I'm back. And not feeling so well... dealing with cramps... major ones... so I'm feeling a bit nauseated. At point, I had to pull off into the parking lot of Burgerville because I thought I was going to need to throw up. But once I finished parking, the feeling passed. *sighs* I think I'm going to lay down for awhile until this nauseated feeling goes away... then I'll finish doing the remaining homework I need to do.

In case you're wondering why I'm posting a bunch of sources revolving eyes... as I started reading The Outsiders yesterday, I noticed that the main character Ponyboy kept talking about the color of eyes for the various characters we are introduced to. So... that's where I got the eye part.
Originally I was going to go with a meaning aspect to eyes... but clearly there hasn't been any real, scientific or anything that confirms such thing. Though there is a lot of mythological aspect to eyes... so I might go that route. Though I don't know how I'm going to include quotes from the book for that. *shrugs*

I might end up changing my mind on what topic I'll cover in my text analysis when I finished the book. Hmm... I might as well go and get the book and finish it, since I have no other homework to do than the stuff revolving around The Outsiders.
*sighs* I'll go get it then... Be back in a bit.

I'm back. And as I'm reading I'll be posting various quotes that stand out to me. Like right now I'm going to do the quotes that primarily stuck out to me that oriented around eyes... and whatever else stood out to me.
*listens to Christmas Pop/R&B station on Pandora*
"I have light-brown, almost-red hair and greenish-gray eyes. I wish they were more gray, because I hate most guys that have green eyes, but I have to be content with what I have." (p.1) - Ponyboy Darry - "He's got eyes that are like two pieces of blue-green ice."(p. 6) Darry - "He would be real handsome if his eyes weren't so cold." (p. 6-7) Sodapop - "His eyes are dark brown - lively, dancing, recklessly laughing eyes that can be gentle and sympathetic one moment and blazing with anger the next, He has Dad's eyes, but Soda is one of a kind." (p. cool Two-Bit Mathews - "He had gray eyes and a wide grin, and he couldn't stop making funny remarks to save his life." (p. 9-10) Dally - "His eyes were blue, blazing ice, cold with a hatred of the whole world." (p. 10)
