Going to watch Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow for my analysis. So... later.

Good evening everyone. Sorry that I haven't been posting much for the past few days. With both the combination of holidays and school work, I haven't been getting onto Gaia all that much. Especially with essays starting to show up on the assignment schedule now... which takes some time when you're having to brainstorm the flow of your essay right on the spot and trying to figure out how to connect almost all of the selections you've taken from certain texts or other sources.

And speaking of essays, I'll be starting to Carrie (1976) in a bit in order to start working on my essay for Suspense Film Thriller class. We have to bring a thesis statement to class on Thursday. I haven't even done anything for that essay yet, other than choosing Carrie as the movie from the recommended list. *shrugs* Hopefully with watching the movie ((which I thankfully found online to watch, since Netflix doesn't have it available as an Instant Watch film at this time)) it'll spark some ideas for the essay.

Gaia's new toolbar thingy is really weird. Sure, it's a bit more compact than the old was... just a tiny bit... but I don't know. I never used the toolbar before, so... *shrugs*

*sighs* Having to wait for a half hour until I finish the rest of the movie, since I'm watching it through Megavideo.

La di da...
I think there's quite a few things I talk about the use of reflection, both in the actual literal mirror sense and in the metaphorical/film shot sense. It would go in a similar place as The Shining does, I guess. *shrugs*

Maybe after I'm done watching Carrie, I can watch another episode (or two - depending time and how tired I am) of "To The Ends of the Earth."

I believe enough time has passed that I can start watching the rest of the film. Let's see...
Yep. :)

Done watching Carrie. Got spooked at that last bit when the girl (in her dream) was going to the site where the White house burnt down. The calm music certainly makes you feel like everything's alright and everyone, both in the film and the film audience, will be able to move on. And then - BAH BAH BAH! *hand rises out of the rubble* Or so you thought! Muahahahaha!

Well, I'll probably only be staying up to watch the one episode. So, I'm going to go ahead and log off of Gaia, so I can turn off my computer and head to bed instantly after finishing. Nighty night everyone.

*sees one of her past classmate's statuses on Facebook* Hmm... it looks like my school may potentially be getting snow as well. Maybe I should take my camera with me to get pictures of that's the case, lol.
