I know Galfmon are supposed to be Mountain sized. . . but I thought that was waaaay overkill. Imagine it a bit larger than Kentaourosmon please ^^ :3

If you want, you can just leave the background out and judge the fight scene alone x3 Sorry about writing so much!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leppamon padded through the Knight's room, his small footsteps tinkering on the cold cement flooring. His ears were perked and blue eyes alight with something akin to pride. This room had always been his favorite in this castle, especially now that he was a part of it. The Champion digimon twitched his mouth into a smirk; which blossomed into a full grin. He couldn't believe it, he was a knight! He was a, well, a champion.
The chambers were dark, the floors and ceiling almost completely coated in shadowy darkness. The only light that entered the room was an eerie purplish blue, and it was more surreal than practical. The bulbs didn't hang, but seemed to float inside of the edges where the ceiling met the floor.
Glass squared were planted all over, adding a dark museum twist to it all. Cases upon cases were protecting whatever prescious items were inside. Why, you ask? Well the room served as a trophyroom; all digimon that were once champions had their armor hanging upon this wall. along with their armour was their weapons and charms that made them special. And quotes from the warriors placed upon a plaque that sat coldly behind the glass.
Leppamon shivered, all of this armour was huge, dwarfing him in the form that he prefered. Though he wasn't scared, nor at all intimidated. He was bigger than any of these in his mega form. The form of a warior, a champion, a knight. A toothy grin met Leppamon's face and he didn't bother supressing a swell of pride. 'I've already outlasted some of the best.' It was true, because upon the plaques sat the ages and last battles of fallen warriors. The longest living of them was a mere twenty years.
Considering Leppamon was entering his twelvth soon, it was a feat to be recognized.
All he had to do was keep winning; make sure that his kingdom wasn't let down. Oftentimes Anubismon was seen as an evil king. A tyrant that often lost more valiant warriors than any other. It was true, there were more knights dead here than in any other region. Most kings wouldn't place their best men on the line unless absolutely necessary.
But being God of the Dead meant that he could pull a few strings.
One of those strings being the ability to ressusitate those he found nescicary. But the thing was. . .he had never done it before. Even after Kazuhimon and Cerberumon, Vajramon and Gaiomon; not a one of them was ever brought back from their fate. They died out on the battlefield like anyother, and even with the losses Anubismon wouldn't stop grinning. As if he knew how the battle would turn out, and was already plotting which of his forces would replace the fallen.
Leppamon had known Tsukaimon, the digimon that Gaiomon was the mega form originated. He was a valiant little fella, and beck then, Leppamon had been nothing to look at. Just another soldier in Anubismon's army. He was prideful, strong, but extremely thickheaded. The fox-pipe digimon knew that he wouldn't last as long as the digimon he replaced.
Most felt the same way about Leppamon himself. . .
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The audience roared, but not because their warrior was engaged in a battle with a demon. But because of the noise coming out of the demon's mouth. It was filled with evil and terror and it just hurt to listen to. It was like death calling, making even the warmest of hearts turn cold and the breaths of many catch in their throats.

It was the 'Dead Scream' of a demon. A Virus digimon that some swore came from the depths of hell itself.

Sleiphmon did his best to fight it, covering his hears and the air slowly filling with ice; but the ice simply shattered. He was done for, the valiant knight was through. There wasn't a way that he could fight this monster. He was like terror himself! The centaur digimon shuddered, gathering his strength; he couldn't die here! If there was something that he absolutely refused to do; it was die by the hands of this demon.

Die without a proper fight that is.

Sleiphmon roared, and his enemy sneered, grinning for all he was worth. The red knight took no head of this, charging; rod at hand. This digimon wouldn't destroy the pride he had for his villiage! He wouldn't destroy him; he who had years of training and the heart of a knight. The spirit of an angel; the courage of a lion. . . he wouldn't die here in this battle.

Galfmon simply grinned, eyes narrowing the slightest as he opened his wings and welcomed the charging digimon to try as he may to destroy him head on. It had never worked before; all who faced him were quickly destroyed.

This one was no different.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leppamon shook himself from the battle, skittering through the crowds. Now was the time that the fights over who should have won; who should have come out on top. And of course, the bickers and brawls saying that they could have beat Galfmon themselves. That the big demon digimon was nothing compared to the strength that they posessed.
Don't make me laugh. . . Leppamon rolled his eyes, holding his masked face high as he located his king. Anubismon's dark silky voice quickly revirbirated to his ears. "You've done well, champion." He cackled quietly and Leppamon felt a chill from the sheer amount of. . . death that came from his voice. It was incredible, how such an evil digimon could make himself seem like he had an ounce of humanity so easily.
It only made the compliment seem so much more valuable.
Leppamon grinned up at him, blue eyes twinkling at the statement of his king. "Thank you Your Lordship." He answered, his smaller voice was so quiant and gave him such an innocent look' no one believe that he was the infamous Galfmon. He, who had such a valiant mega form managed to morph into something so evil, so dangerous, so. . .so deadly. That a lovely data type holy digimon had the megaform of a beast.
Yes, Leppamon was indeed Galfmon.
"Come Pantalaimon, we have much to be done." Anubismon stood and left the arena, not even bothering to look the king with a fallenw arrior in the eyes. It wasn't often that Leppamon was called by his name, and it surprised the digimon at first but. . .
"Yes Master."
It was something that any servent of Anubismon learned to accept. . . Especially with the name coming from him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lunamon smiled sweetly, twitling at the news of a new battle. She was anxious, excited, and completely enthralled about the kingdom she was going to. In her mind, as long as she kept winning, she went new places, and met new digimon. There wasn't anything better than that! "Angemon, when are we leaving?" The innocent rabbit digimon asked her servant turned chaperone.

Angemon sighed, but not without a smile. This girl was so young, and so very sweet. What was the king thinking putting her up against Galfmon. That digimon would rip her to shreds, even if Dianamon was the strongest this villiage had ever known. The dark, evil villiage ther were heading to was no place for his young surge, but he hadn't a choice in the matter. Opening the door for his villiags champion, he sighed wishing her the best. "Why tomorrow young one." He answered, hoping that she wouldn't ask anything more.

Lunamon, sensing the dispair in her companion's voice didn't. Who could she be fighting that made him so nervous?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ophanimon has finally lost it." Anubismon cackled. This king had wagered so much on the upcoming battle, that it was definently the most. . . laghing matter. It was more entertaining than the kigns that challenged him simply because he knew his knights were the strongest. This one? He had wagered half of his kingdom, along with the death of his villiage's strongest knight.
How could he say no?
"Tell Leppamon to prepare for an easy victory."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Leppamon almost cringed at the news, but seeing the fear at his discomfort, quickly grinned. "Thanks." He said cheekily, and the digimon that gave him his message left; returning to his king. Leppamon sighed, he would do anything for his kingdom, for Anubismon. The King had shown him what it was like to be prideful and important. He had turned him into a fighter, and given him the strongest mega-form a digimon could ask for.

Why did he always feel like a monster after his battles? After the adrenaline left and the guilt sunk in, Leppamon would wonder why he did this; wonder why kings would bet their own knights against eachother in viscious brawls to the death. Then he would think of the elation during the battles; how he would feel after winning, and see the little glimemr at his sucess in his king's eyes. At those moments, it was so easy to believe that Anubismon wasn't such a malicious digimon afterall.

Even so, it was all a lie.

Leppamon scorted, yawning and hopping out of his window. The branches of the nevergreen tree wobbled, but were sturdy. Trees never bloomed here, flowers never grew. There was no sun for them, so plants simply etoliated, the off white color of the bark and pale leaves was something that everyone in this region expierienced yearound.

It was boring after a while.

