Luna Luna heard the commotion downstairs, but he had no need to enter any of their conversations. It's not that he was stuck up, it's just that he firgured the others were happy without his frivalous existence. They were laughing and chatting, he'd only get in the way. He smiled, in a depressed sense. He wished someone could need him around, but he was okay with them ignoring him, too. He was just hoping for their happiness. That is what he wanted right? He began dig into his matress. They were old, so they had springs. He dug a spring out and rubbed it against the window frame. Soon, he thought, this thing will be plenty sharp. He'd been sharpening this particular spring for about a week now, just waiting for it to be of use to his personal masochism. The only thing that made him feel alive these days was pain. Weird how the irony works, isn't it? A healer craving pain.

Upon hearing Ari's comment about her being a witch, Firah raised an eyebrow. A Witch? that was something she hadn't quite been aware of. "By the way, this is Ari." She smiled slightly as she noted that the female had forgotten to include herself. She didn't have much tolerance for many people, but Ari being her roommate made her lighten up to her. Sh was probably the only one who would get even the slightest of an amused smile from her. The female then turned to the newbie. "Pleased to meet you Kat was it?" She had overheard her name being stated in a multitude of conversations.
~
As Sienna peered around, she noted that a familiar face had been missing. Where's Luna? He was usually a highlight of a personality to have around. Unless... The female flailed her arms around in a motion that may have seemed rather unorthodox, but it made perfect sense to Sienna, seeing as how she was hopping that she would hit Luna to know that he has joined them. Of course, she knew that her efforts were futile, seeing as how shamans couldn't be seen in that specific form.
Sienna raised from her chair and managed to sneak out, thinking that being petite did have advantages. The female made it to the main hall an did the forbidden; sneak up the boy's staircase. Her intentions, however, were pure. She only wanted to see if Luna was in his room and alright, or as alright as anyone that landed themselves in the Sousa House could be. Upon reaching her destination, the female tapped on the door. "Luna." The female said barely loud enough to where she could be heard through the door.

Xavier grabbed a sandwich and started to eat. His stomach stopped making noises and started to feel normal and not knotted up. He took a glass of juice and drank it. it was cold and refreshing but Xavier didnt show the emotion that he was enjoying his lunch. He looked across to Alex and see him eating then went back to eating his food. He listened to the conversations that were being said at the table but he kept to himself like he always did. "Tastes good" he thought to himself as he took another bite.

Luna Luna began to test the rusty spring. He decided it would be awfully obvious if he slit his wrists, but that wouldn't really matter now would it? He drug it across his arm, close to his hand. He did it without the slightest hesitation. He winced at the sting, but soon broke out in a smile. Crimson began to drip in beads. "Well," he said aloud, "It sure seems sharp." He stifled a laugh. He didn't notice the tap on the door, nor the small girl outside of his dorm. Had he, though, he'd have been so ashamed. No one should have to see him like this. He thought of his mother. Well, what would she say? Not that it mattered anymore. He couldn't even feel her astral presence. Tears began to p***k in his eyes. Luna didn't know what to think. Where could she be? He drug the spring across his arm again. This time craving the pain. He couldn't be dead, right? So why did he feel hollow?

"No, Lenard. Here," the white-clad nurse insisted as she opened the dining room door. The youngest of Sousa's occupants was delivered in, led by the hand by his current carer. The boy was made to sit, and a sandwich was placed in front of him, which he stared at with dulled eyes. The nurse gave a pleasant smile and a nod to everyone else; and left.
The charcoal-headed lad lacked any of the energy or strong worded tongue he was known for. As silent as death, he sat and slowly began picking at pieces of his sandwich and placing them in his mouth. If he was chewing, he made no apparent move to reveal it.
This state was something well known, even for the few times it had appeared - not surprisingly mostly with Len. If someone misbehaved, they were reprimanded, and if they continued; they were made incapable of continuing. It was only temporary, of course. No permanent damage, just an example to everyone to be good people, to not be bad boys and girls; those who did good avoided this. The white long-sleeve the boy wore covered the needle hole, now patched up, on his right arm.
Most also knew exactly why this had come about now. Len had not taken well to a suggestion in class time to help another student. Oh, he was dilligent when working alone and in peace. The boy thrived on distracting himself with the work presented. But when other people got involved, well... The disagreement had become an argument, then things were thrown, and he was not long after dragged out.
It seemed to take a good while for Lenard to truly even register where he was, or the other people. Dark eyes lifted to the person on one side of him, his face as unreadable as those deep and dulled orbs; then turned slowly to take in the rest of things around him until his gaze caught the new person. There was as much curiosity somewhere deep in him as with anyone else, but none were shown; and he awkwardly stared, and naught else.

