The day had started off normal in the Wind capitol, or at least as normal as it could be with the death of the crown prince the night before. People were going about their business while trying to avoid the guards suspicions when the harbor alarm bells started going wild. Messengers ran through the streets yelling for everyone to return to their homes as quickly as possible as a large fleet of pirate ships was approaching.

Jace heard the bells and was surprised to learn pirates where coming. Hm, that might be an excellent way to get out of here. The guards were on edge at the gate and on the lookout for anyone suspicious. Well, I guess I'm commandeering a pirate ship. Jace thought to himself and went to gather his things. He'd have to sneak aboard first, after that it was a simple matter to pick off the crew until either he was alone, or had willing captives to sail him out. Then there was also the possibility of just killing the captain and taking their place. So many ways to go about it.
