Good morning everyone!
My first day of Spring term went very well. Already I can tell that I'll be enjoying my professor for my English Studies class. She seems nice, and very fun. She even admitted that she's been playing WoW and DnD lately; she working towards her Ph.D. and her research is on Female Video Gamers. Pretty cool, I think. xd A lot of my old classmates from past terms I'm having as classmates again this term... and we're pretty much taking the same classes as each other, which is pretty amusing.

It got really cold last night that my locks on my car doors were pretty much frozen closed. xd I couldn't get in through the driver door... had to get in through the front passenger door ((the only door that - thankfully - unlocked)) and crawl over to the other side. Once I had been driving for awhile and had the heat on, the locks opened by the time I got home. So I didn't have to exit my car the same way I had to get in, lol.

*sighs* For my 20th and 21st C. Lit. class, our final paper will be on a book of our choosing. However, the guidelines is a non-Western, post-colonism book. So, now I just have to figure out what book I want to do. Sort of hard when most of the locations of literature I would be interested in reading, technically classify as being "Western" literature.

Off to take a shower. Then I'll continue my search for a book I could potentially use for my paper. *shrugs* Or at least create a list of books that interest me, read them and then decide from there on which one I want to work with.

I've got some literature works bookmarked. Most of them are by Japanese authors.

bislas fiction or non fiction??? Either one is fine. Basically the guidelines for the book has to be: arrow Written during the 20th or 21st Century arrow Post-colonism arrow Written by non-Western authors ((any authors who were born in a different country, but now live in the U.S. or Britain are out)) arrow Be nice if it was translated into English, that way I am able to read it *shrugs* But I've got a whole bunch of books I have listed that I found looking on various websites and on Google Books. So... I have selection of books I may potentially find a book that I will decide to do my final paper on.

Good afternoon everyone. Just got back from class about 10 or so minutes ago. I'm really excited about my Cinematic Suspense Film class. The first film we'll be watching is The Haunting. 3nodding I don't think I've seen the film before; heard of it though.
Dad has pretty much slept the whole day today. He's been hurting pretty badly. Not sure what he did to cause so much pain for himself. *shrugs* He was up for a brief period before I left for class, but went back to bed as soon as I left. He's still in bed right now. sad Hope he gets better soon.
There's a chance we'll be getting snow later this afternoon. The forecast is predicting the snow showers will start around 4 pm - so in about 2 hours. *shrugs* We'll see what happens...

Anyway... I'm off to do my reading homework. Then I'm going to start going through the books I have bookmarked. Some of them I just bookmarked because I liked the title and/or the author was born elsewhere. In the end, hopefully I'll figure out which book (or books) I'm thinking of using... just in case my professor denies one but approves another. *shrugs* Um... yeah...
Later.
