"Alright. Be ready to get me out of the fray, though, if they attack." Larai spoke, offering Daemon a light kiss after she got up before heading on towards the entrance to investigate.

"They'd have to be monsters to attack a beautiful lady such as yourself." Daemon said with a smile after returning the kiss and seeing her off.
Jaquel slowly made his way through the cave, guard up and blade drawn, eyes darting around the dim cave knowing the demon could be hiding in any shadow.

Larai soon approached Jaquel warilly, relaxing once she saw that it was just Jaquel. "Mister Galandria! What are you of all people doing here?" she asked with a chuckle.

Jaquel sighed. It was worse than he thought. Poor, sweet Larai was already under the demon's spell. "This is a demon we're talking about. He's probably just waiting to find some other poor soul to possess like he did me. He can't be trusted!"

Larai replied with a small frown. "Please don't go in there and start fighting him. He's trying to be a good person, he really is, but people starting fights with him makes it incredibly difficult to fight aside instinct. Thankfully, he won't turn so long as I remain near."
