 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn moved closer, pulling her hand from her hair. "Of course I'm right. I'm always right. Now stop worrying about it, okay?" He seemed to almost sense what she was thinking. "I don't what your idiotic parents did or whatever. But Jennalin, Lixini and I care for you." He told her softly, his amber eyes serious.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

She stuttered as she looked at him softly. "I...I guess you are right." There she goes, enlarging his ego. "Thank you." She whispered, holding in a single tear. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled softly. "It was nothing." He said lightly and let go of her arm. He turned around and began filling the sink with water to do the dishes. He hummed softly to himself as if nothing ha happened. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Maybe it was nothing to you, but it was a lot to me." She whispered under her breath, forgetting that he would be able to hear her. Walking from the kitchen, she headed into the bedroom, spreading herself out on the bed. What was she supposed to do now? Rest more? Get things done? Somehow she doubted that Raevyn did all of her laundry. She lifted herself off the bed, going to the closet to check her laundry hamper. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn smiled to himself but made no comment, knowing he would only embarrass her. He continued to do the dishes. Once they were done, he moved back to the bedroom only to see Ashriel staring into the full hamper. "What are you doing?" He asked, blinking in surprise. He'd only washed the curtain earlier, not the rest of her clothes. He never really had to worry about clothes, thanks to his powers. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed and caught up to her easily. "At least let me carry it for you, if you're so stubborn about it." He said, picking up the hamper. He didn't order her back to bed though. He had a feeling she was fed up with bedrest. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn wore a smug grin as he carried the hamper easily. He was slowly getting Ashriel to accept his help. And that fact pleased him, oddly enough. He simply followed Ashriel to the laundry room. He let her do it though, knowing he could only push so much help on her at once. He sat down on one of the chairs to watch her. The tiger that should be....isn't....

She turned on the machines and stepped away, leaning against the wall while she waited on them to finish. [ I ] { A } m that shy person that is forced to speak. The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn pulled a book out of the pocket of his leather jacket. He flipped it open and began to read easily. "Laundry is a boring chore, you know that?" He said absently as he read. "It's no wonder most guys shy away from it." The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn turned the page in his book and didn't speak for a moment. Then he said quietly, "What's to think about? You have such a straightforward personality." It was an odd comment, one that could be taken as either a compliment or an insult. It was hard to tell which he meant it to be, with his detached voice. He said it as if stating a fact more than anything. The tiger that should be....isn't....

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn glanced up from his book, looking at Ashriel briefly. "And just what do you think about then?" He asked with a small half-smile, genuinely curious. Ashriel seemed like the kind of girl who simply said whatever was on her mind. So he wondered what it was that she needed to think about. The tiger that should be....isn't....
