"Eeep!" Ashriel squealed, her eyes flashing open. It took a moment for her brain to actually register the source of the pain, but as soon as it did, her eyes were down...and she was looking at him confused. She honestly had two questions- neither of which she could answer. The first being why the heck was she holding him, and the second... "Why are you biting me?" Somehow, she sounded calm as she said this. --o.o hmmm...--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Seeing Ashriel was sufficiently awake, Raevyn let go of her. His teeth had left a perfect set of indents in her skin though he hadn't drawn blood. Maybe bruised though. "Cause you were choking me. I thought you were listening when I told Lixini I don't do cuddling." 'At least, not when I'm being choked.' He added silently. "Now would you PLEASE let me go? I'm hungry." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel let go of him near immediately, blushing timidly for some reason. "Sorry." That had been a weird dream she'd had...and he'd been in it. No, no, that was a dream. Not real. Not at all like real life- right?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Thank you...." Raevyn muttered, exasperated. He climbed off the bed, ignoring Ashriel as he flickered back to human. He wandered off to the kitchen, muttering to himself. "Jeez. First she doesn't even want me in the bedroom at all, yet now she's cuddling me of all things....." He couldn't help but wonder why she'd done that. He pushed the question aside in favor of getting a bowl of cereal, more concerned with filling his belly than questions he couldn't answer. The tiger that should be....isn't....

After a minute, she realized why she'd been cuddling him...SHOOT! How much more of her dream had happened in real life? Did she...has she said anything? Please, please no. That would be so embarrassing. Shyly, she climbed out of the bed and walked into the kitchen quietly, going to get herself just a glass of milk for her breakfast. There were days that she only had that- it wasn't very unusual to her. Okay, so her stomach had a fit about thirty minutes into class, but she usually was able to ignore it... Besides, she couldn't eat right now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "That's all you're having?" Raevyn asked, not looking up from his cereal. "You sure you aren't going to pass out, halfway through class?" The teasing tone was back in his voice and it was clear he'd already moved on from the incident from this morning. Like a cat, he didn't hold grudges rather he simply accepted things and moved on. "Oh, don't forget your lunch today. No need to make Lixini share two days in a row." The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him, sipping at her milk a little before speaking. "I-I don't think I can eat anything right now." Now that would be bizarre for anyone to hear from Ash. In fact, if she said that to Jen or Lix, well, they'd freak and shove food down her throat. Not literally, of course. She would choke that way, knowing Ash. Hearing him mention her lunch, she immediately stood up, taking her milk back to place it on the counter. She got out her lunch she'd packed the day before and set it on the counter, picking up her milk yet again to drink it.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... At her words, Raevyn's head snapped up. He narrowed his eyes at Ashriel. "Can't eat? The bottomless pit can't eat?" Now that had him slightly worried. He rose and put the back of his hand against her forehead. "Are you sick or something? Feeling okay?" Just three days, four now, with her and he already knew how strange of a statement that was. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel's face flushed as his hand hit her forehead. Why in the world was she blushing? "I'm fine. Perfectly fine." She said simply, turning away in hopes that he hadn't seen her blush.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "You sure?" Raevyn asked, leaning to try and see her face. "You look kinda red. Maybe you should stay home today." It never occurred to him that the redness of her cheeks could be a blush. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Yeah, I can't miss-" Ashriel suddenly cut herself off. "SHOOT! I missed work yesterday because of the fight! Now...I'm definitely going to get fired. I was on my last chance." She said quickly, looking at him. Now she really was feeling sick. Her stomach was tight, and she felt like she was going to vomit. "And if I get fired, I don't have any money, and if I don't get any money, I'm outta here."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed as he realized she was right. He brightened up as a sudden idea occurred to him. "I'll talk to Mama Bear!" He said, as if that solved everything. He grinned, then explained. "She'll be short staffed since I stopped coming in. And you'll be able to handle working with the various were's. And it'll satisfy her fears, and everybody elses. It's perfect!" He looked smug, proud of himself for thinking of it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Really? I could...I could work there?" Ashriel asked, smiling. This made her feel better. And it wasn't like the money was just being handed to her, she would have to work. Perfect! But why was her stomach still so...funny feeling. Oh, crud. Maybe she really was sick. She groaned lightly and held her stomach now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Yeah! I'm sure you could!" Raevyn said brightly. His grin disappeared though, as she held her stomach. "Ash? Are you sure your okay?" He asked worriedly, watching her. He was never really sure what to do with sick people. Were's only have about three or four actual sicknesses they could catch. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Of course I am." Ashriel responded, right before she puked out onto the floor. "I can still go to school..." She said, moving to clean up the puke.-- o.O ash is stubborn.--