Deciding it was time for him to stop brooding, Leppamon headed toward the square; it was time for a bite to eat.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Angemon, is this sky always so dark?" Lunamon gasped from her snug spot, smooshed into the angel's wings.
"Not as dark as the digimon in it." He replied curtly. This was one thing that he never had to worry about being Lunamon's charge. Speaking his mind was something that the little rabbit never got after him for, accepting hjis snarkier comments just as easily as his kind ones.
Lunamon simply hummed at his responce, looking at all the virus types that wandered the streets. They were a bit scary compared to all of the sweet, lightly colored friends and digimon that lived back at her home. 'Ah well, I'll just have to get over it.' she thought lightly, knowing that all of these digimon couldn't be dark and evil looking.
She was smart enough to tell a vile spirit from a kindred one, thankful for that; because it was unknown if these streets had anything but demons and their lords walking about. Even so, the little rabbit wasn't scared. As long as Agnemon was with her, she was safe. And even if she wasn't, Dianamon could kick the rears of every digimon here!
Angemon sighed, passing another vender. Was there no safe food sources around here? He didn't want to feed his charge overcooked black goop. Surely she would be sickened, and tomorrows fight would go even worse than he already feared. Glancing over, he noticed one shop that seemed to be relatively safe; so he say Lunamon down right outseide; knowing how ancy she got when inside of small buildings, and went to order a couple dishes for he and first and formostly Lunaon.
"I will return shortly." He promised, and Lunamon nodded, twirling in a circle and quickly distacting herself with all of the sights and sounds of this oh so very. . .different square.
All the while, Angemon looked back and forth from the menu and Lunamon. It was terrifying, leaving the little girl out on these un sanitary, and overall dangerous streets. The angel quickly ordered the most appitizing sounding things on the menu (Miso Soup, Shrimp Dangos and Steak ) and waited patiently at the end of the line for his order.
Hearing a noice, Angemon jumped, looking over to the window that Lunaon stood beside. What if she was stolen! What if she was slaughtered, mercilessly left there to be eaten by these vulgar pack of vultures that resided in this kingdom. His pupils dialated, and he was ready to dart for the door and chase after the murderer right then and there when. . .
the little rabbitgirl giggled and waved, she had knocked on the window to get his attention. "Hi Angemon!" She laughed, a giant smile on her face. The nervous angel sighed, twiddling his fingers in a nervous wave, his pounding heard calming down tremendously. He refused to look back at the girl anymore, not responing to anymore noises, and blocking out chitter in the shop. Angemon forced a smile and laughed quietly; he would just get the food and go; that it, get it and go.
When he got back outside, Lunamon was nowhere to be found.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Leppamon blinked, cocking his head to the side. This was a rare sight, a rare sight indeed. . . because right before him was a pink digimon, a pink rabbit digimon, and she was spinning in circles and singing. She. . .must have been lost,because no digimon could remain so happy in this dreadful square of this even more dreadful villiage.

This definently wasn't a place the female could call home, so why was she here, dancing, singing, and smiling like she belonged here with the rest of them?

"What are you doing?" Blue eyes blinked behind his fox shaped mask. His mouth twisted into question, and he didn't know what to expect as an answer.

Lunamon blinked, gasping that she had been caught in her little dance. When she noticed who it had come from, she blinked, and twirled again. "What does it look like I'm doing?" She giggled, taunting the not-so-scary looking digimon on this terrifying street.

Leppamon blinked, abashed that someone would speak to him like that. Every digimon here knew hwo he was, he was Galfmon! The digimon at the right-hand of the King! Apparently this girl knew not who she was speaking to. Obviously she didn't belong in this kingdom.

"Making a fool of yourself." He answered curlty, tail swishing behind him. He narrowed his eyes, suddenly angry with this cheeky little girl.

She was quick to respong, frowning with a cute little pount before sticking out her tongue. "That's not very nice." Lunamon sniffled and turned around.

Leppamon rolled his eyes, fulyl prepared to walk away from this little girl. But when he did, she only followed. "Hey! Don't walk away from me!" She sniffled, grabbing onto one of his tails. Leppamon would have kept walking, ignoring the little rabbit rebelling onh is tail.

But when he turned around to growl she had the cutest little smile on. . .

"Take me to see the city!" She said suddenly, forgetting all about angemon and how hungry she was. She wanted to play with her new frend! He was a bit rude, but the nicest digimon she had ever met once you got past that.

Besides, he was the only one who didn't treat her like a Queen.

Leppamon blinked, wondering how he had become some little bunny's victim. Though even as he looked at her, he couldn't help but nod a quick yes. . .and he couldn't figure out why he didn't want her to leave as he did before.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Turns out, the two had a blast. They had a lot in common.
"I'm Lunamon." The little rabbit girl said, smiling and hugging Leppamon before spinning in another one of her circles. "I'm a champion for my villiage."
Leppamon hadn't told her that he was the same, but was surprised. She was so small and utterly adorable; what could her megaform be? Laughing and leaping infront of Lunamon, the fox digimon grinned. "How could a digimon like you be a champion?" He asked, though his eyes held a hidden curiosity that sparked something much more twisted than the simple teasing question actually was.
Lunamon only shook her head, ears swaying as she did so. "It's a se-cr-et."
Leppamon showed her everything around here. The buildings, the farms, even some of the castle. He wouldn't dare let her near it though; another digimon might give him away. He dind't know why, but he didn't want her to know that he was this villiages champion that he was Galfmon. His fighting mega, his alliace was so evil in digimon's eyes when they didn't come from here.
The fox digimon knew that he couldn't hadnle that. Such simple bright clue eyes staring at him wish fear, anger, hate, disguest . . . he didn't want her to leave him on a bad note.
In fact, he didn't want his rookie companion to leav ehim at all.
"Is your villiage nice?" He asked as they got further away from the castle. Lunamon quickly perked up even more (which Leppamon wasn't sure she could do without her dimples de-flating) and went into detail about her king, Seriphimon and all of the angels in the castle. The sky was blue, and the grass was laways green; the sun and the moon shared the sky. It fascinated Leppamon, a place where the day could share time with the night.
He hadn't expected such an in detail explination, but he didn't regret the question. Not in the least.
"So I'm guessing that's a yes." He grinned.
Lunamon smiled back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When Leppamon returned home, he sighed, shaking his fur and heading for his quarters. He was met by Anubismon himself.

"I-is something wrong Your Lordship?" He said, his head tittered to the side again. Anubismon wouldn't come to him unless he had something to tell him of the utmost importance.

Anubismon's eyes narrowed, and he scowled at the little pipe-fox. "You left my castle without permission, and did nothing of your duties. You are my champion Pantalaimon! How dare you leave without permission!"

Leppamon blinked, all of this because he left? He went exploring all the time, never before had his King; his master, ever cared what he did and didn't do. "Is that all?" He asked, but instantly regretted it. Never before had he seen such fire in Anubismon's eyes.

"Is that all?!" He roared, his staff starting to pour with the king's very own anger. "How DARE you ask me is that all? After you went out and fratenized with the enemy. The child of the moon." He spit out Dianamon's title with all of the disgust in the world.

At first, Leppamon blanked, the fury coating the room with so much tention that it was hard to think. "All I've given to you! The pride, the honor, and you shame my very name!" He yelled even louder, and Leppamon swore the floors were trembling. If the entire castle hadn't heard him screaming, then Leppamon swore by his mask that they had simply gone deaf.

"That disgusting girl, she will be the digimon you fight tomorrow." He said darkly, and watched as Leppamon's eyes gained traces of horror and fear. "Fight well." His voice returned to the evil coated silk, and Leppamon was left feeling empty, staring blankly ahead in the corridor to his room.

This only took me about forever..
The fic was inspired by two different anime series I read about a year ago where there was some very cute love-dovey scenes in it that I just couldn’t forget… I just can´t remember the names of the anime series anymore
Oh well…

Warning- This fic contains blood, violence and R rated situations. If you don’t like reading about two humanoid digimons kissing then don’t read this.
There is, for the very first time, only heterosexual pairings in this story.
Enjoy!

Where there is Love, there is Hope

Maybe it would be best to start this tale with a; Once upon a time…
But no, I won’t do that.
You see, this story that I am about to tell you might seem like a fairytale to you, but it is not, everything I am about to tell you is true, I know, I was there myself.
My name is Kaya, I am a tamer and for now, a storyteller.
This story is not about monsters or damsels in distress, not quite anyway, but it is a story about hope and most important of all, it is a story about love.
My story takes place in two different kingdoms, the kingdom of the Sun and the kingdom of the Moon. These two countries were placed side by side in the digital ocean and was ruled by two kings very different kings, Wisemon, a clever, mystical king who treated his people kindly and spend much of his time reading or studying and Jewelbeemon, a warrior king with a kind heart.
Wisemon was the king of the Moon and Jewelbeemon was the king of the Sun kingdom.
These two kings found themselves on the brink of war, an argument had started many years ago and neither of them wanted to back down and admit that they were the one who was wrong, after a while they could not even remember why they were arguing in the first place or why they kept fighting each other, but in the end they decided that war was the only way to settle things.
Fortunately for them a Sorcerymon came to the castle one lonely cold winter day in December when the two kings were fighting and he predicted that a war would kill them both and destroy both countries
“What will you have us do then?!”
Yelled Jewelbeemon to the white clad sorcerer who merely smiled and replied
“Let the two strongest digimons in your Kingdoms fight each other, the winner wins the argument”
The two kings thanked the wise Sorcerermon for his advise and immediately sent their servants out to find the strongest digimons in the two kingdoms.
But this is not where the story begins.
The story begins far away from the castle and it´s king in a giant forest called the Lagoon an early summer evening, where an angel and a fox wandered down the dusty road..
It was cold that day…

-----------------------------------------

.: Lagoon Forest, The Kingdom of the Sun:.

