The moment two guns were pulled out in front of him, Logan didn't hesitate to start running; and quite noisily, I might add. Twigs broke under his feet with each step along with the crackle of fallen leaves. He hadn't even thought about them turning on him from all the noise until it was too late. Silence was never his specialty, though, and he never would've made it out without a single noise. So, he ran towards the direction he'd left Nova, hoping they'd ignore him and let him go.
Nova was deep in one of the weirdest dreams she'd ever had. The world was completely different than the one they were living in and her life was happy in it. At first it started out as her by herself..then suddenly switched to her with Logan sitting in the greenest grass under the brightest sky, and a moment later it skipped what seemed like years into the future. Logan had been staring at her and she felt like a little girl under his gaze. Closer and closer he came, until his lips were only an inch away from hers; but then the picture burned and they were running through a thick forest. People were chasing after them and their voices carried over to her, "I'll make sure your death is slow when we catch you!" And "Creatures of Satan!" rang in her ears. Then slowley, their voices started getting farther and farther away and Logans voice was heard. "Nova!" He was yelling as the picture started fading, "Nova! Wake up, dammit!" Finally, she opened her eyes to see Logans wide eyes. "Hm?" She asked sleepily. "Nova, we have to go back. Now." His voice was urgant, which was what made her stand up and start running with him. Again, they were noisy, probably drawing attention from where that girl...Elodie and that guy were; but Nova didn't care. She just wanted to sleep.

Lenore watched as he held his gun up, rather pitifully too. It was a sizeable gun, one Lenore should've been wary about. However, his shaky hand and weak composition made her pity him as he looked up at her with eyes that stung with hatred. She knew those eyes. She probably used that same look thousands of times before his time. Lenore swallowed, the stand off quite tense, but it was clearly she who had the upper hand. She moved, a little to the right so V would have to move his arm before she stopped.
A sound a little farther off, like a startled rabbit, jostled the bushes near them. Lenore immediately found it a danger. A boy. A young man. No good. She looked to V, moving quickly to the other side so he'd have to keep up with his weak arm to be able to shoot her before she kicked at his arm, attempting to kick the gun out of his hand. [ Sorry, I got sick. I still am. And I really needed to catch up on school work. And I left the end of this post open, in case you wanted something to happen to V, like him shooting, or something. If not, just post, cause I'm going to have Lenore go after Logan. ]

Logan was not at all used to Nova being like this. She was drowsy and stumbling with her head bobbing up and down as if she were to far into sleepiness to realize where she was. It was normally she who was the alert one, dragging the other through the trees with a sense of alarm, but tonight the roles had switched. "Nova, Dammit!" He growled as she stumbled over a thick log laying in the middle of the woods. Is this what she had to deal with every time someone came after them in the midst of sleep when she had to wake him and almost carry him away? He couldn't recall any of those times. "Nova." He stopped and put both hands on her face, "Nova, stay awake, dammit." He shook her a little.
Nova grumbled as Logan made her run. Her mind was foggy and she hadn't a clue where she was or where he was taking her. The dream was forgotten for the moment as Logan shook her and yelled at her to wake up; and she found it strange because she remember saying those very words to him when they got raided in the middle of the night. She tried to get her barrings, but she couldnt see through the grogginess in her mind which was a terrible feeling.

A faint yelp came from V as Lenore kicked his arm. The gun went flying out of his hand and landed at least three feet away from him. Three feet that he wasn't able to reach anymore. His decent clothes were drenched in his own blood, which was a strange dark blue color, and it was still bleeding. How long could he go before he would die from blood loss? This was one of the questions that flooded his pain-filled mind, but there was still one goal he had to keep. He had to kill Elodie. He started to crawl like an injured animal towards the gun, his body shaking in fear and unbearable pain. {Sorry for not posting as much. I've been at school now, and spending half my life shoveling snow.}

Finally, Nova's senses were starting to come back. The grogginess was starting to fade, though she still stumbled loudly into trees and sticks and trunks. It was a moment before she could get her barrings and Logan kept yanking her up from her knees every time she fell. What was his problem right now, anyways?
They were back at the Willow in no time and he was barking at her to scramble up the tree with their belongings. Hiding was his best bet since Nova wasn't in any good state to run.
After she made it up the tree, he followed and sat next to her. "Just...go back to bed." he whispered to her but there was no way she could fall back asleep again.
"What happened..?" Her voice was low and drowsy, but she managed.
"I'm not exactly sure.." He answered, "I just saw two people holding guns at each other. I didn't bother staying long enough to find out what was happening."
"Mmm," She snuggled up to him, which freaked Logan out a little. It wasn't like her to snuggle up to anybody let alone let anybody touch her, but she was tired. "Probably best you didn't stay.." She opened her eyes to look up at him and he had an urgent look in his eyes, just like the one in her dream. It all rushed back to her suddenly, and she had to look away from him before her cheeks turned red.
What a strange dream to have, but then dreams are never simply normal. She had no feelings for Logan. Not like that, at least. Of course, he was important to her though she would never admit it, but 'lovers'..? No. Slowly, she pulled away from him, sitting up straight against the tree. He said nothing back and neither did she; and together they sat in silence as they had many times before.

