"I love you too." Daemon said returning the kiss. "Good night." he said laying down beside her, lovingly wrapping one wing around her as he snuggled close.

Larai awoke late, late in the morning - borderline afternoon in fact. Noticing Daemon's wing still around her as she slept, she couldn't help but give a big proud grin. Carefully, she snuggled herself closer and closed her eyes for the moment being.

Daemon was, surprisingly enough, sleeping peacefully despite what he was going through. His face was still red though from the tears of fear he'd shed at first. When he did finally awake, he simply smiled meekly at her, glad he hadn't blacked out and had hardcore sex with her or something. "Good morning..."

Larai smiled warmly back at him, opening her eyes to gaze at him ever so lovingly. She reached one hand over to caress his cheek as she asked, "Did you sleep well?"

"Well enough, I suppose." Daemon said placing a gentle hand on top of hers. Slowly he removed his wing from around her, folding it back behind him lest it get in her way.

"Not right now, thanks. And I think we should try to hold off on sex unless I feel like I'm losing it again." Daemon said with a slight sigh, thinking about his present issue as he sat up and stretched.

"Alright, we can hold off for the moment." Larai said, understanding his reasoning by it. She wasn't entirely happy about it, but she understood well enough to where she didn't protest.

"So how do you think Milly will take all this? I'm a sanity slippage away from being the father from hell again." Daemon said looking down at Larai, his wings now folded neatly behind him now.

"I...I don't know." Larai said, her smile now fading as she went on to hug Daemon once more for comfort. "I'll do my best to prevent said sanity slippage, though. I promise."

"I know, and that's all I can really ask of you." Daemon said placing a hand on the back of her head as he hugged her close for a few moments before finally going to get up. Milly was probably already suspicious the way they woke up so late yet had no sex.

Once again, Milly had already made herself breakfast. She could feel Daemon's darker aura oozing through the cave, and already had an easy guess as to what was going on. She dearly hoped things wouldn't go downhill from here, like she predicted they would.
