Good afternoon everyone. Sorry that I'm posting here later than usual. I ended up sleeping in until 11-something in the morning. Then didn't really do much other than watch my parents do their tax stuff, and then eat lunch, and took a shower. Mom and I just finished watching Mary Poppins. Now I'm here in Why Not...

Yes... my second day of babysitting my second cousins didn't go so well yesterday.

The evening started off bad when I started making the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the kids. I had just taken some bowls out of the cupboard and was starting to put them on the counter. Just as I was about to put the second bowl on the counter, it slipped out of my hands and crashed onto the kitchen floor breaking. Thankfully only me and my Aunt were in the kitchen... and the bowl only broke in big pieces, so there wasn't much to really clean up. But, oh how I felt about it... I still feel bad about it even right now... My Aunt told me not to worry about it. That they didn't have any "fancy chinaware" around their place and that they already had mix-matched plateware as it was. *sighs* Then the evening got worse as I started working with the kids. Apparently Zachary, the youngest of the two, has been having some issues lately; hasn't been minding much at home or at school. Certainly caused a whole lot of trouble when I was trying to make them sit and eat their sandwiches, and do their homework. Of course, it only made it worse that Zachary kept trying to copycat his sister Celina's moves every moment - much to Celina's irritation. *sighs* Their homework did get finished... or at least what I remember what needed to be done. I was getting so flustered with trying to keep order in the house, that I'm sure there [/

Despite all of this, I will still babysit the two kids. It's a job - one that I just miraculously was offered. And doing these times there's not really other options I could turn to. Not to mention, I'm not going to quit just because one bad evening. It was just a show of what I may potentially have to deal with again... though I really hope that I won't have to. I would much prefer if the kids were more easier to deal with like I had to deal with on my first day of work. *sighs*
