 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and pointed at the couch. "Don't move. I've got it." He hurried over to the phone and answered it before Ashriel could strain herself over it. "Hello?" He kept an eye on the girl as he spoke, making sure she stayed on the couch.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin's voice came ringing immediately out of the phone. "Hey, how's Ash doing?" So she called to make sure that Ash was doing fine. At least she said hey this time!
"Who is it? I wanna know!" Ashriel managed to stand herself up anyway, ignoring the fact that Raevyn had told her NOT to move.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... ((Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. I have a lot of rp's to catch up on when I first log on. Give me a chance before you start bumping and stuff. XD ))
"I told you to stay on that couch!" Raevyn barked at her, pointing furiously at the couch. Then he turned his attention back to Ashriel. "Sorry Jen. Yeah, she's mostly okay. Lethargic but stupid." He said, tossing a glare at Ashriel. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin shook her head gently. "That's Ash for you. Anyway, I figured that you are probably running out of foodstuffs since it has probably been three or four days since she went to get groceries. If you can negotiate her back into bed, I might be able to come over there and keep her in it." She paused for a moment, not really long enough for Raevyn to be able to speak. "By the way, next time I have to cover for you, you will become Ash's boyfriend." And by the way Jen said it, it was obvious that she was being perfectly serious.
"It's Jen? I wanna talk to Jen~" Ashriel whined, going closer to Raevyn and the phone, utterly ignoring his command to go back to the couch. Well, he'd run out of points.
--btw, that was just a randomness post. :p not a bump. just me being bored and saying something random. yeah...--

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn growled quietly. "Back!" He said, jabbing his finger at the couch. "You can have the phone when you are seated on that couch." He told her, then spoke to Jen. "Yeah, I was about to head out and get some. So it'd be great if you could be here if only to guard the door." He eyed Ashriel then suddenly sputtered as he realized what Jen had said. "Wait, what?! Whoever said anything about being her boyfriend?!" He demanded of Jen, wondering where she'd gotten that idea. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel pouted, meandering back to the couch, if only to speak to Jen. Her eyes were glued on Raevyn stubbornly. For one reason or another, she didn't pick up on the conversation. That is, until the word boyfriend was uttered. "Boyfriend?" She chimed in, rather confused by the fact that it was mentioned.
"I'll be right up then." So Jennalin had already been at the building. As if that was anything new. "Oh, as I was coming up with excuses it was the first one, other than you being her neighbor, that popped into my head. And now I kind of like the idea." She told Raevyn as she walked smoothly up the stairs, still on the phone. "Open the door." Now she stood at the apartment door, still on the phone.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn hung up without a word, stalking over to open the door with more force than necessary. "I am not her boyfriend." He hissed at Jen, glaring for a moment. Then he moved aside to let her in. He didn't close the door though, merely leaning against it. "Think you can guard the door?" He didn't expect Jen to be able to keep Ashriel on the couch, but he hoped she could keep the girl in the apartment. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Sure. I brought nail polish." Jennalin smiled as she pulled out the vial. She rolled her eyes at Raevyn. "Hey, Ash. I brought my nail stuff."
"Ooh! Hi Jen!" Ashriel looked wide eyed at her friend. "Did you bring-"
"The purple nail polish? Yes."
"Yay!"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised an eyebrow at them. "And on that note, I'm outta here. I'm not sticking around for your girlie crap." He lifted a hand in farewell then walked out the door, closing it behind him. He had grabbed the soiled curtain on his way out and took it to do a load of laundry. With that started, he headed towards the store, to buy food. The tiger that should be....isn't....

In a matter of minutes, the smell of nail polish filled the tiny apartment, and Ashriel's toenails were a wet purple. That meant she couldn't walk without ruining them; she didn't like to ruin her nails. So she was going to stay put for a while. Jennalin let Ash paint her toenails a light blue color, as usual. By the time that they'd finished, all of Ash's nails were a vivid purple, Jen's a light blue. Every time Ash's toenails dried completely, Jen claimed they needed another clear coat and Ash believed her. Thus, Jen managed to keep Ash in one spot the entire time.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... When Raevyn finally returned awhile later, he coughed as he entered the apartment. "Oh gods above, that's awful." He muttered, almost gagging on the strong scent. Setting the groceries and curtain down, he hurriedly opened every window in the apartment. That done, he set to work putting stuff away. "Jeez. Couldn't you have opened the windows? Do you know how disgusting that scent is, especially to someone with hypersenses." He wrinkled his nose. He was so distracted by the scent that he hadn't noticed Ashriel's lack of movement. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"We were kind of busy." Jennalin commented, applying one last clear coat to Ashriel's toes. So what if they had at least five clear coats now? A sixth won't hurt them. Finishing, she stood up, screwing the caps onto the nail polish. "Well, I'll see you later Ash! I have a detention to attend." Jen walked to the kitchen calmly. "You have twenty minutes before she'll try and get up. By the way, she would never mess up wet nails." She left, knowing that Raevyn would figure out what she meant.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn nodded absently as he worked. "Alright. I'll keep that in mind. See ya Jen." He mentally tucked that note away for later, knowing it would come in useful. He finished putting the groceries away then went to hang the curtain back up. That done, he settled on the edge of the couch again. "Well, we have food for the next while, curtain is clean, and I now have a copy of your key." He told her lightly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

When Raevyn spoke, Ashriel finally caught on. "Wait- was Jennalin here to...baby-sit me?!" She exclaimed, looking at him. Honestly, she'd noticed him leave, but she'd thought it was just a coincidence at the time. Come on, she wasn't Lix. She wasn't gonna fall for that stuff, not when it is that obvious.