"Yes." Kat answered to the girl who was introduced as Firah, trying to commit everyone's name and face to memory. How embarrassing would it be to have to ask them their name again? She finished her soup and sandwich, looking at a clock on the wall and then a schedule as well. They had about ten minutes until the rest of the group would have to go to class and she would have to go to unpack.

Kat's prior comment was a little insulting. Eureka frowned, glancing at Ren, who had obviously hadn't taken it as an insult. She then gave a long, hard glare at Kat. If only she knew what they went through everyday. She scowled and looked away sharply, finishing her meal. It was plain to see, since annoyance was one of the few emotions Eureka managed to show, that she was slightly irritated. It wasn't like they had a choice in how long they stayed here! Especially Ren, who suffered many pains as he did. And he had to live the rest of his life like that. There was no cure for what they had, no solution. She hadn't seen a single soul that managed to be cured fully at this facility, only one's that had gotten worse. And to those who did, they were taken away. Eureka didn't know where they went and whenever she asked, they played dumb.
Eureka spooned up her soup hastily, not nearly enjoying her food now, like Xavier. Whatever, Kat would get used to it, for better or for worse. That was the least of her problems. Currently, she was more fixated in how long it would take for one of the nurses to see that one of them were missing. Siena. She didn't particularly know where she went, only that Luna was missing as well. She glanced at the nurse, who was currently surveying them. They'll be angry once they find out. Eureka sighed.
Ren gave a small, awkward, and forced laugh, not know particularly how he should react to Kat's comment about healing time. He had chosen to ignore it, for fear he would ponder over it obsessionally, and nodded when introductions were made. Ah, but where was Lenard?
He was seated next to Eureka, his face sullen and almost unresponsive. As his roommate, he knew well why this had occurred. And now, they had medicated him almost numb. Look at him! What a sight! He found himself staring and looked away quickly, almost paranoid of being looked back at. He grabbed his cup of water and swallowed the last of it before putting his hands on the table. No. It wasn't like putting his hands on the table. More like slamming. There was a loud smack sound and table shuddered. Ren looked slightly apologetic, but was mostly impassive. He wasn't angry, no, it was merely that he lacked control of his strength sometimes. He looked at Lenard, as if nothing had happened. "Hey, Lenard, you missed introductions. Her name's Kat," he stated, reading his stare at her a look of interest. He glanced to Kat. "And this is Lenard."

Firah had allowed the corners of her mouth to curl upward slightly, though her rock hard gaze had yet to soften. It wasn't directed at the girl in particular, it was just the slight fact that it wasn't often that she had to actually greet or welcome anyone. The female completed her sandwich. She did indeed intend to go to class this time, seeing as how she didn't have to do anything quote as tedious a math. She actually enjoyed literature class. She noted Eureka out of the corners of her perspective. She had taken note that the raven haired beauty had seemed rather irritated about something, though Firah hadn't quite deciphered what.
~
As Sienna stood, her patience grew thin the longer she waited, though it could have been all of two minutes. Patience was never her best virtue. The brunette looked down the hall in the direction of the staircase, looking out for nurses that notice she's missing. Though typically, the boy's side of the stairs is the last place they'd look for her, oddly enough. She knocked a little harder on the door. "Luna, are you okay in there?" She asked concerned. The female could smell blood, but that was only due to the reason that her senses were heightened in the slightest than most. Just like a dog's would. Nothing major. She did however begin to worry about him.
She knocked again, though she swore if she knocked any harder that she would break a hole in the door. "Luna, if you don't say something, I'm kicking the door down, and I damn well won't be sorry about it and you know that." They wanted to call her a sociopath? She would start by unapologetically breaking into Luna's room.

Luna Jumping at the noise outside, Luna dug the spring way further into his arm than he meant to. He groaned out, clutching his wrist. Wincing a little, he walked to the door. He held his arm behind his back, it replied by bleeding profusely, and placed a smile on his face. The knob was turned, the smooth metal felt calm on his fingertips. He could have easily sensed who was hiding behind the door. He could've read her astral code, but what fun would that be? It would only ruin the surprise. The door stubbornly opened, letting out a shrill creeeaak. Luna peered through the doorway to see a petite brunette. "Oh Sienna," he sang out in mock joy. "What are you doing here? You'll get in trouble." He joked, sweetly.

