Luna Luna heard the bell ring downstairs, but he didn't move an inch. His chest slowly rised and fell as he breathed in, searching for his mother's astral signature. He hadn't been able to find it for a couple weeks. It was something that worried him, but he tried to tell himself that she was okay. Luna couldn't accept something bad happening to his mother. The door slowly creaked open. He ignored the intruder.

Xavier sat up in his chair as the bell rung. He wiped his face as if he was asleep for more than six hours. He pushed himself of the chair and began to walk out of the room and into the hallway. People were walking through the hallways as Xavier paid no mind to them. Xavier saw people as shadows because when the sun came up they would disappear. The time was Lunch and Xavier was fairly hungry.
Xavier came into the room silent no word uttered from his lips. He looked through the room and saw a new girl was in the house. He placed his hands in his pockets and walked to the far end of the room and sat down at a table. Xavier laid his head on the table and waited for One of the People to Say that the food was ready. he closed his eyes and listened to the silence of the room not wanting to be disturbed.

"41...42...43..." A voice came from a room shared by two of the occupants of this establishment. "44...45...46." A slow steady counting behind the closed door. A regular sound around this time of day. "47..48..49..50" A sudden pause as the voice inside went quiet. The number had apparently been reached as the sound of two feet hitting the ground echoed somewhat thru.the door.
The room of Alexander Belmont. A young man still seemingly unsure of the.things that went on within the facilities walls. The lunch bell even thru his workout was easy to hear. He showed little care tho. This whole day already he had spent within his room. It was likely to bring a form of punishment upon him but he did not care currently in the least. Another "student" as he liked to call them was arriving today. On more person to be.trapped within these walls and given a show of caring that was in his mind atleast nothing but fickle lies. How long had it been now since he had been refusing to take his medication to help his "condition" atleast two days now wasn't it? Yes,no,maybe? He couldn't remember exactly. Without the medication atleast for the moment while his mind felt sharp his short term memory seemed to be waning. How long could he go this time before one of the staff figured out what he was doing. Not much longer he figured but that did not even seem to matter to him. Just something to break up the monotony of this place.
The.sound of his stomach.growling brought him out of his mind. His body needed nourishment and badly. His workout had robbed from him the last bit of spare energy his body had to work with. It needed sustinance, sometuing he would be glad to partake of. To refresh his reserves and get him out of the room. The.smell would likely.draw him some heat from his roomate when he.got back to it. Oh well, he.could just open a window to air it out.
Changing and heading towards the dining area Alex had not bothered to wash. The scent of his persperation not as evident but not fully hidden by.the change of clothes. Food was the most important thing currently so washing could wait till later as he entered the room thay served the food in. His roomate already.present inside. Taking a seat across from him for the moment he said nothing while he waited for the.same thing as Xavier.

Ari only listened to half the conversation, leaving when she heard the doctor explaining Kat's "condition". It sounded almost like a wizard, from what she could tell. But she doubted that was quite right. With a shrug Ari hurried back to the classroom, glad to see everything was where she left it. She returned to her body with a jolt that was most comparable to the snap of a rubber band as it returned to its original size and shape. She shook her head, clenching her hands to settle herself fully back into place and regain control of her body. Not more than a minute later it was time for lunch, and she was on her way to the dining room.
Ari took a seat diagonal from the new girl, offering a smile. "We won't bite, and it'll get better. Promise. You'll have the swing of things down within a day or two. 'Ritual and habit help keep you sane', you know," she said, rolling her eyes. It apparently was something she'd heard quite often, presumably from the adults who ran the place. "I'm Ari, by the way," she added offhandedly. She usually forgot minor details like proper introductions.

Xavier took in a slight breath and felt the table move across from him. He turned his head to see it was Alexander sitting across from him. He turned his head back sideways on the table and looked out the window. Xavier never had a problem with Alexander since they were room mates. He could smell the sweat coming off Alexander knowing that he finished his workout before lunch. Xavier's stomach growled. He sat up and placed his hand on his stomach. "Ugh" was the sound he made due to his hunger, hopefully they would be serving everyone soon.