Dark blue eyes watched the petite curvy figure in front of him through the yellow fox mask that covered his face and hid it from the outside world just as surely as the silver helmet that hid the blond haired womons clear blue eyes. The angel digimon had worked herself into an angry fit once again, this time over a rude Garurumon who had thought he could sell the young digimon a gold trinket for far too many digi-dollars for her liking when they were at the marketplace. Just moments before her anger had made her pink aura flash up like a blanket of flames around her. Her cheeks were red, her feathers bristling, wings extended, she was so beautiful but also so young, a mere child who had yet to learn all there was to the world and everything in it, her new body was still so awkward and foreign to her, she was a teenager and like any teenager her temper seemed to have spiked as soon as she managed to digivolve into her angel form for the very first time. The silent fox magician just took in her words as he armed himself with patience and allowed the young mon to rant. Angewomon wings twitched dangerously as she yelled creative insults and curses in the general direction of the male digimon walking next to her, she might have the appearance of an angel but her soul was still the one of a wild cat, Gatomon had never been a good kitty, she never would be.
It was rather sweet actually. Taomon allowed himself a weak smile as he listened to the girls “sermon” on idiots.
The verbal barrage had ended only when the blonde angel had taken the time to notice that her best friends reactions had been more in amusement to her behavior than anything else and a sudden wave of embarrassment rushed through her, leaving her blushing and gasping for breath now that she had used all of the air she had in her lungs to rant. Punctuating her tirade with a child like huff she stalked ahead, muttering angrily as she went.
Taomon smiled and chuckled warmly when the angel left him behind. His eyes settled along the curves of her feminine form, he observed the path her long hair traveled with each of her footsteps, swaying back and forth in rhythm with her hips and wings. The magician shook his head ruefully, it was strange, for so many years now he had taken care of the little Salamon, watched her change into a beautiful white feline, been her best friend, grown up with her, played with her when he was still a Renamon who studied the art of magic and she a cat who wanted to become a fighter after her parents had abandoned her. They had grown up side by side almost like a brother and sister, how many nights had he not spend in her bed as she curled up to his chest and purred until he felt his eyelids grown heavy and gave in to the deep, warm sleep only granted to the ones who lies with a warm body in their arms and a heart filled with love.
Taomon looked at the sky above while Angewomon continued walking, blond hair caught in the soft summer breeze and white feathers shimmering as they bathed themselves in the orange, golden glow from the setting sun. Angemon herself thought of the past as well in that very moment, her body was too big, her legs too long and it was so hard to keep her balance now that she no longer had her tail, she could not even fly yet, the wings seemed determined not to do her biddings no matter how hard she tried to force movement into the feathered limbs, they never obeyed her but they did move, just not when she wanted them to. Shifting and spreading out every now and then without her permission, that was the only thing her wings were good for.
She could remember when she arrived at the village near the castle a few years ago, she had been nothing but a scared little Salamon back then, scared and dying. Witchmon and Sorcerymon took care of her, adopted her, raised her. The first days had been the worst, suddenly without warning she had found herself being watched by a barking little Vixiemon with playful blue eyes while Witchmon brewed a new potion by the stove. The little fox ball has begged her to play with him and even though she did her best to resist the fox they turned into best friends within a matter of hours and they had never left each other since, sure there had been ups and downs in their relationship every now and then but they were always there for each other no matter what. It was as if there was a bond that kept them together, a soul bond… maybe even..
“Angewomon, let us rest here for the night”
“What?” Angewomon halted in her tracks so fast that her wings fell over her shoulder, much to her annoyance. The angel tried desperately to move them out of the way. She could have sworn she heard the other digimon say that they were going to stay here for the night. The ‘here’ being in the woods in what probably classified as in the middle of nowhere, not a nice place to be when nightfall arrived, there were thief’s, murderers and dark tamers in the night.
“Yes, here” Tao replied patiently in a warm tone.
Shocked at the strange idea the female digimon spun around to stare at her best friend. Angewomon could make out the special shine in his eyes even as he began to move away, which meant he was smiling behind his mask. Taomon walked off the road as he carefully selected what would be their camping grounds for the night: well away from the road, protected by tree cover.
Angewomon walked after him, winching when one of her wings suddenly expanded and smacked into a tree, she ignored the throbbing pain in the feathered appendage and ran up to the fox magicians side, placing a delicate hand on his sleeve.
“But will we be safe here Taomon?” She asked quietly, the anger she had felt before leaving her. The angel tilted her head and lowered her smooth voice to a whisper as if afraid someone might hear them
“We’re nowhere near the next village. We should at least find an inn or..”
“We´ll be safe here Angel, trust me” Tao cut in with a warm chuckle, he placed his own paw like hand on hers and gave it a reassuring squeeze before he let it go.
Angel smiled softly at the use of her nickname; Angel. She nodded, not wanting to discuss it further even though the idea of sleeping in the forest did not suit her. Sure, Tao might like the idea of camping under the stars, she, however, would much rather prefer the comfort of a nice, warm bed to dirt and rocks. Bathing too, was always a bonus she enjoyed, not to mention her little basket in the corner and…
The angel blushed and stared down at her humanoid body, curvy breast hidden behind gold jewelry obscured her vision and the would-be-cat sighed, she doubted that she would ever grow into her new digivolution
Angewomon knew that Tao’s decision made sense. The sun had already begun to set and soon it would be difficult to see, let alone walk, especially for her. Had she still been a Gatomon she would have had no problems seeing in the dark but now that she was an angel she had lost that major advantage. Despite herself, she had to admit that stuck sleeping in the woods with her dear Tao was better than being lost in the dark without him.
So, she followed his lead into the woods as he searched for a place far enough off the road to keep them invisible from bypasses. Angel followed her friend, as the sun disappeared behind the horizon she kept closer to him and in the end she wrapped her white fingers around his paw, this earned her a smile but Taomon was otherwise silent as they made their way through the dim forest.
After covering what felt like a good kilometer of forest, Tao seemed to have finally found a spot that was to his liking. He turned to Angewomon and took her into his arms, the hug was brief, not long enough to be more than friendly. He let go of the young angel and then settled against an old oak tree, the bark felt rough on his back even through the thick robe.
He looked at the angel in silence as she flopped down onto the ground, graceful as always but clearly forgetting for a moment that she no longer had paws and thus could not curl up on the grass like usual.
The angel leaned back to glare at her hands for a moment before she huffed in irritation, flipping her long blonde hair over her shoulder. She tucked her legs under her chin. Her eyes slid closed in exasperation. One hand moving absently over her sore calf muscles, massaging the problem areas. Taomons eyes widened slightly, not much, but it was clear to see that the blue orbs followed the young angels movements as if hypnotized. The tired angel was oblivious to the other digimons intense stare. She was tired and hot from walking for such a long time. A thin layer of sweat coated her entire body and she felt disgusting. She would give her left paw…ARM to have a bathtub filled to the brim with warm water right now.
“Angel” Tao spoke up with a strong voice, once again seemingly indifferent to his female companions beauty. Casually crossing his arms over his chest, hiding his hands from view as they slid into the giant sleeves, “Would you please start a campfire, it is getting rather cold”
Angel nodded sweetly, snapping with her fingers just because she could
“Yes, oh great Master...I live to serve thee”
Angel joked with a devilish smirk, her feline streak once more showing through. She paused for a moment..
“Why don’t you do it Tao. You’re the only one here who can do magic”
The fox demon chuckled “Yes but you’re the one here who needs practice”
Angel scowled realizing that she’d walked straight into that one, but the comment, innocent as it was, was enough to awaken the hormonal digimon angels temper once more.
But, as aggravated as she was, Angel knew that if she didn’t go for firewood there would be no fire and it would be cold and dangerous to stay where they were. Tao was the sweetest digimon imaginable but he was also a true believer of the you-learn-it-by-doing it theory Sorcerymon had trained them by. If she wanted it done, she had to do it herself with no help.
And, judging from Taomons knowing smile, he knew it too.
Angel flapped her wings in anger
“Fine!” Pushing off from the ground below her and almost falling over when her slender white human legs refused to work normally the blonde shot up from where she was seated. Whirling away from Tao, who didn’t even attempt to look sorry for the “hurtful” comment, Angel stomped back off into the labyrinth of trees to get the stupid firewood. Leaving behind a sighing Taomon who shook his head at the teenagers antics
Several innocent branches and trees soon felt the wrath of the frustrated womon.
After storming a fair distance away from their ‘camp’, and murdering a huge part of the local flora, Angel was feeling more like herself, she felt embarrassed all over again at her own actions, she was acting like a spoiled brat and had no idea how to stop herself from doing so, her only comfort was that it was only Tao and even though it was embarrassing to act like a LadyDevimon in front of him she knew that he understood.
Kicking slightly at the rough terrain of the forest floor she sighed and began to scan the ground for some deadwood. Progress was slow. Here and there she would see a gnarled piece of wood sticking out among the shaded ground and dead leafs. She’d stoop down, pick it up, and continue on her way on a seemingly never ending path from stick to stick.
By the time, she had gathered a sizable amount of wood she found herself far away from Taomon. It didn’t bother her particularly, she knew which way she had to go to get back to the camp, she was still a cat after all, cats never lose their way. And though it was now night the full moon above provided the angel with all the light she needed.
The angel smiled up at the beautiful sight, a sense of calm filled her as she gazed upon the silver orb hanging in the sky.. unfortunately for her things suddenly started falling apart, quite literally. One of the sticks that had been stuck among the all the other twigs had the impertinence to escape her grasp and tumble to the forest floor. It was soon followed by all the others.
“For Dragomons sake!” Angel swore, moving on to say several things about sticks that would have had a small rookie digimon bleeding from his ears.
Now she had to pick up every single one of those Azulongmon damned… Huh?
While Angel had walked further and further away from the camp she suddenly found herself looking through the trees from a new perspective. Where before she had seen nothing but dirt and trees and even more dirt she could now see a little clearing, the center occupied by the most sparkling little pond she had ever seen. As she moved closer however she realized her error.
Not a pond. It was the widened bend of a placidly moving river. The water having slowed to all but a stop as it pushed its way over a damn created by a fallen tree further down.
Angel smiled.
Here was the opportunity she had been waiting for. The water was clean. The location remote.
She had the chance to take a quick bath.
Bath. The word rang pleasantly in her inner ear. Sure the water was probably cold, but she could finally be free of all the clinging dust the road seemed to have been determined to coat her with and she need it so badly now that a tongue bath was out of the question, there was just too much body to lick.
Angel started walking towards the water, a hand on her white skintight body stocking to rip it the Lucemon off of her when she halted in her tracks and looked back towards the shade of the forest. What was she thinking? She didn’t have time for a bath right now. After dropping most of the firewood she had gathered she had to go find some new. Besides Tao was probably.. Angel stopped, frowning. He was probably what? Waiting patiently for her to get back? Why should she care? It was his stupid idea to stay in the forest when they could have gone to an inn and gotten a hot tub and warm food anyways.
Angel stared at the river, then back at the forest deep in thought. Bath? Go back to camp? Clean off a days worth of dust, grime, and sweat or go back to Taomon who had made her stay here in the first place.
Taomon probably wouldn’t give a damn if she took a bit longer to get the wood than planned. Besides he’d made her come out here, if he wanted firewood quickly he could have done it himself with a little hocus-pocus.
Needless to say, the choice was really made for her already.
Angel stripped quickly, yelping when she accidently tugged on one of her wings and then dashed into the water with a grin.
Womon met water with a loud extremely feminine squeak.

