[A]shriel--last post for the night--
Ashriel glanced around as she heard the voice before glancing down at him. "What are you?" She asked again, smiling. Of course, inside she was slightly freaked by the fact that she was accepting this so calmly. Perhaps living alone was driving her insane...or just making the implausible easier to accept. "You know what, if you won't say what you are, at least give me a name of some sort to call you by." She told him, her focus now on cleaning the papers off the table that he'd messed up while 'playing' with them. What is he?

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Goodnight. I was about to head to bed soon anyways.))
Raevyn's mental voice chuckled, amused that she was taking it so well. "I'm a cat." He told her simply, knowing she wouldn't really believe him. She was convinced he was something else. And he was. Kinda. "It's a little hard to deny that I'm a cat. But you can call me Raevyn." He hopped up onto the table, having a noticeably easier time now, without the splint on his leg. There he sat, letting Ashriel puzzle over his words.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Raevyn. Okay. And I realize you are part cat, but what else are you?" Okay, she did know that he had to be at least part cat. Ashriel moved the papers from the table and stashed them in a kitchen drawer. "And why'd you have to mess up my paperwork while pretending to be a normal cat?" Then again, if it weren't for the physical signs, I would think that he was just a figment of my imagination.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Does it matter? I'm a cat and that's all you need to know." Raevyn asked her, his amber gaze locked on her face. "As for the papers, I felt like it." He flicked his tail in what seemed to be his version of a shrug. "Same reason I do anything. Simply because I want to." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Fine." Ashriel told him, as she heard the buzzer on the oven go off, telling her that the pizza was done. This time she pulled out the shelve using an oven mitt, and she scooted the pizza back onto the cardboard circle. She shut the oven, setting the pizza on the counter before she hit 'cancel'. Slicing the pizza into eighths, she got out two plates. On each she slid two slices, and she set both plates on the table before sitting down and eating off her own. Rather mysterious.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn watched her as she dished out the pizza, making sure he was getting his fair share. He was definitely not missing out on pizza for "cat food". He gave a cat's smug grin though as she brought two plates to the table. He moved to lay before the second plate, paws tucked under his chest as he leaned over and began eating. He purred happily, tail waving slowly in pleasure. Pizza was soo good. It was a treat for him as he didn't have it often, but he always loved it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel finished off her two slices quickly, and she stood up to get herself another two slices. Taking a deep breath, she carried her food to the table, eating them as she watched him carefully.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn took his time eating, savoring the taste of the pizza. "Do you have to stare at me? I'm trying to eat?" He asked without looking up from his pizza. He finished off his pieces soon enough. He stood and leaped the distance to the counter, landing carefully so he didn't jar his back leg which wasn't entirely healed yet. Grabbing another slice of pizza in his jaws, he jumped back to the table and set it on his plate to eat. Apparently he had manners, at least sort of. "Man I love pizza." He muttered, chowing down on his third slice. The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shrielAshriel rolled her eyes lightly. "I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to mess with serving you. Now, where exactly are you going to sleep? Now that I know you are intelligent, you sure as hell aren't gonna be in my bed." She said, quickly finishing off the last of her pizza. "By the way, that last slice is yours." Standing up, she slid her plate into the dishwasher, walking back to the table once she had. Where does he intend to sleep?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "I'm quite independent. You don't need to serve me, unless I can't reach something." Raevyn retorted, still eating his pizza. His head shot up though as she forbid him from the bed. "Hey! I want the bed! Those pillows are soft!" He stared at Ashriel, amber eyes daring her to argue with him. "I will be on that bed by morning. Just try and keep me away from where I want to be." The tiger that should be....isn't....

[A]shriel"Fine. Just not under the covers!" She requested now, looking at him. Ashriel's eyes were rolling, honestly curious as to what he was. I might feel uncomfortable if he was to get THAT close.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn snorted, flicking his tail dismissively once. "I've got fur. What in the world do I need blankets for?" He told her, rolling his own eyes - an odd sight for a cat. "And I said I wanted the pillow. Most blankets don't usually go up over the pillow." He said, as if explaining things to a small child. [A]shriel"Okay, so I forgot." Ashriel rolled her eyes, heading into her bedroom to change into her pajamas. She left the door slightly cracked, as usual, and she began to undress. Fun, fun. I'm sharing the apartment with a cat that isn't only a cat.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn ignored the slightly open door, jumping back to the counter to grab his last slice of pizza. He ate it right on the counter this time, not bothering to take it back to the table. He kept his ears twisted back, listening to Ashriel moving around. He finished his pizza quickly then hopped to the floor. He had to try it one last time. Flickering to his human form, he immediately felt the strain and knew he wouldn't be able to hold it long. He muttered a curse before letting himself change back to a cat. The tiger that should be....isn't....
