[ I ] { A } mnot that person who can just instantly trust people. [ I ] { A } mthat person with the guilty heart. Ashriel looked at Raevyn softly, looking down. "But..." She couldn't find a reason to back up her argument. This would get her no where, and she realized it. If she couldn't back her argument up, it didn't matter what her opinion was. It had to have something behind it. Her mind raced for a reason, finally supplying one. "It's taking away from you guys without giving anything in return. You guys lose, I gain...that isn't right."  The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn shook his head. "No, you're wrong. We're not loosing. We're giving." He sighed, crossing his arms lightly. "Ashriel, we do this because we want to. No one is forcing us to do do this. This is our choice. It's what friends do." He wasn't sure when it had happened really, but somehow Ashriel had gone from his caregiver to his responsibility to his friend.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

She looked at Raevyn, nodding simply without saying anything more. In just a couple of gulps, she finished her cup of juice and walked to the dining room table, thinking carefully. Was there anyway to convince them to keep those things to themselves? That she didn't need them? Well, if Raevyn hadn't seen the bills, Ash might have had a chance. But he knew that she was close to being behind on her payment for the apartment, and her part of the utilities for the month had yet to be payed. That and she'd gotten fired. She sighed, shoving her head into her arms. What else was she supposed to do? [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, watching Ashriel. How could he make her understand that he wanted to do this? This wasn't trying to get her to repay him. This was him repaying her. She'd taken care of him when he was sick and she was letting him live here. Dishing up the food, he took the plates to the table, setting one in front of Ashriel's arms. "Supper." He told her quietly. "Tomorrow, if you're feeling better, we'll go see Mama about getting you a job there." He hadn't forgotten about his promise to get her a new job. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Funny, she had no problem with giving things, but accepting help bothered her. Was that wrong? Perhaps. She began to eat slowly, nodding as he spoke. "By the way, even if tomorrow is Friday, I am NOT missing another day of school." Her voice was flat, and she was still slightly upset over the fact that she was accepting help. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled lightly. "If you are feeling better, you can go. If you're like today, were you can barely stand, then no." He chuckled and took a bite before speaking again. "But you seem to be doing better so we'll see." That said, he set to work on his food, eating quickly. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... "Alright." Raevyn said with a chuckle, not arguing. "You certainly have your appetite back." He admitted with a smile, eating his food slowly. When he was done, he automatically reached out to grab Ashriel's dishes, taking them - and his - to the kitchen to wash them. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced back at Ashriel, looking almost confused. "And why wouldn't I? I'm the one who made up the mess. I've always cleaned up my messes." He seemed baffled as to what the girl meant. He'd lived on his own so long that cleaning up was just automatic now. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn set the dishes down and turned to face Ashriel, his expression serious. "And you didn't have to save my life." He told her quietly. "I was just a stray cat you'd never seen before. You saved my life. I'm repaying my debt." Despite his words though, the past couple days hadn't been much of a chore to him. He'd just done it. But he didn't think Ashriel would accept that, so he went with the other reason. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Her breathing was smooth as she stood there. Biting her lip, she looked up at Raevyn's eyes. Really, she'd only picked him up before because he was hurt. It wasn't possible for her to just pass by an injured person or animal without helping. Besides, she had no choice but to take him to the vet and whatnot with the condition he'd been in. "But you've saved my life once already...so you really didn't need to do a lot of what you did." The girl was of course referring to the point where she'd practically thrown herself out the window on accident. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, putting a hand to his forehead. "Does it really matter that much?" He asked exasperatedly. "I did it because I wanted to. It's over and done with. Stop worrying about it." He wasn't seeing why she was making such a big deal out of it. "Look, is it really that hard to accept that some people might care about you? Her voice was soft, unsure. She move her fingers through her hair, fidgeting with it as she gazed at him. It seemed strange for her to believe that they actually cared about her.