Issac slowly opened his eyes when he heard people moving. "That time already eh?" He muttered and got up groggily and walked out to get some food. Minutes later Issac popped down next to Xavier and put his head on his table.

((There seems to be some confusion, there is only one dining table :3 not multiple ones. It's just like a normal house in that aspect, only one table so everyone sits together. Please fix your posts as needed.))
"Kat." She answered back, her hands under the table tracing her scars again. It seemed this would become a nervous habit soon. She felt a little reassured at Ari's 'promise' but couldn't help but wonder as she looked at all the faces at the table. What was their illness? Were any of them actually dangerous? She lightly bit her lip, looking at the food that was laid out. It seemed to be a vegetable soup with sandwiches on the side. There was enough for everyone there it seemed, and she assumed nutrition was important in the home.
"We serve ourselves." Said Ms. Owens to Kat and she felt herself blush as she realized this nurse thought Kat wanted to be served. She had rather been just nervous but she reached forward and got some of the food, taking a bite to show the woman it was fine.
Ms. Shalen entered Luna's room with a small cup filled with a few pills and shook the boys shoulder. "You need to stop ignoring the schedule. You can't do whatever you like." The kind woman scolded him. "If you can't do that simple task, you will be moved to a different facility." It wasn't said out of anger, but rather just the truth. "Take these pills, they'll help you. Then come down to lunch, you need to eat." She stood there, refusing to leave until he listened.
(Also, the house is very strict razz we can't have everyone just skipping and everything. A mental home has to be strict after all. :3))

The bell startled Eureka, who jumped a little from her seat. Ren chuckled a little at her, who was still staring at her. She glanced at him, with a small frown on her lips, as he covered his mouth to cover his smile. "That's creepy, you know?" She murmured, mentioning his staring. He did it often, almost obsessionally so. It wouldn't bother her as much if Ren didn't have that look on his face. It was always the same, dreamy face he had. She closed her book, sighing and standing. Ren was stretching his arms, but Eureka had already moved across the room. She wasn't waiting for him, and left the classroom for lunch. She was quite parched, and would eventually become grumpy about it if only because she was peckish about her breakfast this morning. Her hunger seemed to catch up to her know, and it was apparent to see she was hungry by how eager she was to enter the lunchroom.
Ren trotted after her, much taller and larger built that the skinny and nimble Eureka. He cleared his throat, soon entering the room after her, and tugged on his fur-trimmed jacket as he did. He skipped forward, taking a seat in the middle of the table. Eureka sat across from him, who paid no attention to the other end of the already inhabited table. She kept her head turned towards the kitchen door. Ren's grin continued, finding Eureka's eagerness to eat a little cute. He was so absorbed in her, so in love with her...Dr. Banks constantly had to remind him that his love was only a part of his youth. That he shouldn't be so obsessed with her. Ren took it to heart sometimes, but then again, he couldn't help it. Unlike Eureka, however, he had noticed the new inhabit pretty quickly. That was probably because she smelled.
It wasn't insulting, no. He smelled everyone. Alex smelled like sweat, per usual, and Ari smelled like incense sometimes. This new girl smelled like the outside world. He hadn't been able to leave the institution for years, so her smell seemed refreshing. It gave him a vague sense of desire though. He longed to be gone from this place, but he knew very well he wasn't leaving any time soon. Not with his condition. He was diagnosed with some mental illness, surely, but he knew very well that it was only a facade for what he truly was. Right from the start, he knew he was a beast. But after being diagnosed with psychopathy, he sort of started believing he had a little bit of it. He grew into his mental illness; he liked to believe people had to be a little insane if they were werewolves. He glanced to Eureka.
He learned about the circumstances that led to her being here. It was shocking. It was sad. He knew her depression was somewhat caused by him, but hearing the events from her own mouth was a little morbid. She wasn't very open about it, even with him. But there were times where she would talk about it, and he took care to listen. Her mental illness was real. Eureka was one of the few that came here with an actual mental illness. While some were told they had a mental disorder from Dr. Banks, it was obvious Eureka had it before she had come here. As for what she was, well, Ren could guess. But he didn't really know, mainly because Eureka didn't know herself. She often called herself a freak, and called the rest of the people here in this institution freaks, but Ren didn't like her calling herself that. Whatever Eureka was, Ren would accept it. He loved her. He had to love her.
And so he glanced to the new girl, with the same thoughts in his head. Just how messed up was this girl? Ren was curious, but decided not to say anything. He wasn't really talkative with anyone. He looked down, after catching the newcomer's eye and stared at the food placed on the table. He quickly took a few sandwiches, ignoring the vegetable soup, and some water. He was constantly hungry. The occasional transformations and weird werewolf side effects always stressed his muscles and body. Food helped with sustaining his body more so than compared to any normal human eating food.
Eureka leaned over, taking her food slowly. She was clearly pacing herself, yet she was dearly hungry. Once food was on her plate, she absorbed herself into it, glancing up at the newcomer after finishing a good portion of her food. She had just caught the girl's name, Kat, but that was all she knew about her. Oh! And that she was her room mate. Ms. Shalen had informed her this morning that she was to room with someone. Dr. Banks also called her in to inform her, as if to make sure it was okay for her and her temperament. It seemed to them that they feared she was not mentally prepared for it. She thought that was rather silly, but then again, Eureka didn't know herself how she would react now that she had to start living with someone on a closer basis. She swallowed some soup, which proved too hot for her tongue, and her eyes watered. She pushed the bowl aside and sipped some juice before returning her gaze to the small, almost average girl. Did she know what she was? What did Dr. Banks diagnose her with? She also was curious, but was too disengaged to start a conversation.
Alas, Ren could read Eureka's face quite easily, being that he sat in front of her. So he cleared his throat and addressed the new girl. Kat. That was her name. "So, Kat, what'd they lock you in here for?" He toyed, flashing a toothy grin. Eureka choked on her food across the table and one of the nurses gave him a daring hard glare. He obviously asked the wrong, inappropriate question. "Scratch that. How old are you?"

