"I do, but you can't let him to take control to do it. That Seth guy just wants to use our powers and do god knows what. He could use us to hurt Cali and Riley." Adrian said, looking more and more worried by the second.

"Adrian..." She started, looking up at him with sad eyes. "I'm sorry...I can't...I can't..." Amaya told him, already starting to become dazed as Seth began taking over.

"Amaya!" Adrian instinctively tried to get up and rush to her side but his chains stopped him. "Don't do it Amaya! You can't give in!"

Amaya's eyes glazed over as she now relaxed and leaned her back against the wall, just staring at the floor in front of her now. She seemed eerily calm as she just sat there, looking completely out of it as her chest just rose and fell steadily.

"Amaya!!" Adrian cried, louder this time while struggling uselessly against his chains. "I know you can hear me! You may have gotten her, but I'm not letting you take control so easily!" he called out to Seth.

Amaya made no movement as Adrian yelled, only sitting there against the wall, still staring at the floor. A shadow rose from the ground and slammed Adrian against the wall, holding him there for a moment before it let go. "We'll see..." Amaya muttered tonelessly, still sitting there.

Adrian grunted when he got slammed back and let himself slump down. His wings were already in a bit of pain from being bound they way they were and getting slammed flat against the wall didn't help any. He grimaced. He'd find a way to snap her out of it whatever it took.

"Cali's a good girl, she'll fight when she has to. And Riley's not the sort and wander off in the middle of danger like this, he'll stay with his sister and she's going to protect him." Adrian said confidently.
