"What can I say? It's true." Daemon said with a big smile as he returned the hug. "Let's get out of here now. We should see if I can't do anything with Milly while we're here, and then once we get back I can figure out how to bind myself to this thing." he said fingering the cuff on his ear.

Daemon swallowed nervously as he waited for Larai to open the door they'd found Milly in earlier. He wasn't sure whether he hoped for her to be awake or asleep. It had taken some difficulty finding their way back amongst all the doors, but they finally found Milly's room once more.

Larai opened the door carefully, but quickly. Milly was still slumbering for the moment, but wouldn't be for long.
