"I don't know. Maybe." Mala said, unsure as to whether or not they should bother telling the twins about it. "It might help keep Anise defended. Then again, it might just scare them."

"That the twins would be scared of pregnant dad...." Van admitted with a mutter, feeling rather silly now in retrospect.
((I love how Kai and Larai have officially been dubbed 'the twins'. It's like Ouran. XD ))

Mala was glad that they arrived back home not long afterwards. At least, for the first five secconds. Now, though, she couldn't help but feel insecure. As if she were a poor example of a mother, as if she didn't have what it took to protect Anise, as if none of them were safe...
