with blue fire behind him as he spoke.
((Basically the Merchant from Resident Evil 4 ))
"That depends, do you have anything for her?" Nero asked simply, gesturing to Rin.

"Yeah, I noticed, but if you pay close attention, you'll notice that he is not a demon. He might be creepy and there might be blue fire behind him, but so far he hasn't done anything not to warrant suspicion." Nero said simply as the Merchant began showing Rin all the weapons he had available.

"How would it be any better if he fights me? I'd wipe the floor with him.", Drinn huffs somewhat angrily. She didn't mean any offense to Virgil, she was just stating a fact.

Ace lowers his blade from Virgil's neck and looks at the heartless "But kid, it is such a weak monster, why do we need to bother?" Ace then looks over to the girl again "I meant you fight alongside him as it will hopefully be a challenge to me. Then again you both seem pretty weak." jumping back so that he puts some distance between Virgil and Drinn Ace aims his keyblade at Virgil again "Thundara." Ace says coldly as a large thundercloud quickly appears above Virgil and a lightning strike comes crashing down towards him

Illiandrinn glares at the man, hating that he had called her weak. She doesn't even glance up at the lightning before suddenly pointing her scythe at Ace, the lightning suddenly changing direction and heading straight for him. "Never call me weak.", she all but snarls at the man.