Lenore did not kill him; it was too pitiful to watch. She watched him, her eyes lingering on the face who looked so pained. Though she personally hated other mutants, she decided not to kill this one. He was to die from blood loss anyways. She frowned, looking back in the direction of Amory and Ren, worrying for their stability. She then looked down, watching as V dragged himself towards the gun. She moved, far faster than he, towards the weapon and picked it up. She gave him a cold look, before Lenore leaped into the brush. She was after the other, far more dangerous person in this jungle, for anyone in this proximity was meant to be an enemy. Lenore dashed after Logan, meaning to kill him, and moved after him. It was difficult following his track, being that he had a head start, but Lenore pursued him, following the noise of the brush he made. She paused when it quieted after awhile. She moved slowly forward, her hand on the trigger of her rifle and V's gun in her back pocket. Lenore hunted him for a bit, watching the brush as she came under a large overcast tree.

Nova's head shot over at the light sound of someone walking and she brushed her elbow against Logan to get his attention as a woman came into view through the canopy of drooping branches. They kept quiet and kept their breath low as they watched her walk, hoping that she wouldn't see them and simply pass on by only to give up shortly after.
And that was when Logan started moving. He was standing up in between the tree and leaning out to get a better look while Nova growled lowly at him to get back down and stay down. He didn't listen and let his curiosity get the best of him. Nova was the opposite; She'd rather not know. He stepped out a little too far, though, and ended up toppling right over the edge almost bringing Nova down with him and breaking their cover.
Nova sighed hopelessly, slightly angered. Well, if this was going to be their death, she would at least face it with some dignity.

Lenore had passed the tree, but not by far as two bodies crashed to the floor. They seemed to have fallen out of the tree. Lenore turned, both her hands on the rifle as she raised it to shoot. It seemed the one that she was chasing had a friend and climbed the tree. Lenore took a sharp breath, knowing two on one was not a good idea. However, this was the here and now and Lenore didn't think she could simply run away now. She aimed at the male first, moving closer as she grew hostile. "Drop your weapons or death," she barked, her eyes showing nothing but severity.

Nova watched as Logan scrambled up to his feet, giving her a sorry look but she only gave him one cold hard stare before she turned to the girl. "We don't have any weapons." Novas growl was almost animal as she spoke; but then she smiled at the girl and moved in front of Logan so the gun was aiming at her instead. "And if you're going to shoot anyone, it best be me." Her nose scrunched in a snarl and when Logan began to protest, she shut him right up with a simple look. "But don't think that'll stop me from tearing out your jugular before I breath my last breath." She took off her eye patch and her one all white eye stood out against her face. They held the promise behind her words for if she were going to die, so would her murderer.

Lenore hesitated but remained pointing her gun. Just because this was a girl, Lenore would show no mercy. "I will shoot. You and your little friend," she murmured. The younger girl's threat was meaningless to her, for Lenore had heard dozens of threats in her life time. She watched as the girl ripped off her eye patch. There was a hint of familiarity, but Lenore did not stop to think. Alas, Lenore unlocked the safety, eying the girl. "Now, which one of you was watching? Why were you there?" She muttered. She was prepared to kill both of them. Until a yell was heard off in the distance. Lenore knew well that Ren was one to be cautious. She knew he wouldn't be yelling unless it was the utter most seriousness.
"LENNY! LENNY!!" Lenore lifted her head, and looked to the two. She eyed them, before looking back in Ren's direction. "Come near us, and I'll make sure to shoot," she growled, before darting off.

◈ ◈ ◈ ◈ ◈ ◈ "LENORE!" Ren yelled, watching as Amory failed to stay consciousness. It was difficult for him, because of the blood loss. Ren bent over him, consumed with grief. He did everything he could for him, and here he was, dying. Ren loved his brother dearly, he didn't know how else to save him other than the surgery. He just barely found him, and he was dying! Ren wasn't a very emotional man, never an emotional man, however the prospect of losing Amory was horribly nightmarish. He ignored Elodie despite her efforts to help him and he proceeded to try and keep Amory alive. He needed help. He needed Lenore.

The sound of a familiar voice yelling made Nova smile slightly. It was vaguely familiar and she tried hard to remember the name of the man she'd seen earlier that morning. Ren, was it? She remembered his coldness while she writhed in pain as Logan took a bullet out of her shoulder. "Sounds like you're needed, Lenny." She mocked her name a little and chuckled, but it was cut short. "Don't kill those who don't plan on killing you. You never know the help they can offer." She told her before she darted away.

"Don't die..." Elodie whispered into Amory's ear, as if the words were actually going to help him survive. He could tell that Ren was trying his best to keep his brother alive, but their efforts seemed hopeless to Elodie. There she was, watching another person die a death in which she couldn't control. She didn't want to watch Amory die a slow, painful death, but what else was she to do? V could feel his life's clock slowly ticking away, and with no weapons, he didn't know what else he could do anymore. He started to crawl back into the bushes, watching Ren and Elodie's attempts to keep Amory alive and conscious. He couldn't help but to giggle at their attempts, knowing that he obviously wasn't going to survive. And there they were: His supplies laid in the middle of the bushes where Elodie had left them. What a stupid girl, he thought! She didn't even think of taking anything else from his stash! He fumbled through the pile and pulled out a spare blade: A bit dull, but practical. This was it, he thought. He was going to kill Elodie. As he silently crawled towards the girl, he imagined the bloody, chaotic scene inside of his psychotic head. He neared closer, holding back some of his laughter. And then, the cold hand grasped onto her dirt-covered ankle. "GOTCHA!" he screamed with all of his might as he raised his blade, but Elodie acted quickly. She pulled out Rae's gun and started bashing V violently in the head with it. He dropped the blade as his head fell against the ground, unconscious.