------
My favorite part of this entire story! Myotismon fell into a swimming pool once when it was still winter in the real world and God did he squeal. He claims that it never happened but I know better. Lucky him anyways, he got to spend the entire evening on the couch in front of the fireplace, under the duvets with some hot cocoa and a glass of blood kindly donated –cough-stolen-cough- from the hospital. Cutting my own wrists and then having Angemon heal them afterwards is still the best thing for him but I was tired that day and I didn’t really want to deal with the bloodloss too. After Myo-chan fell asleep Kit, that’s my Gatomon, sneaked into the room and lay down on top of him. I saw how Myo-chan looked at her but he just pretended that he didn’t wake up when she entered the room. I have a picture of them on my cell do you wanna see it?
Oh right, you can see it after I´m done with the story. Let´s get back to the squeaking angel shall we?

-------

It was cold, and the riverbed was not very deep. But in a matter of minutes the temperature had been accepted as a necessary evil and the hip deep water had proved more than deep enough.
Her golden hair streamed about her as she ducked quickly under the surface. Pushing the wet hair out of her face, she resurfaced with a breathy gasp at the cold shock of the water against her face. Knowing better than to drift around and wind up with a terrible cold, Angel started scrubbing every inch of skin. Her lips twisting into a pleased smile as she washed off sweat and drift from her body. Her wings spread out behind her, the feeling of water twisting around her feathers was a strange and unknown sensation but also pleasurable.
Sure, she may not have the luxury of a hot spring or even the soap with a scent of green tea and hazel nuts that Witchmon created just for her, but it would have to do.
Oh yes, clean had never felt so good before.
She stayed in as long as she could stand, purposefully ignoring the chills that crept along her limbs.
The angel stayed in for a while, that while became half an hour and before she knew it she was shivering all over and she could see that the moon had moved too far from it´s original position for her to have been there for ´just a little while´
The angel wrung the water out of her hair, her wings were pressed against her back and even they were shivering and trembling like two upset birds. Angewomon turned around as she started walking towards the shore to retrieve her clothes when…
Angel stopped dead in her tracks.
Standing casually upon the shore was none other than Taomon, his blue eyes unreadable and his long sleeves hanging at his sides like always. Angel forgot to breath and just stared at the male digimon, ice--blue eyes widening in shock.
In the long pause that followed none of them spoke, they just stared at each other.
The Angels temper decided to take the lead
“What the Darkpit do you think you are doing?!” Angel yelled in fury. Her arms flew to cross protectively over her bare chest as she sank lower in the water, hiding herself from view. Despite the sharp flare of Angel´s temper she was unable to stop the rather impressive shade of red that rushed to her cheeks.
Several particularly creative curses left her mouth in an angry mutter as she realized Tao had unknowingly placed himself between her and her clothing.
“You were away for such a long time, I was afraid that you had gotten hurt.“ Tao told her, seemingly unfazed.
“Well I didn’t, so just turn around and leave now.” Angel ordered, wings spreading out behind her like the rattling tail of a poisonous snake She looked like an angered swan.
Taomon stood, unmoving as he watched her through his mask
“I… am sorry. Angel, please get out of the water, you will get sick if you stay there”
Angel broke contact first, unable to sit still under Tao’s gaze for long and unable to think of a great comeback now that he had apologized and explained that he was only worried about her, but she did not know how to tell the fox magician to leave without sounding mean and her sensitive ego, still bruised after her digivolution, would not allow her to beg.
So Angel did the only thing she could think of. Taking the time to shoot another heated glare in Tao’s direction, she twisted around in the water and treated him to the view of her back and wings.
A stand-off. Cold be damned, she would just have to wait out here in the cold water until Tao decided to friggin move, she was still angry at him for making them stay in the forest even though she knew it was a stupid reason to be mad, she wished she could stop but her angelic side and her cat side continue to fight for control and it confused her to her very digi-code core.
“Just go away Tao, I´m planning on staying her until sunset so go back to your little camp I’m not moving an inch!”
Angel wanted to hit herself but somehow being a brat made her feel better.
Unfortunately, it seemed that while her ego had the strength to wait it out, her body didn’t, she shivered from head to toe and let loose a loud, girlish sneeze that made her wings flex out.
Another sneeze soon followed the first. She whimpered pitifully as the shivers moved through her muscles painfully, she started swaying, not sure if she was about to pass out or not.
She was not prepared for the sudden splash in the water behind her or the strong fur covered arms that wrapped around her waist, hauling her up from the water
“Tao!” Forcefully being made to exit the water, his name left her mouth as a curse while she instinctively made fought the hold she was put in. “Let me go Tao, Let Me GO!”
“No.” She felt his answer in the tightening of his grip. His chest solid against her back as he effortlessly dredged her out of the river and onto the bank careful not to harm her wings.
For all her struggling she knew her efforts were futile, she might be stronger than him in battle but the icy water had left her body weak and cold
“You-you..” Angel tried so very hard to call him something vile and evil but she came up with nothing.
The second her feet touched dirt she spread out her wings and broke his hold.
Angel had spun around to give the magician a piece of her mind. Only to stop, remembering that she had no clothes on. The celestial digimon squeaked and ran to the neatly folded suit, she needed only to touch it with a finger and a white glow engulfed her, when the light disappeared she was once more wearing her white bodysuit but the helmet still lay forgotten on the ground at her feet as did her pearly white go-go boots.
“Inconsiderate, heartless, arrogant, b*****d.” Ah yes, there were her insults, welcome back!
“You don’t just walk in on someone when they are bathing, you Bakemon!”
Taomon stared at her evenly, Angel regretted her words almost immediately but did not apologize. Tao sighed “I am sorry Angel”
The magician made a move as if to reach out and touch the skittish teenager but the angel backed away from him, still crossing her arms over her chest as if she had not yet realized she was no longer naked.

