Tsumi Minamoto opened the front door of her semi-empty home and stared at the sky. She sighed sullenly, putting her hand over the two daggers-Jigoku (Hell) and Gokuraku (Paradise)-in their sheath and strapped to her side. 'I'll make you proud, Okaasan, Otousan.' she thought, 'But for now, until I get a team, I have to train.' She put her hand down from her side and looked back into the house. "Rai-chan!" she called, "Let's go! We're gonna go train!" 'Well, at least, I am.' she thought. Rai was Tsumi's pet cat, not a ninja cat, but Tsumi didn't want to leave Rai behind. Rai was the only family she had left. She never liked being separated from her cat, even when her parents were alive. The two were more than pet and owner, they were best friends. Sometimes, Rai knew Tsumi's feelings and Tsumi knew Rai's, but only if the emotions were really, really strong. Rai came bounding out of the house, mewing to Tsumi. The ninja girl held her hand to Rai and the small cat jumped and scurried up to her owner's shoulder. "Okay," Tsumi spoke to herself, "Got Rai-chan, got Jigoku, got Gokuraku, got ninja necessities. I'm good. Let's get!" The ninja locked her home's door and set off to find a place to train. {EDIT: Talk about an opening post, haha. It's long and the first on this page! XD}

Zevran sighed again as he watched his lighting hounds go about the village stirring up trouble "...Its has been along time since I have seen peace like this..." he said as he stared upon the village.

Kikou came out of the ground behind the man and held a kunia at the back of his neck "I think you should call off your hounds Sir"

"...If you wish..." the lighting in his hand dissipated away and the hounds also vanished along with it "... tell me do you intend to kill with that toy?..." Zevran turned around and stared Kikou down with the kunia now at his face. He showed no fear or seemly no emotion.

Zevran blinked and nodded and he brushed away the weapon and arm "...I have no problem with that..." he said as he walked past Kikou and then waited "...well? you coming..." he asked the ninja.

Zevran walked the path he was pushed in, after awhile he spoke "...what would you do if this peace lasted forever? ..." he asked suddenly. He waited silently for a answer.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri chuckled, letting the snake disappear. She blushed as Nowe looked her over. She brushed back a strand of her shorter hair. "Thanks." She murmured, pleased that he seemed to like the changes. She hugged him again, properly this time. "I missed you." She murmured before releasing him. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"...A real ninja is always prepared no matter what... even in times of peace..." Zevran stated as he saw himself in the village now. "...peace never lasts forever, it is foolish to think it will, even for abit..." he said sternly

Nowe smiled and hugged her back, and tightly, glad to finally see her again. As they let go, he activated his Rinnegan. "I can use it at will now. Cool huh?" he asked, returning them to their blue color. "And I've missed you to..so much. So..dinner tonight? Just you and me so we can catch up?"

Tayu smiled and hugged Kohane. "Yeah, they're kinda like badges. It also scares the crap outta the new ninja academy kids when a chuunin with scars over almost half of her body shows up to teach a lesson," she chuckled, "Man, I missed you! Can you believe it's been two years since you left?"
Kin saw the flash of light and the two figures atop the Hokage cliff and immediately changed direction to head there, running over the rooftops so quick that she'd be a blur to anyone watching. She was almost instantly in front of Kikou and the strange ninja, one hand on the giant shuriken on her back. "Who are you and what do you want with our village?" she snarled at the ninja, giving a tiny nod to Kikou.

Tsumi went into a wooded area and settled herself in a small clearing. "Rai-chan, down." she told her cat who responded by jumping from her shoulder, "Go, sit at the edge of the clearing, please, Rai-chan." Tsumi went to sit in the middle of the clearing while Rai sat by a tree. The ninja girl breathed and focused on the water within ten feet of her: the water in the air and the water in the ground. No trees were close enough, so she didn't try to focus on their water. Tsumi continued to focus for several minutes. She was trying to center herself and increase her connection to the water in her jutsus, so she could stabilize any difficult water jutsu, the only one being Mizu no Tanken. She still couldn't sustain the jutsu for ten minutes. She's only gotten to eight minutes and thirty-six seconds and even then the jutsu wouldn't obey her, the water would control her in the last three minutes of her time. She wanted to get to at least ten minutes before her first ninja mission. The scars along the lonely girl's arms proved she had been training the jutsu long and hard for a while now. Before her father had died, she remember his arm being 87% covered in scars showing that even though her father who had been able to keep the jutsu he'd created going for thirty-two minutes five seconds still trained with the jutsu as much as his daughter does now. 'I will control the jutsu, Otousan.' she thought, 'I will make you proud of me.' She continued to focus for a bit longer.