Kat jumped, her face one of surprise and fear. Why was she here? Was this information that was suppose to be so easily spread around? She didn't want to tell anyone what she had done, how she had almost beat to death an innocent girl. She calmed slightly though as she caught Ms. Owens look at the boy, or rather man as he was far too big to be a boy and looked to be a bit older than her, and gave an unsure smile. She touched her scars without realizing she was doing it this time.
"Um, I'm seventeen, turning eighteen in a few months." Kat answered in a soft voice. "What's your name?" She asked unsure, thinking that she should ask that before asking what his age was.

Not paying much heed to those around him Alex reached out and went about getting him some food. He was famished and needed to eat. He was also likely looking to be punished for skipping his classes that morning. How close was he to them actually playing thru on there warnings of him being sent to another facility. Who knew it wasn't something he was very focused on as infront of him he took a bowl of soup and some bread to munch on along with a glass of water. It wasn't much but it was enough to tide him over till the next meal.
It didn't take him long at all to finish the food as he exhaled deeply. He had during the sitting gone thru atleast four or five glasses of water along with the soup. It was a filler to hydrate him and help fill his stomach. As he sat there his mind started to wander. What was it even that he had been diagnosed with. The doctor's words were a incoherent slur in his mind. A word he didn't quite get at the time and had likely made almost no progress towards curing. (Idk what my "Mental order" is supposed to be yet.)