“A decent digimon would have turned around!” Angel retorted. She was still shaking, but this time it was in equal parts anger and cold that sent the tremors down her spine. Her shouts were loud against the relative silence of the forest “Or given me my clothes!”
“Calm down,” Tao’s voice was low and calm “
“Don’t tell me to calm down!” Was Angels immediate response to the male digimon. Embarrassed and upset, something within her snapped, and Angel spoke with cold, angry voice that sounded demonic to even her own ears
“You’re the last person I would ever take orders from, what I do or don’t do is none of your business”
Had she been looking at Tao, she would have immediately realized it was the wrong thing to say.
Where before he’d been letting her verbal barrage go in one ear and out the other, here he stopped. Fists clenched, white-knuckled. Tolerant smile vanished to be replaced by an angry expression, so rarely seen on the patient, peace loving digimons face. His eyes flashed a dangerous dark blue.
She did, however, feel the clawed hands that clamped roughly on her upper arms, forcing her to turn and face him. Her wide angel eyes caught and held by his fierce ocean deep gaze. Her ears filled with the soft sound of his melodic voice.
“I have never given you orders Angel, I’m your friend, everything you do is my business because I CARE for you”
The fox mask fell to the ground without ever making a sound, Angel had no time to gasp at the sight of the silver haired humanoid just as beautiful as any Angemon as Tao’s mouth fell on hers, soft but demanding.
The motion was forceful though, his hold possessive as he drew her closer against him. The way he moved his mouth over hers was almost punishing in its ferocity. For a moment he had seen in his minds see her slender body and sparkling blue eyes belonging to someone else, someone who could make it their business to take care of her and protect her from others and herself. The mere thought of someone else gazing at her, touching her like this, it sparked something primeval and canine in him.
She was his
Eyes widening impossibly, Angel would have gasped had her mouth not been otherwise occupied. Instinctively she jerked, trying to pull away. But she was held fast as he kept her in place, flush against his body, her arms rendered useless, trapped between them. Her small sounds of shocked protest were ignored under the onslaught, her budding argument lost to silence under the press of his lips. Fingers, soft and silk like, traced over her cheekbone as one hand came up to caress her jaw.
Lightly, his tongue touched teasingly at the seam of her lips, Angel, though confused, opened herself to him.
Tao deepened the kiss. His tongue plunged past her parted lips into the depths, sweeping across the inner sanctum of her mouth possessively. Hungrily he tangled with her tongue to devour the sweet flavor unique to her being, sugar and lemon. The hand on her arm fell away and was placed around her waist instead in a loving embrace. As the kiss deepened, Angel lost all of her remaining will to fight. It was unlike anything she’d felt in either of her previous forms and for a moment she wondered if this was what love felt like, it felt natural. His hands. His mouth. The texture of his clothing as it brushed against her skin.
Pausing momentarily in his actions Tao pulled back, inhaling a much needed breath of air, the sound contrasting with the short gasps escaping Angewomon´s form as she attempted to catch her breath. His gaze held an unspoken claim as it raked over her form. He leaned in to nuzzle the curved dip of her shoulder. His lips working over the skin as he made a slow path to her throat.
Shakily, Angels hands moved up to wrap around the magicians neck, fingers burying into his silver hair. Her body began to hum in pleasure at the feeling of his lips upon her skin. Taomon left small marks, tiny nips in the flawless pale color of her skin. The possessive side, the canine side of his nature that he had not paid mind to since he was a Renamon pup, needing to show physically that she was his, his alone.
Angel shivered slightly, then moved a hand down to cup the magicians cheek, Tao paused, his eyes still clouded with feral anger and despair at the loss of control, he tried so very hard to reign in his emotions but he found that he could not.
The angel smiled softly, caressing his cheek
“It´s okay Tao.. It´s okay”
And she drew the fox into another kiss, this one so much softer than the first.
----------------------------------

I don’t think I need to tell you what happened after this. Angewomon and Taomon became lovers and they continued their paths, Taomon as a magician and Angewomon as a warrior.

So, now you have seen one of the two champion digimons selected by the king to be trained by his best fighters until she became the strongest digimon in the entire kingdom.
But.. What about her rival, Dianamon?
Well, she was facing a much different situation in the kingdom next by.Ironically, she was also wandering the woods at the same time as Angel. Only difference was that she had already been found by Wisemons men and was on her way to the castle along with some.. very interesting companions..
Oh, wait a second my popcorns are done..

….

Okay back!
..
What?.. I was hungry!
….
Oh just zip it and let me start

----------------------------------

.:2 years ago in the Kingdom of the Moon:.

“You have seriously lost what little intelligence you had if you actually think I’m going to stay under the same roof as that b*****d with everyone there to watch him humiliate me!” The statement rang out harshly over the general lighthearted chatter of the other traveling digimons as Crescemon pointed at the demon digimon with her axe, normal digimons would have backed away or at least had the decency to look scared but Beelzemon merely smirked and winked at her, making the Luna digimon splutter in anger .
One by one, the eyes all turned to the dark demon digimon who looked strangely amused.
After blowing the embarrassingly, incompetent foes whom sprang from the woodwork like cockroaches, most of them WERE actually Roachmons, to smithereens he hadn’t stopped teasing bantering with Crescemon. Killing the roachmons and deleting their data had been easy for him and Crescemon herself had also shown to be an excellent fighter. That was why they had gathered after all, the great knight championship of the moon was to be started at the kings castle in two days time and the kings servants had traveled throughout the country to find the strongest and best fighters in the kingdom. Beelzemon did not belong, he did not live in the kingdom of the Moon but the promise of battling worthy enemies and had made him join in. Beelzemon had not been with them for more than six days opposite to the Moon digimon who had been with the caravan for more than two weeks and had traveled all the way from the Sunset cliffs to meet the other fighters. She was a headstrong girl, much younger than any of the others but only half a year longer than he looked. They had both been deemed the “kids” of the group almost immediately and many of the older fighters treated them like children, Beelzemon more than Crescemon since the rabbit digimon was much more mature in her behavior, but they were still careful around the demon, he was a virus after all and even though the trusted him they also feared him.
He was a born killer, he liked blood, after watching him kill the first few digimon in a tsunami of blood and flesh, laughing as he tore them to pieces, people kept their distance.
All except Knightmon and a Witchmon who both had children back home and for some reason decided to “adopt” him for the time being, it was annoying to start with but after a while the attention felt rather good. Except for when Witchmon scolded him, he would never get used to being yelled at by a weaker digimon and still feel, not scared, just very uncomfortable and slightly angry.
It was very obvious to any digimon that Beelzemon and Crescemon didn’t match, Crescemon was a fierce warrior but she also believed in goodness and mercy whilst he believed in “Kill for fun”
They had hated each other from the very first moment they met, but behind the hatred there was something else and Beelzemon had had his share of girls, which mean that recognized that ´something´ rather easily.
Somewhere along the way, Little Miss Moon had fallen in love with him..
And she hated him for it.

