The doctor chuckled, seeing Ashriel look away. "I guess I've bored you with the questions enough. How is your balance? Can you stand? I just need to check your motor functions quickly. Shouldn't take long at all."

Ashriel looked at him, biting her lips. "Okay." She attempted to stand, though rather dizzily. As soon as she did, she threw up. She looked at the doctor, flushed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Hmm.....That's not good." The doctor murmured to himself. He came closer to Ashriel and began examining her, trying to decide if it was the bump or something else that was causing th balance issues and nausea. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at the doctor, pale. "Well, if it helps, I woke up sick this morning." She said simply.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... The doctor nodded easily, running a quick check over the girl. "Well, it seems like nothing is permanently damaged." He said, settling back on his chair. "Just plenty of rest will bring you back to yourself in no time. I think you're good to go. I'll tell your friends and sign you out." The doctor rose and left the area. He went back out the the waiting area, glancing at his clipboard then at the people in the room. "Raevyn? Raevyn Kuro?" Raevyn glanced up at the sound of his name. "Yes? That's me." He hurried over. The doctor explained the situation, that Ashriel simply needed to rest for a day or two, then she would be fine. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel fell back onto the bed almost instantly when the doctor walked out of the room. Should she have followed? Probably. Her eyes looked around the room, tired.
Jennalin jumped up to follow Raevyn, biting her lip when the doctor mentioned rest. Would he be able to keep her home again?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded, only halfway listening to the doctor now. He was planning how to keep Ashriel at home. "Can we take her home now?" He asked absently. At the doctor's nod, he went and paid quickly. Then he went to Ashriel's room, slipping inside. "Hey Ashriel. How're you feeling? Ready to go home?" He asked quietly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"I'm dizzy. And tired. And please tell me you didn't pay for this." Ashriel went off, as Jennalin snuck in the room quietly.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn grinned at her. "Alright then. I won't tell you." He chuckled and came over to the bed, ignoring the nurse who was cleaning up to the floor. He reached out and gathered up Ashriel, picking her up. "Come on. Let's get you home." He carried her carefully, walking out of the room then out of the hospital. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn, frowning. "Now I have to pay you back." She said solidly, determined. Jennalin had laughed quietly and had snuck back out the door. Jen left quickly enough that Ash never spotted her.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn snorted. "Please. You've already payed me back." He said, rolling his eyes. "How many meals have you made for me? I know that cuts into your budget. And you're letting me live with you. This is the least I can do." Despite his teasing words, he seemed to be serious about it. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at Raevyn. "Really, I am still going to pay you back." She said, determined. "Are you really going to carry me the entire time?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just rolled his eyes again. "No you are not and yes I am." He told her simply. "Besides, it's not that far and I don't have money for a cab. I used debit to pay for the hospital." He didn't seem to be having any problems, carrying Ashriel easily, as if she weighed nothing. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel looked at him dizzily. "No, I have to pay you back." Her eyes looked at him, her body exhausted...for a reason unknown to her. As he carried her, she fought off sleep.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "No you don't, so stop arguing about it." Raevyn told her simply. "Just relax. We'll be home in a couple minutes." He blinked in surprise at his use of the word. He'd never really had a place he'd called home before. Even his apartment at Sanctuary was simply a place to live. The tiger that should be....isn't....