While the schedule read that the time for class had begun, Firah had done nothing but remain sitting atop the cotton fabric of her thistle colored bed sheets. She peered at the wall, noting the long line of tally's lined in black against the beige paint plastered on the wall. It was two years ago that they told her that once she had been better she could leave. Of course, she knew that the coveting grin that the lot of the ones shot her couldn't be trusted.
It's been a begrudging three years since Firah had joined the numbers that made the Sousa House, and every day passing her made her more and more uneasy at the thought that she may very well never leave. White strands fell upon a pale face as ruby eyes glanced at the carpet in disappointment.
Firah had lifted herself from the comfort of her mattress and looked in the mirror, noting the many cracks made in it's corners due to a slight temper. She was a rather collected character due to the slight fact that such a thing was possible for her. The sheer thought of accidentally hurting anyone again sent shiver's tingling down the female's spine. With a quick look over to make sure everything was, well, in place, Firah had left the confines of her room, her hair pulled back into a slight ponytail due to annoyance. She made her way to the dining hall. Her curiosity peaked at the idea of a new face. She was unaware until recently that more people like them even really existed. It has been quite a bit since they have had any fresh meat. The white haired female paced to her favorite seat, assuring that absolutely no one would get a hold of it. She took note of the newbie and eavesdropped slightly on their nearby conversation out of simple curiosity.
~
Upon the end of class, Sienna lifted her petite stature from the desk she had resided in, stretching her limbs as if she had just risen from some year long slumber. A small smile plastered itself on her flower petaled lips before her evergreen eyes placed themselves on the math homework she had very well just received. The female had finished her slight stretch and simply shoved the work messily in her bag, aptly deciding that she would simply worry about such a thing much later.
Besides, she was eager about lunch time. Sienna was just as curious about the new face as everyone else was, and she was going to be amongst the first to say hello. The brunette half skipped to the lunch room, her long brunette waves landing back in place each time. She spotted that all the way to the end of the table was an unfamiliar face. "Bingo." she said as she headed to the spot in between her friend Firah and the newbie, noting that one of the few residing in the house was speaking to her. She set her bag on the floor, occupying one of the chairs next to the female sitting at the end of the table and smiled at the two. "Hi guys." Sienna said as she placed herself in one of the chairs. She new that the girl was new and hadn't known much about the guy except for his name.

Ren wasn't good with talking. He was a little erratic, if Kat could notice, as he began tapping on the table's surface. "I'm Ren. I'm already nineteen. But don't worry, you'll get out of here before me. I just have some...problems," he murmured. He scratched the back of his head, blushing a little out of embarrassed. He just lied. Anyone that was listening knew very well he was lying. Only Kat wouldn't know. Only her because she wasn't here long enough. Soon enough, though, soon she would figure out there was no cure for whatever she was or had. She was not getting out of here any time soon. Sometimes Ren thought he'd stay here forever. Honestly, he didn't know. But he decided to lie to her simply to make her feel better and calm her nerves. She seemed shy.
Ren moved for another sandwich, grunting as he did. "But you're young! I hope the nurses would let us choose the cake this time. I want ice cream cake this time," he mentioned, biting into the sandwich. He avoided the soup; he wasn't a big vegetable eater. Other than that, he kept his mouth closed. He lacked experience talking to other people other than Eureka.

Kat wondered what sort of problems he had? He seemed nice enough, though he seemed a bit spazzy and she couldn't believe that he seemed so open about mentioning his problems. She wondered how long he had been here for. Much longer than her obviously, which meant he might have seen kids come here and then go home. She smiled at that idea, because then he would know what he was talking about and that meant she would be out of here hopefully soon.
"Well, um..." She started off, giving him a unsure smile, and taking a bite of a sandwich to let her have more time to think. "Everyone has to take however long they need to heal right?" She wasn't sure if that would sound wrong to him, but she meant it in a way of saying that that meant it was okay if he stayed a long time, that he would eventually get better. She wondered what he meant by cake but instead just took a sip of her soup, looking at everyone else in the room.

Ari reached for a sandwich when the food was placed on the table, listening to the introductions. "Or we stay until they 'fix' us," she murmured, pushing away any wishful thinking. She looked up when she saw her roommate and Sienna arrive. "Anyway, this is Sienna and Firah. That's Eureka, Issac, Xavier, and Alex." she pointed each of them out, glancing then to Sienna again. "You two should talk sometime. You may have more in common than you think," she added as an afterthought. It was the most subtle way of saying 'I'm pretty sure the new girl is a witch based on my snooping'. But she didn't know how many of the others would pick up on it.