((Ari didn't explicitly call her a witch out-loud. And Reaper, could you maybe use a darker color for Sienna's speech? It's really hard to read without highlighting....))
Ari glanced at Eureka's annoyance, without a clue as to what caused it. "And there will be a quiz," she added with a grin to show she was only kidding. "But honestly, most of us will respond to 'hey you'. Probably," she shrugged, looking to Firah. "Firah, how long did it take for me to get your name in my head and stop calling you Fanny?" she asked, more aiming to smooth over the tension than anything. But she had, in truth, called her roommate the wrong name for weeks. At first it was because she couldn't keep the name straight, but continued because she thought it was funny and Firah had not been fond of the nickname.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys Gulping down another bowl of soup and two more sandwhiches Alex hung his head some as he took in a slow breath. Several of the people here were all to happy with the way things were around the home. Far to eager to accept the lifestyle they now went thru. All to quick to shed off there prior life and adopt this one as reality. Then again that could just be his mental disorder talking. He had remembered it while his mind had been wandering. Severe Anxiety Disorder,or S.A.D as he had taken to calling and labeling it as. Whether it was the truth or a shaded lie on it he did not know nor care. They kept him within the walls keeping those around him "safe" from him.
Standing up slowly Alex took the plate and bowl together and walked it to the area for the dishes. It would be someone's job today to wash them and honestly he hoped it was him. It kept his mind of anything other then the present and kept him somewhat happy. It was a medial labor he enjoyed. Looking over at Lenard Alex couldn't help but shake his head. The state the kid was in being that of one Alex was all to familiar with. They had said nothing this time around so it didn't seem like he was going to get punished but he didn't hold his breathe for a hope it wouldn't happen.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

(OOC: I apologize. I'll change the color of her dialogue.) Firah's ruby gaze directed to her roommate Ari as she recalled the time that she had first arrived. She remembered how Ari could never quite get her name right, and her little nickname was even worse. In hindsight however, their little spats over it seemed more amusing than irritating.
"Haha laugh it up kid." Firah said, her smirk not really quite disappearing. She remembered retaliating by always calling Ari 'kid' or 'Fiery Vixen' every time the nickname came up. Given it wasn't as clever as the name that Ari had given her, but at the time, Ari didn't seem pleased being mockingly called kid all the time, so it was a process that seemed to work at the time. Of course she could have ruffled her hair to add effect, but she was across the table, and Firah wasn't going to jump over it to make a point. Firah turned to Issac, who was sitting a seat away from her. "Hello Issac." She said. He seemed to be rather amused with the conversation bing held.
~
The moment Luna opened the door, the scent of blood was quite a bit stronger. Sienna flicked her eyes around the room to locate it's source, though a major part of her figured that it was coming from Luna, seeing as how he was the only living creature residing in the room. Sienna pursed her lips for the time span of a millisecond as if she were forcing herself to keep quiet. She desperately wanted to say something, but figured that it may be best that she hadn't said anything. Out in the hallways especially. You never knew when someone was lurking around. Siena's lips had allowed for her brilliant smile to peak through once more, hiding the fact that she could smell the blood quite well. "Nah, they'll never catch me. I came up here to get you! The nurses will come knocking at your door a lot more than I did if they find you skipping." The female's evergreen eyes looked up at the blonde.

Luna Luna stayed in the doorway as he conversed with Sienna. Her green eyes shone brightly at him. In them, though, there seemed to be... Sadness? Was that what it was? Nah, Sienna was smiling. She didn't really seem sad. "I'm not really hungry," he lied with a small smile. He shrugged his shoulders. Blood began to drip down to his fingertips and fall to the floor. Damn, he thought, That was a lot deeper than it was supposed to be. His arm was throbbing loudly. Luna tried his best to maintain his composure. Would Sienna be sad if she knew? Would she care? Whatever the answer was, blood continued to drip in crimson tears. He was losing it fast. If he didn't work his magic soon he might faint, or even die for real. "Did you really just come here to scold me?" He asked with a gentle laugh. What would he do? What would Sienna do if she found out? Should he make her leave? His arm remained limp behind his back.

As Sienna spoke to Luna, she couldn't help but notice the drops of blood dripping to the floor. So much for plan A. Sienna sighed a silent sigh as she looked into Luna's ocean eyes. "I'm coming in." She said as her petite stature moved past the male and closed the door behind her. She was already breaking a troth of rules by going there, what was another one going to do? Revoke computer rights? She was already on punishment for attempted escape about a month ago when she arrived. Besides, Luna needed to heal his wound, and he couldn't do that while she was blatantly standing in the hall.
"Go ahead and heal Luna, unless you want ME to do it. Trust me when I say that your way is tons better than alcohol on a cut." If the nurses found out, they would probably give him a billion different bottles of experimental medication. Sienna smiled as her evergreen eyes wandered around the room, strangely fascinated by it.
