 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Well I don't think you are." Raevyn retorted. "And as I'm the stronger one, my opinion rules." He told her, settling her on the bed. He sat on the edge but stayed human this time.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn crossed his arms, rolling his eyes at her. "Well to begin with, not everyone is stupidly stubborn." He said in a drawl, then shrugged. "In all honesty, I don't know. I'm a cat, so stop asking me human questions. Never forget, no matter how much I look or act human, I'm still just a cat." Despite his teasing smile, there was a seriousness to his words. It wouldn't do for Ashriel to forget that he was still a wild animal at heart. He never had been and never would be like any normal human male. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn rolled his eyes. "I've noticed your sexist." He said in a drawl. Then he smirked. "But yeah, that's probably why. I'm not exactly normal. I don't have this huge complicated human way of thinking about things. Animals solve things in much simpler ways." Course that same thing had gotten him in trouble before but he didn't care. Ashriel couldn't help but laugh as she glanced at Raevyn. It was kind of funny, the way he spoke. Oh, no. What was she doing? No, stop. Her eyes looked at Raevyn gently as she grinned softly. Really, she wanted to say something that wasn't while she was sleeping. But how was she supposed to say it?

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn chuckled. He reached over to tuck the blankets in around Ashriel. "Try to get some sleep. The body heals best when it's resting." He said softly. Then, satisfied that she would stay for awhile, he flickered back to his cat form and crawled onto his bed. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel closed her eyes, realizing that if she was sleeping, she was less likely to say something stupid. Well, eventually she'd have to find a way to tell him, and ask him what he thought about her. Slowly she fell asleep, breathing lightly. In her sleep, she squirmed a bit, her arm going over to Raevyn's bed.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn settled in his bed, half-drowsing. When he felt Ashriel's arm over him, he glanced at her. Nope, still sleeping. 'Are we back to this again?' He asked himself with a sigh. Then he flicked his tail in a shrug and ignored her arm. As long as she wasn't choking him, he was fine with it. Ashriel was one of the few people he trusted so he knew she wouldn't intentionally hurt him. It was the unintentional that kinda worried him. But he simply relaxed and fell asleep.

Ashriel pulled Raevyn close to her in her sleep, opening her eyes to see him right up next to her face. "What the-" She still wasn't awake enough to know what the black blob was.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn drifted in and out of sleep the whole afternoon. He was only half-awake himself when Ashriel woke up. "Just don't choke me again." He muttered drowsily. He turned, cuddling up to her. She was warm and soft, which was good enough for his cat mind. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel realized, after a minute, what was going on. Oddly enough, her entire reaction was smiling. She held him close, one of her hands moving to pet him.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn seemed to relax even more, curled against Ashriel. He purred as she pet him, the sound thrumming through his chest and making it vibrate. The sound was a contented, soothing sound, one that meant he was completely relaxed - Not something he usually did around humans. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel continued to smile as she heard the purr, gentle to her ears. Her eyes were still on him, although they closed as she continued petting him. After a few minutes, her stomach growled loudly. She ignored it, still rather tired.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flicked his ears at the sound of Ashriel's stomach growling. "You hungry?" He asked with a drowsy laugh. He yawned and stretched without opening his eyes, accidentally pressing his paws against her chest. He didn't realize what he done as he still hadn't opened his eyes. The tiger that should be....isn't....
