Mala, to say the least, wasn't very impressed. "So after all these years, Milly finally snapped? I can't really say I blaim her. Her life's been hell since day one." she commented, not seeming to care all that much about Daemon's predicament. In fact, the only reason why she would be helping Daemon is to make sure he doesn't wuss out of helping raise his child.

Daemon's shadow shrunk a bit in guilt knowing he was mostly to blame for that. "I know, I know....I just need some item with enough power to keep me going. A relic, or some enchanted jewelry of some sort would do. Something with enough power to match Milly's."

"Please, mommy, daddy..." Larai muttured, putting on the seldom used puppy eyes. "Please help us out? Please please please?" Needless to say, Larai would be embarassed with herself and less than pleased if this didn't work.

Mala was no match for the puppy eyes either, and ended up hugging Larai tightly. "Of course we'll help!"

Larai then pulled away from her parents, grinning broadly. "Thank you both sooooo much! I promise I'll keep visiting often, and I'll be sure to bring you some more treasure from my occassional heists!" She glanced over at Daemon's shadow and grinned all the wider. Yes, this was a skill she had been perfecting for centuries.

((I forgot another DnD moment from the weekend. The DM was starting to get on Kitty's nerves, I can't remember why, and so the following happened:
Kitty: Robbie, you're making me angry....
DM: Joanna, just roll the die...
Kitty: MEH!! *throws die down on table hard. die bounces a few times and comes up with a 20*
DM: Did you just throw it and get a 20....?
Kitty: Yes. =D ))