It had been Sakuyamon’s idea to go to the safe houses hidden in the depths of the thick forest to rest for the night. The idea of a place to stay for the night had definitely been more appealing than trying to go to the nearest village which would not only take several hours but also rob the party of their strength, they were all tired after their fight against the Roachmons.. well.. All except Beelzemon who never seemed to get tired at all. So taking the fox up on her offer had been the general consensus. As it were, they now found themselves standing in front of a house. A rather cute house, in fact. Modest, but larger enough to house them all. Flowers had been carefully planted to created a small garden and a sleeping Blossommon was wrapping his roots around the house while he slept peacefully, snoring softly in the strong sunlight. Standing just so, surrounded by the concealing trees of the forest, the house appeared to be something beyond the grasp of the outside world, calm, peaceful, and unblemished.
To Beelzemon who was used to darker areas with shadows and haunted castles,
it seemed the epitome of Hell itself.
“Listen Princess, no one is asking you to come in with us, you could just stay out here or is that not good enough for her highness? “ The demon asked sweetly, smiling just enough for his sharp fangs to show, they gave off a malicious glow in the sparse sunlight. Most of the other warriors backed away.
The two demon digimons stared at each other, fire burning behind their eyes as they glared at each other to their best ability
“ Now, now Strider” Ever in good humor, Witchmon leaned over a much smaller Tapirmon and smiled at the young warrior, whom scowled at her instead and even hissed threateningly at the red haired witch, the female digimon however, merely cocked her head to the side, the tiny silver bell at the end of her pointy witch hat jingled merrily “You wouldn’t want Crescemon to be too tired to fight in the castles championship would you?”
Strider, the Beelzemon, was about to say something extremely rude when he looked at the female demon out of the corner of his eyes and he chose to keep his mouth shut.
“Yeah!” Tapirmon yelped with determination. Unlike Beelzemon the little genie digimon had grown incredibly fond of the Luna digimon rather quickly and even though he was very scared of the dark demon he still chose to defend her when he had the opportunity to do so, it was extremely annoying.
The little mammal digimon wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at his, as of yet unobtained, demonic moon goddess. Crescemon rubbed the front of the silver plate covering her mouth in annoyance. The long stretch of uninterrupted walking had put a damper on her tolerance and she was in the middle of deciding whether or not to expend the energy it would take to send the little tapir a fake smile in order not to hurt his feelings but like many young princesses before her the knight in shiny armor came to her rescue
“Shut up you little punk”
Or the Demon in shinning leather..
Witchmon raised one of her giant claws after placing herself between the two demon digimons and Tapirmon
“Easy sweetheart, relax, we´ve walked a long way and we are all tired let´s not start fighting amongst ourselves”
Beelzemon froze briefly at the new nickname and every single one of the other warriors did so as well, calling a murderous killer demon for “sweetheart” was just asking for a quick death.
Strider blinked twice, then crossed his arms with a roll of his eyes, the familiar smirk returned to his white lips
“Whatever”
Crescemon seethed and glared at the demon over Witchmons shoulder, Beelzemon send the Luna demon an air kiss and Witchmon had to grab the female´s arm to stop her from launching at the male demon.
“Uhm, excuse me...” Sakuyamon looked between the two men. It didn't take a genius digimon to see that the good mood from earlier was going down the drain. A look of distress crossed over the fox womon's face as she instinctively tried to keep the peace. “If it truly bothers you Crescemon I am sure we can find some way to-“
Striders green eyes shifted from Crescemon to Sakuyamon.
Sakuyamon flinched as she discovered just how unpopular her suggestion had made her. Slightly spooked, and unable to quite meet the sharp green eyes that stared at her with such unflattering intensity, she continued hurriedly as she looked over at Crescemon. “This is only one of several nearby safe houses that the forest digimons build for travelers to use. If you’d prefer you may go to a separate one for you own comfort.”
“How far?” Strider questioned.
“They’re scattered all over, the nearest is perhaps three miles-”
The Luna demon interrupted gruffly.“Tell me how to get there.”
Sakuya quickly explained the route she would need to take to find her way to the second safe house.
Seemingly satisfied Beelzemon turned to the Luna digimon. When he spoke, it was to command
"We're leaving now Princess"
"Eh?" Crescemon blinked upon the realization that Strider had turned to look at her
"What are you talking about?"
“You didn’t want me to be under the same roof as you when everyone else was there, so were leaving everyone else”
Walking purposefully towards Crescemon, he responded to her naiveté with his usual gentlemanly grace.
He grabbed her before she got a chance to explain that that was not whas she had meant.
His stride didn’t even slow. Without so much as a backwards glance, he wrapped long clawed metallic fingers around her wrist. Then, proceeded to pull the dazed female in the direction Sakuyamon had indicated.
“Oi you can’t just-” Tapirmons sentence was rendered pointless as, quite obviously, Strider could and would just leave, one stuttering Crescemon securely in tow.
Before the two disappeared, the distinct sound of feminine cursing made it’s way to the ears of those left behind.
There was an awkward pause.
Witchmon shook her head and crossed her arms
“Kid´s nowadays, that girl reminds me so much of my daughter Angel, if only Strider was more like Tao”
--------
Just in case someone doesn’t know, yes, this is the Witchmon that adopted angel, she is a diplomat and her services are shared between the two kings. Don’t you just love Strider? I do!
--------

With the blazing pace Strider set and the rough hold around her wrist, Crescemon was not in a good mood, his tail has wrapped itself around her wist, forcing her to keep up with his speed even though her metallic boots kept getting stuck on tree roots, she almost fell over more then twenty times only to be saved by the bounty hunter digimon, after a while she almost managed to free herself but Strider chose that moment to whistle loudly and before she knew what had happened she found herself behind him on a motorbike rushing through the forest.
Frustration setting in, the young digimon tried to jerk away and free herself from Strider metal tail but it´s grip was too strong. Her body remained firmly where it was, his tail like immobile steel chains around her waist. After several more attempts, with no reaction from the man responsible, understandably she became more than a little pissed.
“Strider!” She growled through gritted teeth trying in vain to make him hear her over the roar of the great machine under them “Let me go!”
He didn’t answer. The tail tightened around her, forcing the air out of her lungs, she flirted with the thought of using her axe to cut off his tail when she remembered that she had dropped it back at the house along with her shield, she could call the weapons to her but the extra added weight might make the bike crash and while she might be able to get out of that unharmed Strider might get hurt and no matter how much she hated the digimon she also loved him too much to harm him. The trees passed by at an enormous speed and she wrapped her arms around the digimon in front of her, she could feel her heart beat in her chest, frightened yet excited. The tail was still around her and it was starting to leave an angry red mark under her blue corset
“It’s starting to hurt Strider!”
Her words must have reached whatever pea brain the demon had in that thick skull of his because his bike slowed down just a little but it was enough to make the ride more comfortable. His grip relaxed enough for her to breath properly. The digimon sighed, she leaned her head against the demons hard back, she could hear his heartbeat, it matched hers, he was warm, she had imagined the he would be cold.
She fought down a smile and settled for glaring at the passing trees instead, a Kokatorimon looked up from the road ahead and squeaked, he barely made it out of the motorcycles path unharmed.
Crescemon did not notice, she was too busy glaring at the innocent trees of the forest
“You’re awfully presumptuous you know. You just assume I’m coming with you? Maybe I wanted to stay with everyone else.” She huffed, closing her eyes as she felt Striders powerful body shift, he was like the motorcycle, a untamed beast, but so beautiful
“In fact, I think I’d rather stay with them instead of driving around in circles out here trying to find a house that we have never been to.”
The bike stopped and the Luna digimon immediately jumped off, facing away from Strider, flipping her pink silk ribbons haughtily over her shoulder, she turned far enough around to give him a glare that was somehow too soft to be out of true hatred before she started walking back the way they came. She’d taken three steps before his deep voice stopped her
“Who said I came out here for the house?”
There was something about his tone that sent an unexpected shiver down her spine. Something almost wicked and decidedly masculine. As the Luna digimon whirled around, intending to ask Strider just what the Darkpit he was talking about, her eyes met his.
She had her answer.

