"Bleeding leg and coughing don't constitute 'fine' in my book. You should get that bandaged up at the very least. Where's the nearest hospital from here?" Adrian asked looking to Amaya for the answer.

"There's one at the next station..." Amaya sighed, getting a shadow to wrap around Sierra's leg for the moment. "What exactly were you attempting to do?" She asked, noticing the device on her back.

Sierra blinked more as she simply stared at them. Still, she heard nothing of their words. I really picked the wrong day to not have my headset. Good thing body language is obvious amongst the couple... Her eyes went their bodies watching their movements which suggested their worry and how the both of them were very tired. "There's really no nee-" She paused feeling something rush unto her leg to which she quickly jumped back hitting her head on the wall behind her. The 'thing' was a shadow...which was the mother's power. Her eyes watched it and was enriched with questions of curiosity though...she'd just annoy the mother. She shook her head, standing back on her feet with a slight grunt as her leg gave resistance. She saw the mother's eyes go to Sebby's device and she chuckled,"That's a friend's...I was testing it. The device simulates flight, and quite well, yet I overdid it and now it needs some adjustments. You see, my friend creates inventions and will open his store soon to the public so he's trying to get everything error free...you'll probably see the fliers tomorrow since I'll be the one hanging them up." She says rather excited of the news herself. Really, she was happy to express it with another...though that might be too obvious. She cleared her throat, still dry from before, and tried to better her posture to cause less worry amongst them.

"Well, you should try to be more careful. If you're falling out of the sky, I don't think all the bugs have been worked out just yet." Adrian pointed out. "Either way, you should get your leg properly patched up."

Sierra blinked at the one talking and she really wished she read lips. She had no idea what he said as his thoughts didn't necessarily suggest what he did say that well. "Uhmm....yeah.." She says rather awkwardly. She found that agreeing to whatever it was that another said mostly worked in most situations and if it wasn't appropriate she easily covered with the excuse of sarcasm.

Shaking her head, Maya motioned for Sierra to follow her as she began walking again. They'd have to stop off at the next station for the hospital for the girl. A minor set back, but it had to be done it seemed.

"Well this is turning into quite the little caravan..." Adrian muttered to himself as he walked alongside Amaya. On the plus side, at least this girl wasn't going to follow them home and sleep on the couch.

"Doesn't it always?" Amaya breathed, seeming a little tired. She led everyone to the station and down into the right train, sighing lightly to herself as they stepped on.

"Not really. Always felt like just you, me, and Calista. But then maybe that's just me..." Adrian said scratching his nose sheepishly as he sat down next to Amaya.

((yeah))
When they reached the hospital, Amaya led them to the emergency room waiting room. Calista ran over to the TV to watch some cartoons they had on while Amaya just motioned for the girl to go over to the nurse before she went and took a seat. She figured they should at least make sure she got her injury treated before bolting, even though there were things Amaya still had to do for the day.

"So what's left on the to-do list?" Adrian asked as he set down Calista's bags he'd been carrying and sat down next to Amaya. "Picked up Calista, wrapped presents...Hopefully you've done all your shopping."

((I have two AP classes plus English (my worst subject) starting Monday, and will need to devote most, if not all, of my free time to study. I'm going to be sporadically active (on the order of the incredibly-infrequent-posting crowd). If Smith & the rest could be placed on hiatus, that'd be grand. thankfully I'll be going off to college next year, so that should give me a bit more free time.))

"I put the turkey out to thaw. Yes, even I know how to cook a turkey..." She muttered, crossing her arms over her chest as she tried to think of everything. "Shopping was pretty much stuff for Calista and then the required polite crap for her grandparents. So besides getting home in time to start cooking, I think I'm alright." She muttered. Technically she could get the shadows to start everything for her, but on holidays, she actually enjoyed being there to do the work herself.
