The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn frowned at the man. "And do you know it's forbidden to reveal others without permission?" He asked, not caring if he sounded rude. "Ever thought some of us might like to keep our identity a secret?" This was why male cats often stayed away from each other. They had a tendency to get testy with one another. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The driver rolled his eyes. "I was only looking to protect my sister." He hissed, his eyes glancing in the rearview mirror back at Raevyn. "That reminds me...how did you know I was working as a cabbie, anyway, Jen?" His voice was slightly more gentle as he spoke to Jennalin.
"Easy. You forgot to finish cleaning your last apartment, dimwit. You left the card for the company." Jennalins said simply, as if it was nothing that she went through his old apartment after he had left.
Ashriel just dimly woke up again. "Wherearewe?" She mumbled, looking up and around, clutching close to Raevyn now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I don't care." Raevyn hissed at the driver, glaring at him. "It's my choice to reveal it, not yours." He glanced down though, hearing Ashriel's voice. "Shh.....It's alright." He murmured, smoothing her her lightly. "We're in a car. Gonna go get that goose egg of yours checked out." The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Whatgooseegg?" Ashriel mumbled, her face horribly red. Car plus whatever that had been this morning, plus the head bonk, equalled her being dizzy, sick, and flushed.
The driver hissed. "If it weren't my sis, and if that weren't Ash, I wouldn't even drive you."
Jennalin, stuck in the middle of all this, was completely confused. "What- what's wrong, Luke?"
Lucian frowned at Jennalin. "What did I tell you about calling me Luke!" Actually, she'd called him it to distract him from Raevyn.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn snarled at the driver. "If I had a choice, I wouldn't be anywhere near a mangy ally-cat like you." He told him flatly, using a cat-specific insult. He was distracted though by Ashriel's voice. "Nothing much to worry about. You fell and hit your head a bit hard. It's swelled up, so we're gonna get it checked out, just in case." His voice was much kinder as he spoke to the girl. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"WhendidIfall?" Ash's speech was still just a mumble. After a moment, her mind actually registered that there had been a third voice. "Lucianitsbeenawhilesinceilastsawyou." She mumbled, rolling in to face Raevyn's chest.
"Only a frilly house cat would need the help of someone else." Lucian hissed back to Raevyn yet again.
"Can both of you kitties settle down. Ash is still hurt! At least pretend to get along!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I was doing just fine on my own." Raevyn snarled at Lucian. He glanced at Jen, then at Ash. Huffing, he settled down to glaring out the window. Absentmindedly, he still stroked Ashriel's hair softly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel twitched a bit before falling right back to sleep just as Lucian pulled them up to the hospital. "Here, sis." He said simply, Jennalin smiling at him as she got out.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn tossed one last glare at Lucian as he got out of the car. He slammed the door shut, not caring about the car. He carried Ashriel into the hospital, right up to the triage nurse. He began explaining what had happened to her, the nurse making notes on a clipboard.
((Eh, I'll deal with it later. I'm too tired. I'm off to bed. night!)) The tiger that should be....isn't....

Lucian drove off as soon as Raevyn and Ashriel were out, going quickly away. He decided upon changing his job and home...again. How did Jennalin always chase him down?
Jennalin answered her cellphone as she walked in. "Calm down, Lix!" She told her phone, listening as the girl rambled. "We're at the hospital....no, it happened WHILE I was talking to him. Don't skip, we have to get the- what do you mean you are already on your way?" Jen looked at her phone, hanging it up before looking at Raevyn.
Ashriel, somehow, was still asleep with the panic about here.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignored Jennalin in favor of following the nurse down the hallway. He set Ashriel down on one of the beds, only to be shooed out by the doctor. There wasn't really much to tell the doctor anyways, just that she hit her head pretty hard. He came back out to the waiting room just in time to see Lixini burst through the doors. She glanced around wildly, then ran straight to Jennalin. "Jen! Where is she? Is she okay? What really happened? Please tell me Ash is okay!" The words hurried from her mouth without stop. Suddenly she caught sight of Raevyn. "Um....What's he doing here?" The poor girl was the only one out of the loop about Raevyn. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"As I said, Ash is fine." Jennalin seemed unfazed by Lixini running in...as if this was normal. "She bonked her head. She's just through those doors, you can't go in right now." Then came the final question. Her eyes flickered to Raevyn, trying to come up with an excuse for him to be there. "He's...he's..."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini breathed a sigh of relief as she heard that Ashriel was okay. That was good to know. Now she was just waiting for why Raevyn was here. "I got a call about my aunt. She'd slipped and fallen." He lied smoothly, not even ruffled. "I saw Jennalin and came to see why she was here rather than in class." It was obvious he was a practiced liar, not even fazed at hiding the truth.
The doctor examined Ashriel, sliding his hands gently across her head. "Hmm....Yes, I can see where she fell." He murmured to himself, feeling the bump. He shook the girl's shoulders. "Come on dear. I need to see how coherent you are." He said, trying to wake Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

As usual, Ash couldn't be awoken by being shaken.
"Err...yes." Jennalin was a horrible liar. She always had been.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Lixini glanced at Jennalin, then back at Raevyn. Finally she nodded, buying. Jen wasn't the greatest liar but Raevyn was good enough to make her believe it. "Alright. Is she okay?" She asked worriedly. Raevyn chuckled and nodded. "Turns out she just fractured her leg. With plenty of bedrest, she'll be just fine."
The doctor sighed, then tried something else. He'd been in the profession for quite some time now and knew a few tricks. "Child, breakfast is ready." The tiger that should be....isn't....