-------------
No more reading for the kiddies, the next scene contains kissing and fighting, just how we like it!------------
Green eyes held a dark appraisal in them as he got off his bike Behemoth and stalked the beautiful moon goddess. His movements were graceful. His lips curled into a smirk that showed his fangs just a tiny little bit
“Strider?” A touch of confusion entered her voice, even as Crescemon took an instinctive step backwards, all of her warrior training was of no use now faced with this hellish being with such intense eyes
“What…”
She didn’t get a chance to finish her sentence. The Demon left only scant inches between them as one of hand darted out to catch her chin in his grasp. This close, she could see his expression twist with amusement.
"I came out here out of sole consideration for you." He drawled, a smug look crossed his face
He fixed her with a gaze so incredibly intense and soul searching that Crescemon had to remember to breathe. It should have been obvious what he'd intended by coming out here, they had been circling each other like two love-struck Tobucatmons for several days now . But, for as much as Crescemon bickered with the arrogant demon, there was something within her that was undeniably satisfied during the mutual taunting, who loved that no matter how much she pushed Strider away he kept coming back because he cared.
Not that she’d ever admit it, she was a warrior, her pride would not allow her to act like a fair maiden in love. But still..
One of striders arms wrapped itself around her slim waist. The Luna demon gasped
“You- You pervert!” Giving something akin to a growl Crescemon twisted in an attempt to remove herself from Striders grasp. “Let me go, damn it!”
“Make me, Princess, a little bet, me against you, the winner takes it all”
Shock coursed through the moon digimons body and warrior instincts took over common sense and logic, Crescemon took the challenge with a smirk that matched the demons. She spun away from him with a yell, the demon jumped backwards as well. Crescemon lifted her hands into the air, pink ribbons swaying in the wind
“Nuova Lune, axe and shield of the new moon hear me, come to your chosen!”
The axe and shield materialized as silvery light and left behind the silver axe and metal shield. Strider watched her, impressed
“Nice princess..”
The demon held his hands out, green eyes glowing
“Beren, Hena”
Both guns appeared in the demons hands immediately, he looked up to find that Crescemon was already attacking. She swung her axe at an impressive speed in a collision course towards Striders skull, fully intending to strike down the other demon.
The attack was blocked effortlessly as Strider deflected the axe with his tail, and the shield heading towards his face, and finally the kick to the shin that came in his direction, the power behind the kick was massive, Crescemons legs were powerful. Further assault was subdued as Strider loomed over the petite bunny huntress, forcing her backwards with sharp swipes of his claws. She hadn’t taken more than a few steps away from his assault when she stumbled, her back hitting the smooth bark of a large oak tree.
Just at she’d registered that she’d miscalculated her moves, Strider trapped her against the tree. His broad chest pressing her firmly against the sturdy trunk as he planted a hand on either side of her, ensuring that escape was impossible, he held Beren to her temple with a quiet laugh. The luna digimon held still
His face mere centimeters away from hers, he smirked. “It looks like I won, and I won´t be letting go of you anytime soon.”
Positively fuming, she opened her mouth to tell the b*****d off when Strider shifted.
Calloused fingers brushed against her cheek, before tugging sharply at her faceplate, ripping it right off her face, granting him view of her pale pink skin and full crimson red lips. As she instinctively tipped her face upwards, he moved in.
He kissed her.
Rough, greedy then slowing down to a lingering, honeyed glide of his lips against hers. A sharp twist and he’d ripped the helmet off her head, allowing her hair to flow loose in a wave of molten gold. His fingers buried in the silky mass, coming to rest at the nape of her neck. His opposite hand remained splayed against the tree, his arm bending as he leaned progressively further upon his princess soft body.
By the time they’d broke for air, her breathing was already coming noticeably quicker and he hadn’t even broken the surface.
He took her still parted lips as an open invitation.
Using a more subtle method of shifting the female demon into a satisfactory angle, Strider dipped in again. The kiss quickly gained in heat and the womon warrior kissed back. Her mouth slipped open far enough for his tongue to dart in and tangle with hers.
Feeling her begin to respond to his attentions, Beelzemons hand left its post on the tree to mold to the curve her neck, stroking the smooth surface of her silky fur and in a unhurried downward direction. His fingers ghosted over the dip where neck met shoulder. Then teasingly, moved up to cup her sensitive ears, no longer hidden by the helmet, the long bunny like furry ears hand like ribbons from the top of her head, golden tinted tips glowed slightly in the orange glow from the setting sun.
She could feel the heat of his body against her.
The male demon endede the kiss and leaned his forehead against hers, he stroked one of the tender ears and was rewarded with a kitten like puur as the pink tinted demon leaned against him with her beautiful pink eyes. Despite the sensitivity lost because of his leather armor, he could feel the shiver that flowed from her body to his. Suddenly, the Lune digimon froze.
Sure, it looked like they were alone, but at the speed Strider had been dragging her she had no notion of how far they were away from the others, and they were out in the open. Apparently she needed to inform the Beelzemon of this fact "We're in the middle of a forest."
"So? If anyone sees I'll kill them." Striders voice was light and joking but she didn't doubt that he meant it.. He leaned in, lips moved against her in a sweet kiss. His words were a low rumble against her skin.
Crescemon sighed, she placed a hand on his chest and the demon stilled
“I don’t even know you ”
Strider looked down at the luna demon, green eyes glittering, always glittering, he was always smiling, always laughing
“Do you need to know?”
She looked away but nodded. The demon sighed with a quiet smile
“What do you need to know princess?”
The female demon looked up at him, lips drawn together into a tight line
“Who are you”
Strider pulled her into his arms and rested his head on top of her golden hair.
Crescemon gasped when the body holding her changed and shifted into something else, she pressed her face into his chest, not daring to look, but in the end curiosity won out on fear and she pulled back just enough to look. Her eyes widened
“Lord Piedmon?!”
-------
Bet you didn’t see that one coming! And yes, it´s mine. Piedmon has developed a habit of disguising himself as Beelzemon ever since that incident at the water park.
I have never before seen an old lady run so fast!
..Well.. Okay once, but that was pretty mean of us anyway.. Poor woman.
Back to the story!

------
He was almost celestial, the mask that had hid his face from view back in the old days was gone and she stared at a handsome young man, with lips red as blood and black lines drawn over his eyes in a cross, his hair, golden like hers but orange at the ends and curvy like a wild ocean fell over his shoulder.
But one thing struck her harder than the rest..
Now that he was in his true form she could feel his energy, pure..
“You.. You belong to one of the chosen children?”
The digimon lord nodded with a warm smile, his red and yellow eyes watched her
“Do you mind”
Not many moments passed before the female shrugged with a “Nah” and wrapped her arms around the Clown princes waist
“Kiss me”
It was an order, one Piedmon was more than happy to obey
----------------------------------------

Two years later, these two female digimons met and while they had much in common they were also enemies for they were the two digimons selected to fight each other in order to end the kings argument and thus prevent war…
The winner was granted the title of grand champion.
The loser lost her life.
A great battle followed, the two digimons were to fight in a giant coliseum and hundreds upon thousands of digimons from all over the digital world had traveled far to see the two warriors fight each other to death. The battle had begun and Angel took the lead immediately only to be surpassed by Dianamon soon after. The two females fought for hours while Taomon stood on the sidelines and cheered for his lover, Piedmon and the rest of my gang was sitting on the front rows, cheering and buying popcorn like maniacs.
Unfortunately for all, destiny is a cruel mistress and when Angemon send a heavenly arrow at her enemy Dianamon moved out of the arrows path.
And the arrow embedded itself in Taomon chest.
He fell to the ground.
And did not rise again.
The crowd went silent. That was not supposed to happen.
It was never supposed to happen.
I got a cool T-shirt from the battle arena that says “cat-fight”, look! Ain´t it adorable?

.:The Battle:.

Angel felt a weight on her shoulder and something metallic and cold against her neck. She knew what it was - knew who it belonged to. Dianamon stood behind her with the double edged axe of the half moon pressed to the kneeling angels delicate throat. She didn't care anymore. She had done the one thing she had feared more than anything else in her entire life, she had hurt the one person who meant more to her than anything else in the entire world, she had hurt Taomon, her Taomon. She was a monster and didn't deserve to live, she didn’t think she could either, a pain so powerful it brought tears to her eyes filled her and forced a half chocked scream from the very depths of her being.
"Let go off him Angel, get up and fight"
She tried to cling to Tao´s body but couldn't. She was dragged away from the body of her lover by the icy armor covered hands of Dianamon, the other womon was silent as she forced the angel to follow her and dragged her out into the center of the battle arena. The audience roared. Angel ended up on her knees in front of the Moon goddess. Tears flowed freely from her eyes. Dianamon reached down and ripped the silver helmet of the blondes head, freeing the long blond hair that cascaded down her back and hid her face from the rest of the world like a veil of sorrow as it hung around her bowed head while her body was wracked with sobs of pure agony and loss. Dianamon stood still, the sight of the crying angel hurt her to her very digital-core, what if it had been Piedmon instead of Tao, how would she feel if it had been her attack and not the angels who hurt the one she loved? She felt a strong sympathy for the angel, yet she refused to let it show, she still had to win, and even if she did not want to that meant ending the celestial beings suffering. Dianamon held her axe high over her head, ready to cut the crying angel in half.
Angel looked up, she could see the other champion with her weapon raised through a haze of tears
"Fine! Just kill me and get it over with!" She yelled in despair and bowed her head again, ready to receive the killing blow. Without Tao, she had nothing to live for. What was the point of fighting if she had no love in her life? She could not win against Dianamon, the goddess digimon was too strong.
Oh, Taomon.
“Angel”
She shivered as cold fingers cupped her chin, forcing her head up so that she could stare into her enemies pink tinted eyes

"For all that it is worth, I am sorry"
Angewomon couldn't focus on anything but the ache in her chest but she nodded in quiet understanding
"Please.. Just get it over with..”
Dianamon stared at the Angel, this was not what was supposed to happen, should one of them day it should be in a blaze of glory and in the heat of battle, not kneeling on the ground, defenseless and crying like a rookie. The moon goddess snarled in sudden fury and swung her axe, it cut a fine paper thing line from the angels eye to her cheek, crimson red drops of blood fell from the wound and rolled down the angels pale cream skin, mixing with her tears before they fell to the ground and disappeared into the dust, soaked up by the earth
"Fight for Lucemons sake! You were strong enough to kill him so you are strong enough to fight me!"
Angel looked up in shock, her blue eyes widening
"I-I didn't..." No, she didn’t kill Tao, she didn’t mean to, it was a mistake, an accident, she didn’t do it on purpose... "No!" she sobbed as she fell to the ground in a shivering heap before the other warrior, too stunned to fight or resist and hurting too so incredibly much.

"Don’t be so weak!," Dianamon hissed, raising her double edged axe into the air and snapping it around to slam into the angels side, one of the wings took the blow and cracked, making the angel scream as she was hurled through the air. She fell near Taomon - she could touch him if she just reached out her hand, his eyes were closed as if in sleep but she could see the red blood soaking through his robe.

The pain began to build and she could feel her will to resist death ebbing away, like sand in her hands as the pain in her wings forced a chocked sob out of her throat. She fought it to move closer to Tao, to touch her love one last time before she was send to the heavenly digital fields and lost him forever. She was going to lose - had already lost - to Dianamon. Something deep inside her screamed ”Keep resisting” but she knew it was hopeless. She was too weak, both in body and mind now. Angel stifled a sob as she curled up against Taomon chest, he was still warm. Angewomons fingers were clutching at his robe, as if she could somehow will life back into the dead digimon. Angel could hear the other warriors footsteps as the moon goddess walked towards her. The sound was hollow. The entire arena had fallen silent.
"He´s dead angel, leave him be and fight me"
The angel felt her body tremble as fire ran up her spine
"I'm sorry Tao" She whispered brokenly, wrapping her thin arms around the damaged waist, resting her head on the magicians bloody chest "I've never been strong enough for you, I never deserved you"
"Move Angel! I'm tired of this! I'm going to destroy the body"
The blonde angel snapped her head around and growled, a long forgotten streak of cat rising to the surface. The Ladydevimon better keep her slimy hands off her Tao!

"You. Will. Not," Angel screamed, wings expanding, one of the left ones was broken and hung limply at her side.
Dianamon cursed in italien and leaped forwards, pink eyes blazing with rage as the metallic pipes on her back started glowing with a pale blue light
"Fool! Get away from him, he is dead there is nothing you can do for him anymore!"
Angel struggled desperately against Dianamon grip as the Luna digimons strong feminine hands wrapped themselves around her neck and tried to pull her away from Tao´s corpse. She watched helplessly as Dianamon pointed her double axe towards Tao´s lifeless form to release an attack that would obliterate the fox digimons corpse. She screamed and thrashed, reaching out towards her fallen love with her bleeding fingers "No!"

::..Angel...::

The angel digimon didn't think, she just reacted, twisting in the moon goddess grasp and swung her leg at the surprised digimon “Divine kick!!” with all the energy s he could gather in that short heartbeat she send a blast of celestial energy down her leg and kicked Dianamon in the stomach. The crowd roared, some in protest others in cheer. Dianamon stumbled back, clutching her stomach with a pained expression for only a few precious second before she stood straight and looked at the angel with fiery eyes
"Better" Dianamons furious expression should have terrified her, but she was numb
“But not good enough! Arrow of Artemis”
Several daggers of ice shut out from the goddess back and impaled Angel´s body before she had time to react. She screamed, falling to her knees in agony.

::Fight her Angel.::

She was losing her mind, Angel was sure of it. The angel could hear Tao in her head. Was he talking to her from the heavenly fields?
"Leave...her...alone..."

Suddenly the pain meant nothing. Tao? Had she imagined it? Had she heard Tao?

"That is impossible"

The champion raised her head to see a shocked Dianamon staring at... Angel snapped around to see Tao´s blue eyes were slitted open and watching her.

"Tao" She breathed, trembling as relief poured through her bleeding body. Dianamon watched the two, she recognized that look, how often had she not looked upon Piedmon with those same eyes? A plan started forming in her head. She would get the angel to fight her

"Fine," Dianamon hissed, moving next to Taomon to stare down at him with vicious red eyes. "I shall kill it myself."
Angel watched in horror as the goddess drew her axe back to swing at Taomon. She looked at her lover's face - Tao was looking at her, pain in his eyes, but something else...

::Angel. Help me.::

She didn't know where she found the strength or the will, but she was moving, lunging towards the other warrior, pain forgotten, nothing more important than protecting Tao from the other digimon. Dianamon had no expected the angel to react so quickly and was tackled to the ground with a very feminine squeak of surprise.

Angel rolled away from the moon goddess and stood protectively in front of Tao, determined not to let him get hurt any more. She would rather die than see him get hurt again
The angel spread out her wounded wings and lifted herself into the air, a white and red glow engulfed her petite body and hid her from sight, Dianamon took a step back
“Angewomon, digivolve to..”
The white clothing in her form dissolved into data and wrapped itself around her like coiling snakes as her skin glowed as if covered by thousand upon thousand of diamonds. A pure white light flashed in the arena and all the on lookers were forced to cover their eyes with a surprised gasp.
When they looked again Angewomon was no more.
A giant dragon with purple tinted fur and shimmering green eyes looked down upon Dianamon. The dragons had giant horns on top of its head, black and red and pointing backwards, ten feathered wings kept the digimon in the air as she soared above the arena, pale purple claws and white teeth glowing in the light of the sun. The dragon lifted her long powerful neck and roared, whipping her tail though the air
“Magnadramon”
The giant dragon put her hind legs down on the ground and the her front legs as she landed in front of her beloved, teeth bared threateningly at the goddess as she stared at her with burning emerald eyes
"Mine" She snarled with a deeo, powerful womons voice, tail bristling and snapping behind her as she took one step towards the other digimon. Magnadramon seetehed, she would not let Dianamon take Tao away from her again, never again!
Dianamon smiled and raised her double axe, the fire in her eyes blazed almost as strong as the one on the godly dragons
“Not bad angel, not bad”
Magnadramon ignored the other goddess when she spoke.

------------------
Now remember that I myself am the owner of a Gatomon, a beautiful feisty little lady named Kit, and that also means that I am the owner of a Magnadramon and I tell you she was HUGE. I had never before in my life seen a Magnadramon that big. She looked truly amazing, not that I don’t think Kit looks amazing too no, no, but still..
What?
Oh yes! The story! Sorry.. Where was I? Right.. You see, Dianamon charge at Angewomon and then-
